Storyweavers
Just so everyone knows. Storyweavers is the paperback version of Stoytellers. I wouldn't buy it if I were you, as it is severely over priced. I used Publish America, to see how their services worked.
The book seems like good quality, but a $30 price tag is just plain ridiculous.
So if you would like to read my only fantasy series that I wrote when I first started writing, I would suggest picking it up from the Nook or Kindle for 0.99, it's way cheaper.

Preview chapter 2 Tainted blood
I put up Chapter 2 for anyone that's interested. Editing is coming along slowly, but I'm still hoping to have everything done by the end of the month. So enjoy.

I was mentioned on a reviewers blog today
More then mentioned actually. They put me down as one of their favorite authors, and compared my paranormal romances to the likes of L.J. Smith or Kelley Armstrong. I'm in shock to be honest. I'd appreciate it if any of you reading this would go take a look at her article at the link I provided. Wow...just wow.

Fallen Blood, the sequel
Well I've gone and done it. I'm working hard on the next installment of Fallen Blood, tentatively titled Tainted Blood. It's actually shaping up pretty well. I'm surprised at how easy it's coming out so far. I'm thinking maybe I should have started this one earlier rather than the couple I'm having trouble with. Either way, this one is working out well, and I hope I'm not jinxing myself by saying how easy it is.
So for those who are looking for the next in the series, fear not, it's being worked on as we speak. I'm going to be releasing sample chapters as the days progress. I hope you enjoy them. For those who have not read the first one, I suggest you check it out before trying to read the new one.

5 star review for Fallen Blood
Yep the title says it all. I'd appreciate it if you would stop by Mary's and say thank you, or what ever other comments you would like to say.
Fallen Blood got a 5 star review yesterday. I thought I'd share it.

And here it is:
Brian has been in love with Heather for as long as he can remember, the only issue is Heather doesn't even know he is alive. He steals glances at her at school, but it's when she falls asleep that Brian gets to really see Heather.
Brian is a vampire and has the ability to visit Heather in her dreams. He can also travel to anywhere she is. One night he decides to visit her, to find that she isn't home. Instead she is in an abandoned house with her boyfriend and some friends. When Heather goes to go home early, men in black suits try coming to find her.
Heather is able to hide with Brian's help, but the men in suits have her family and friends. Brian is unsure what he should do, but he knows that he needs to protect Heather at all costs. So Brian and Heather leave town, meeting some great characters along the way. But trouble is not far behind....
I LOVED fallen blood. It is written in the 3rd person, which is exactly how the book had to be written to be portrayed so strongly. The more than I got into the book, I felt as though I was part of Brian and Heather's friends... that I was on this dangerous journey with them. I really liked the turn on vampire's that Martin took, Brian is not your ordinary everyday dead, can't go in sunlight vampire ... he is alive. I couldn't believe it what I was reading... I had to keep saying to myself " NO WAY! THAT DID NOT JUST HAPPEN!" I pretty sure I annoyed a few people that were around me! There is suspense, action and romance at every turn! I just couldn't get enough...
Note To Martin: Thanks for the great read... but really did you have to give me an ending like that... I NEED MORE!

Shades of Twilight
Well, I'm just about done with my new Vampire romance. Most of it's with my editor and my proofreader at this moment. I'm not sure how other authors write, but myself, I write a chapter, then send it out to be edited. After the edit, it goes out to be proofread, before returning to my friendly editor, and then making it's way back to me.
The steps are pretty new and I just got it going with my last book, Fallen Blood. Hopefully we've worked out all the bugs now with this system for the new book we're working on now.

New blog
It's been five days since I wrote anything, mostly because of things going on in my life. Wish they were good things. On fathers day I was alerted to being a new grandfather. A semi happy moment indeed. The added complication was that my daughter didn't want the boy, and wanted me to take him.
After seeing the loving bundle I couldn't see how I could not want him, so I agreed to take him, thinking it should be an easy thing enough for my little girl to have me raise her son till she got her life straightened out. In steps CPS and that all changed.
Apparently the fact that I committed a couple of felony's before my daughter was ever born, back when I was a teenager automatically disqualified me to receive my grandson. Even tho I was 47 years old today and I committed that burglary when I was 18.
Our only option was to try and get a lawyer and fight it, but we only had till 9am the next day to do that. In the end my daughter fell apart and just gave my grandson away to be adopted. My heart goes with her and her wish's, but I feel like I lost something special in my life.
Ah the stupidity of youth, I mean mine not hers. I wish I could take that stupid night back and never went out with my friends that night. One night of stupidity effecting a precious child so far in the future that I never really will get to know or could of known what the repercussion would be from that night.
