The Purpose

My goal is to connect with 30 individuals within the United States who have read my story and who agree with my plan to improve our inner cities in America starting in Chicago. They must have degrees or training in the following areas: Executive Assistant, Accountant, General Manager, Social Worker, Associate Director, Financial Planner, Marketing, Information Technology Coordinator, Grant Writer, Lawyer, Development Assistant, Real Estate Broker, Business Manager, Insurance Agent, Administrative Receptionist, Human Resource Manger, Finance, Musician, Vocal Coach, Poet, Play Writers/ Film Makers, Actors/Actresses, Theater Director, Public Relation Specialist, Journalist, and Box Office Staff.

My book is just the beginning, it’s my hope that through my book I could connect with people from the business community who are Angel Investors, Business Partners, Christian Entrepreneurs, and Social Entrepreneurs to discuss my for profit business plan. Since I lack the funds to travel around the country to promote my revised book tour I decided to hold a virtual book tour in the form of a webinar on Facebook and Skype just send me a friend request my Skype screen name is manwell4mankind.

GRCAM is a Christian socialist organization which will take the lead to help end urban violence, poverty, structural inequality, institutionalized racism, and police brutality within the communities and cities we will serve if given a chance. I created GRCAM on the belief that inner city youth and their families are entitled to respect, basic resources, and protection and safety in our own community. I welcome all Christian denominations in the faith, moderate Muslims, and Secular People on Facebook, Google Plus, LinkedIn, Twitter, and WordPress to participate in my free online events. I am trying to start a new independent movement in Black America which focus on community activism and strengthening the black family through our programs and services.

This years theme, “Community Pledge 2016” I welcome and challenge all participants to interact with me and work with me to move my virtual organization the Grass Roots Community Activist Movement from behind a computer. To mobilize like minded people across the United States and abroad to purchase my revised book and work with me in getting this book on the best seller list. I can’t do this alone in order for me to achieve my goal, I need people on my friends list, people in my social groups, and Chicago residents to work with me by spreading my book information with your family, friends, place of worship, and also at your local community center.

The purpose of these events:

* I want to get re-acquainted with people on my friends list and those in my social groups.

* To network with a legitimate film maker who will work with me in turning my story into a motion picture.

* To recruit 30 individuals within the United States who have read my book and agree with my plan to improve our inner cities starting in Chicago.

Once I generate enough capital from my book sell and have my management team in place then I will start the Grass Roots Community Activist Institute in Chicago. My pledge to the inner city of Chicago residents is that none of my members will ever have to endure such humiliation and rejection just for trying to do something positive in the black community. Since 2001 over 4000 people has been killed in Chicago alone and as a result Chicago is currently the murder capital in America. We see that nothing out there is working to end senseless violence in Chicago why not embrace my plan?

It's my hope that GRCAI will be a gathering place for aspiring artists and upcoming entrepreneurs and eventually a gathering place to connect people interested in film, music, dance, design, theater, fashion, and culinary arts. Our events will attract hundreds of individuals, businesses and organizations for discussions & workshops, networking opportunities for local residents. We will have food, live music, and sports events to help fund our programs and services to make sure our neighborhood is safe vibrant and productive. This will be a lasting legacy in our community. It's my hope that GRCAI could someday become the Hub in the Midwest for emerging artists and upcoming entrepreneurs. GRCAI will host live entertainment and all types of events, workshops and seminars with such topics as legal, financial and space issues. GRCAI will represent the great diversity within black culture from film making and performing arts to entrepreneurship from African Americans, Afro Brazilians, Caribbean Islanders, and Native Africans throughout the African Diaspora.

Those of you who are serious about participating in my free webinar we will do Facetime through video chat. If you are camera shy then just cover your camera so that we could do voice chat. I will answer any questions you may have about my revised book, my future film and my virtual organization the Grass Roots Community Activist Movement. My BTR show is for ordinary law abiding citizens who is trying to make a positive impact in this world. I want to give grassroots Actors, Actresses, Artists, Comedians, Dancers, Fashion Designers, Film Makers, Models, Musicians, Performing Artist, Poets, Gospel Singers, and Writers a chance to promote their talent and skills on this show until we are able to turn GRCAM into a real business.

