A Sexy Morning ~ @MySexySaturday #MySexySaturday #Saturday7 #MSSAuthors

Welcome to My Sexy Saturday. This week's theme is sexy mornings. I've a new story just out, Burning Rubber, and it's featured in the Wild Angels Anthology. Here's a morning moment, though it's anything but ordinary, but hey, that's the way bikers roll.

When I woke the next morning, Gid was gone, but I’d predicted that. My orgasms had sent me into a deep, dreamless sleep that despite me not having an evening meal, had taken me right through the night.I sat on the edge of the bed. My body ached from the sexy athletics. I reached for the torn condom wrapper on the floor, folded it in half then put it back in my bedside drawer—it was all I had to remember him by.I wondered where they were now. Racing over the State Line? Stopped at a diner? Causing trouble with other bikers? As I was heading for the shower, a pang of jealousy hit me. It was a longing for that exciting, reckless lifestyle—no ties, no responsibility, just the open road and a gang who lived and fought like brothers. As I waited for the water to heat, I glanced in the mirror.Fuck, I had more than the condom to remember Gid by. My neck was a mess.I leaned closer and studied my pale skin. Not only were there deep ruby love bites down the right side, there were also finger marks from where he’d squeezed my neck at the height of orgasm up on the hill.

Burning Rubber will be available as a single title on the 2nd of January or you can purchase the entire anthology now!

Burning Rubber by Lily Harlem
When trouble rides into town, what girl can resist the ultimate bad boy?
Handling men isn’t an issue for me. I’m not a girly girl and my best friends are the machines I spend my days fixing, tweaking and servicing. So when the Wild Angels roll onto my forecourt and need my help, I’m happy to be of assistance.
But I’ve always been a magnet for trouble and when the leader of the pack, Gid, questions my ability, I can’t help the sassy backchat. Seems it doesn’t bother him too much and before I know it, I’m climbing onto his beast and hanging on for the ride.
Bad ass guys like him don’t come without baggage, though, and it seems he wants to get rid of mine. Who am I to complain when it means revenge is hot, his body is hotter and we leave a trail of burning rubber as we head into the sunset? Biker girl, me? I guess it’s in the blood.
Reader Advisory: This book contains a scene involving mild breath play.
Witness by Rosalie Stanton
She’s the only thing good about his former life, and he’s been asked to end hers.
Serenity Jones never expected her homecoming to be heralded with a double-murder, or that she’d be the lone witness. Yet when she points the finger at the president of the Lucifer’s Legion Motorcycle Club, she finds herself the target of more than just an investigation—she’s a liability, one Lucifer’s Legion is determined to erase.
Dash Denyar owes everything to Lucifer’s Legion. A decade prior, he set himself on a path of self-destruction, and would have crashed and burned were it not for the motorcycle club. His loyalty was bought and paid for—he just never expected the price of loyalty to include ending the life of Serenity Jones, the only woman he ever loved.
Serenity has dreamed of her reunion with Dash ever since she left her hometown behind. Never did she imagine it would be on the other side of a blindfold, or with her life in the balance. As she tries to work out what happened to her childhood friend, she finds herself battling more than just survivor’s instinct. Ten years of unspoken feelings, regrets, and what-ifs threaten to break her, if Dash doesn’t do it first.
Reader Advisory: This book contains scenes of kidnap, murder, references to drug use and suicide.
Grounds for Divorce by Helena Maeve
Overworked and jaded, Kayla is convinced she’s had her fill of bad boys when her boyfriend’s debts catapult her into a stranger’s arms.
A woman with a reputation, Kayla has long given up on true love. She’s thirty-three going on ninety-four, mother of one with a boyfriend who makes no secret of settling for her. When she’s not doing the books at the local strip club, she’s warming up the stage. Holding off the loan sharks is par for the course, until the night outlaw biker, Booker O’Connor, rolls into town.
Suddenly the bills come due and, in an act of desperation, Kayla’s boyfriend offers her up as payment for his debts to the motorcycle club. But their new leader has a reputation of his own.
Booker’s the real deal, from prison ink to bullet scars. No matter how sexy he may be or how much she’s growing to hate her boyfriend, Kayla has been with enough bad boys to know that she should fear callused hands and dangerous smiles. Striking out on her own seems like Kayla’s best option, but the Hell Hounds aren’t known for backing down quietly. She doesn’t expect Booker to give chase, much less discover that she doesn’t mind being caught by a man who can finally give her what she wants.
Reader Advisory: This book contains references to prostitution and sexual coercion.

