Author, Kate Hannigan spotted me signing for Lee & Low Books at ALA in Chicago, IL in June. We exchanged contact information and she was gracious enough to feature an interview and review of As Fast As Words Could Fly on her blog, Author Of.

Kate is a children's book author of middle-grade fiction and nonfiction. Her debut novel, Cupcake Cousins is scheduled to be released  May 2014 (Hyperion-Disney), and look for her historical fiction middle-grade, The Detective's Assistant in April 2015 (Little Brown Books for Young Readers).

ALA 2013 in Chicago, IL

I enjoyed signing books at the ALA Conference in Chicago, IL. I sold out of books and had to sign bookplates! I met a lot of wonderful people. The librarians and teachers truly make authors feel like royalty!