I created “GRCAM” the Grass Roots Community Activist Movement on November 10th 1991 on a site called Gopher. My focus then was on inner city youth and their families who I believe are entitled to respect, basic resources, and safety in their own community. I wanted to create a space to empower black students on campus to share our experience, exchange ideas, and question our beliefs that we take for granted, grapple with ethical problems we never considered before attending college. Today I have broaden my perspective to include African Immigrants, Afro Brazilians, Afro Caribbean Islanders, and Nonblack sympathizers interested in working with me to solve black issues once and for all.

GRCAM is currently a virtual Christian socialist organization. Christian socialism is a form of socialism based on the teachings of Jesus. We believe capitalism is idolatrous and rooted in greed, which some Christian denominations consider a mortal sin. The cause of social inequality is due to capitalism. We will focus on what we stand for: love, compassion, social justice, and liberation theology. Jesus commanded us to be a witness to others not just for us to read his word, but to activate social change in the world according to Luke 4:18-19. GRCAM is committed to the healing ministry of Jesus by showing compassion to inner city youth and their families which will promote dignity to the people and community we will serve. GRCAM will offer a broad range of programs designed to empower and meet the growing need of the African American community, the African Immigrant community, the Afro Brazilian community, and the Afro Caribbean community. I welcome my Non-black sympathizers as well as all Christian denominations, moderate Muslims, and secular people to join this new movement in Urban America.

GRCAM is based on five components:

* Our Social service component – We will provide goods and services to the low income African American community by working directly with single black mothers, single black fathers, and low income two parent families within the communities and cities we will serve. We will offer private employment within the organization to our clients and members based on our budget and sponsorship. In time we will offer a second chance program for ex offenders, former gang members, and the homeless. Our goal is to first stabilize the community through our outreach programs and services and create legitimate jobs so that our young people don’t become career criminals. As a result we will have safer streets where our clients can raise their families.

* Our spiritual component – (Optional for secular people) GRCAM is a Christian socialist organization. A Christian socialist is a form of socialism based on the teachings of Jesus. * Our political component – We will create our own independent political party at the local level. We will educate the community and push for community rights by creating our own laws known as community rights and get those laws on the books which will be compatible with the dominant culture. Our laws would protect our local residents and give the community a voice and those affected by bias in the current system. We will hold both Rogue Cops and Urban Terrorist accountable for their actions in a constructive manner. We will form cooperative
alliance beyond the black community so that this organization can be diverse for all people of Chicago and surrounding suburbs of Chicago.

* Our Entertainment component – We will host the best African American DJs, African Immigrant DJs, Afro Brazilian DJs and Afro Caribbean DJs. We will display the best of black culture has to offer: from concerts, workshops/seminars, and plenty of family friendly activities. We will host the best parties in Chicago, with various music genres such as Reggae, Gospel, R&B, Jazz, Hip Hop/Holy Hip Hop, Spoken word and more. We will create the best films and stage plays in Chicago, and we will promote unknown artist who become members of this organization. It's my hope that the Grass Roots Community Activist Movement could become the Hub in the Midwest for emerging artists and upcoming entrepreneurs.

* Our Entrepreneurship component – we will provide help accelerate black business ownership within the black community which will help strengthen the black family which would make an impact in the economy.

The Facts:

+ For 24 years going on 25 I’ve been doing my best to find 30 qualified people in my city and online to join my management team yet still to this day I have no one on management team. Established black organizations in my city has overlooked my plan to improve our inner cities in Chicago yet none of these black leaders have a plan to solve our current problems within our community.

+ Since 2001 over 4000 people has been killed in Chicago alone and as a result Chicago is currently the murder capital in America. We see that nothing is working to end senseless violence in Chicago. We see that all of the protesting and chanting is not working to bring about social change. If only I could reach positive demonstrators to work with me in getting this organization started in Chicago then we will see real change come about in our inner cities in America.