My story Burning Rubber will be available as a standalone purchase on the 2nd of January.

Blissemas

Hello and welcome to my Blissemas post! I adore Christmas, especially the build up. I love wrapping presents, putting up the tree, lighting the fire and long walks in the frosty countryside. I live in Wales, sometimes we get lots of snow, other times it's just damp and the short days and low sun make it feel dark and atmospheric. I adore all of the seasons and this time of year is no exception, especially when it looks like this outside…

Instead of writing bright sunny romance stories, it puts me in the mood for more angst in my plot lines, and a dose of tragedy and torment. I've just finished a novel called Rule Breaker and certainly grey skies and creepy mist play a part in setting the scene for my heroines frame of mind.
Here are a few more pictures from my walk with the dogs at the weekend. I walked for miles thinking up new characters and stories. This kind of place I find very inspirational. It's a local manor house that opens its gardens and grounds to the public from time to time. On this particular day I was the only person there. I just wrapped up warm and it was wonderful.

Walking for miles is all very lovely but it doesn't get you anywhere very fast. However, catching a ride on motorbike certainly does!

I've always been a speed freak, I guess it stems from being scared of heights, I've got to get a rush from somewhere and hopping on a mean machine certainly does that for me. Which is why when I was asked to contribute to Totally Bound's Wild Angel Anthology I jumped at the chance.

A little research into bikers was also fun…

Wild Angels is out today in paperback and ebook, but if you want to just get your mits on my story, Burning Rubber, that's also available as a standalone read - early download from the publisher until 2nd January then general release from all good ebook retailers. Fabulous cover designed by Posh Gosh!

Excerpt from my story, The Chase.
“I like proper museums, you know, like the ones in London, dinosaurs, fossils and stuff.”
“God, I haven’t been there for years.” Robert turned. “We should go.”
“Yeah, that would be fun.” Steve smiled. The thought of a trip to London appealed. Maybe they’d share a hotel room, drink too much and end up rolling into bed again. His cock thickened. Damn, what was it with him tonight? He was so horny. Any thought of sex had him preparing to hammer nails.
“I’ll have a look at hotels, see if I can get us a deal,” Robert said. “We’ll get the train.”
“Mmm...” Steve could picture it now—a dark, warm room, him bent over. Exactly how Robert had described earlier; spanked, prepared, trembling with need.
“You okay?” Robert stepped close, real close, and looked down at Steve.
Steve swallowed and longing grew in his belly as the image in his mind moved on to Robert sinking his glorious thick cock deep into his arsehole.
The blue-tinged lights from the sign on the museum shone down on Robert’s face, highlighting his strong features and the denseness of his black stubble. Heat from his breath and his body radiated towards him. He was so big; Steve had always felt engulfed by Robert, consumed by his physical strength. He loved that about him.
“Yeah, just been a long time since we had a weekend together, that’s all.”
“Too long.” Robert reached up and stroked the back of his index finger down Steve’s cheek.
The gesture was small but it weakened Steve’s knees. Every tiny patch of his skin that Robert touched felt on fire and his cock went from semi to full hardness.
“Too long since,” Steve repeated.
“Since?”
“Anything. Everything.”
Robert licked his lips, leaving a light sheen on them.
Steve stared at them and remembered when they were his lips to kiss—his lips to slide his cock between. “Fuck!” Robert said, his eyes flashing.
“What?” Steve felt like his heart was going to thump right out of his chest.
What was going on? Was Robert going to admit there was still something between them? Did he feel it too, this growing need and lust?
“I...” Robert shook his head.
“What?”
Robert frowned then took Steve’s face in his hands and hauled him closer.
Steve gasped and pressed his palms on Robert’s jacket, feeling the dense muscle beneath the cool leather.
Their toes touched. They were both breathing hard, the air misting between them.
“I need...” Robert whispered.
“What?” Steve asked again, knowing full well what Robert needed—and it was the same thing as him.
“I need to kiss you. So long...for so long I’ve wanted to kiss you again, Steve. Please.”
“Yes, kiss me, fuck...” Steve clenched his fists, bunching Robert’s jacket. “Kiss me now.”

