She writes the Second Chance Teacher Romance series under the pen name of Marlisa Kriscott, 7 Christian romances starting with AARON AFTER SCHOOL. Chapoton has also written or co-written several non-fiction works including 35 LESSONS IN THE PSALMS, MOMS IN THE BIBLE, TEENS IN THE BIBLE, ANIMALS IN THE BIBLE, PRAYER JOURNAL AND BIBLE STUDY, HOW TO BLEND FAMILIES, HOW TO HELP YOUR CHILD SUCCEED IN SCHOOL, CROSSING THE SCRIPTURES, HOW TO BUILD A LOG HOME IN UNDER A YEAR, 300 PLUS TEACHER HACKS AND TIPS, 200 CREATIVE WRITING PROMPTS, 400 CREATIVE WRITING PROMPTS, BEYOND CREATIVE WRITING PROMPTS, ADVANCED CREATIVE WRITING PROMPTS and HOW TO TEACH A FOREIGN LANGUAGE. She has a series of puzzle books, BRAIN POWER PUZZLES, filled with anagrams, sudoku, math puzzles, word puzzles, cryptograms, and other mind-stretching activities.

Chapoton’s children’s books include THE SECRET IN THE HIDDEN CAVE, MYSTERY'S GRAVE, BULLIES AND BEARS, A TICK IN TIME, and BIGFOOT DAY, NINJA NIGHT as well as the six book series that begins with NICK BAZEBAHL AND THE FORBIDDEN TUNNELS.