+ This is not my burden alone I am just one black man with a plan this is a shared burden. You don't have to wait until my revised book get on the best sellers list to step forward and work with me and Sister Rena. I am using the only tools currently available to me to get my message out to the public that is my Youtube videos, my Social Groups, my Blog Postings, my Blogtalkradio show, my Free Webinars I hold on Facebook, Google Plus and Skype. The only thing which is preventing me from turning my virtual Christian organization into a real business is the lack of manpower and the capital this is why I keep re-emphasizing my revised book.

+ It’s my hope that my revised book would get into the hands of Angel Investors, Business Partners, Christian Entrepreneurs, and Social Entrepreneurs who will work with me in starting my For Profit business in Chicago. As well as get into the hands of Donors, Philanthropist, and Sponsors who will work with me in starting my Nonprofit organization in Chicago.

+ I am still searching for a legitimate film director and producer to work with me in turning my revised book into a motion picture. As soon as I have my film crew in place I will post that information on my websites. If you have purchased my revised book and agree with my plan or if you are an active group member I would encourage You to participate in our open audition for my urban Christian film based on my book when the time comes. If you are selected by our panel then I will discuss compensation with you sorry only U.S. citizens at this time.

+ I seek 30 individuals within the United States who have read my story, agree with my plan/vision to improve our inner cities in America, and who meet the qualifications I am seeking for those persons to make themselves known to me. I provide all of my contact information in my revised book. We will do background check and if selected I will discuss compensation and incentives with them behind closed doors. No man nor woman on earth will change the vision my creator has given me to do. If GRCAM does not come about in my life time at least future generations would know my intentions based on my revised book.

I want to make Chicago a model first before we expand to 10 other cities within 10 states. My vision goes beyond Black America my vision includes Africa, Brazil and the Caribbean Islands. Once we're established in 10 cities I plan on having African Immigrants in America to assist me in setting up chapters in 10 countries in Africa. We will go through the proper channels with their government to start my (NGO) Non-government organization/private non-profit and for profit service based business. We will offer private employment to our clients and members based on our budget and our sponsorship. We will provide infrastructure for clean running water, agricultural technology to feed the people, and most of all help improve the African economy as well as educate our people about the problems with Capitalism and show them an alternative GRCAM. We will also expand to Brazil and the Caribbean Islands.

Our community will be built on values of faith, community service, stewardship and growth with friendship at the center of everything we do. GRCAM is about making our urban community better, healthier, and stronger. GRCAM is also about building a strong unified global community and providing basic resources to families that want to utilize our programs and services. GRCAM is open to all ordinary law abiding citizens, all racial groups, and undiscovered artist. GRCAM is private in order for me to weed out harden criminals, active gang members, urban terrorist and small minded individuals who careless about inner city youth and their families. GRCAM is membership base once I have a place of business in Chicago everyone must attend our mandatory orientation and sign our consent form. My pledge to our members is that I will work to assist them in reaching their personal life goals and help keep their children off the streets and away from gangs and drugs within the business. My book is just the beginning what I want to be remembered for is trying to build something positive in the black community instead of complaining about the white man, career politicians, and the government. This will help speed up the process for me to move GRCAM from behind a PC so that I can do all of the things which I have written. GRCAI will create documentary films, stage plays, and provide a recreation center for local residents on our premises.

GRCAM main mission is to empower the African American community and turn my ideas into reality through Holistic Health approach, Fitness and Nutrition, Christianity, Environmental Issues, Financial Literacy, Crime Prevention, Job Creation, Urban Entertainment, Family Resource for Chicagoans.

I am actively putting my advocating skills to use through my blog postings, my online talkshow, my social groups, my Youtube videos and now through my revised book "The Solution For Black America: Reclaiming, Rebuilding, And Restoring The Urban Ghettos In America" second edition available on Amazon. In my book I provide a 21st century plan on how my Christian organization will help eradicate urban violence, poverty, structural inequality, institutionalized racism, and police brutality within the communities and cities we will serve if given a chance.

What makes GRCAI different from other black organizations is that GRCAI is based on my experience and my book is the foundation of my Christian organization. It’s my hope that GRCAI will become a permanent infrastructure to celebrate Chicago’s Artist who will compete with other cities like Los Angeles, New York, and Atlanta and become the Hub throughout the Mid-west for emerging black artists and upcoming black Christian Entrepreneurs.