The Smell of Lust By K D Grace
Please welcome my great friend and fellow Brit Babe KD Grace to my blog today - keep reading, there's a prize too!
Good morning, Lily Harlem! It’s such a pleasure to be your guest celebrating the wonderful sense of smell and how it plays a central role in my latest novel, To Rome with Lust. It’s always so much fun to party with you!
It’s probably my own sensitive nose that inspired To Rome with Lust’s olfactory theme. Though my nose is nowhere nearly as sensitive as Liza Calendar’s, I find that smell is the sense that can most easily transport me into a memory or an experience or make me think about a person. I also wanted to write Liza and Paulo’s story because of my own very vivid memories of my husband’s wonderful scent, back in the early days when we were dating. One of my most powerful memories I have of him is the wonderful way he smelled when he took me into his arms. (Still does, of course, *blush, blush*)
I wrote a short story ages ago – one of my early publications – called Pheromones. I was intrigued by what might happen if we lived our lives through our sense of smell, like other mammals do. I loved the story, loved the way the main character’s world was dominated by her sense of smell, and I always wanted to revisit that idea of a world experienced through the sense of smell.
Hercules in the Republic Temple
To Rome with Lust was an ideal novel on which to get my olfactory jollies, since Rome is the home of Martelli Fragrance, owned by Rita Holly’s mother, Coraline Martelli, who plays an important roll in the 1st of the Mount novels, The Initiation of Ms Holly. It seemed a great place to introduce Liza Calendar and her magnificent nose.
One of the challenges of the novel was to write Liza’s point of view through the nose, so to speak. I’m used to writing emotions by how they feel – the cold chill of fear, the sweat of nerves, the tremble of excitement. I’m used to writing people’s reactions by how they look – a scowl, a smile, a leer. I’m used to writing the sounds of sex and the feel of sex, but what if someone experienced all of those things, the whole range of human interaction, in fact, through her nose? How would I write that? What does curiosity smell like? What would happen if you could actually smell the people having sex in the hotel room next to yours, or if you could smell the frustration of the person sitting on the tube next to you? What would happen if every person’s scent was like an inner portrait of them? And if even deceit had a scent, how could anyone ever fool you? How could you cope with a world so laid bare?
This is Liza Calendar’s world, in a nutshell, and when Paulo asks her what it’s like, her answer stuns him:
She looked up into his eyes and drew in a deep breath, which was a mistake because it brought with it the heat of his scent. ‘Would you enjoy making love to me if I smelled like rotting vegetation or wet garbage? How about if all you could smell on me was deceit? How about if the smell of me made your nose itch or made you sneeze uncontrollably? Would you still want to make love with me? Would you even be able to?’
Before he could do more that gape at her in surprise, she jerked her head toward a couple who had just passed them, hand in hand. ‘Those two,’ she whispered, ‘they just had sex here somewhere close by in the forum. She’s still wet from him, even though he tried to clean them both. He probably has a handkerchief or something because his right-hand pocket, when he brushed past me, smells strong of them. He’s smug, she’s uncertain of how she feels about what they’ve done. They smell like too much garlic fried in burnt butter. That man over there?’ She nodded to a man with a camera glaring into the reflecting pond. ‘I don’t know what he’s angry about, but he smells like mustard and wet dog. How easy do you think it is for me to have a love life when I live with this every day?’ She brushed the tip of her nose with her fingers.
Ville d'Este Gardens - inspiration for The Mount Villa
It was a challenge for me, as a writer, to think through my nose. It was a lot of fun, but I had to constantly ask myself when I was writing from Liza’s point of view, what would this experience smell like? What would these emotions smell like? What would fear, lust, anger, deceit smell like, and how would they smell different on each person. How would each person smell different? In a lot of ways it was like trying to write a story in a different language. I guess that’s exactly what I was doing. Writers of erotica spend a lot of time with the sense of sight and the sense of touch. I would guess all writers do, actually, but to focus on the sense of smell so completely has been both a challenge and a treat and has allowed me a very different view of my characters and how they interact with the world around them.
Here’s wishing you multiple orgasmic olfactory experiences. Smell you later ;-)
Blurb To Rome with Lust:
The adventure that Rita Holly began in The Mount in London and Nick Chase took up in Vegas continues when a sizzling encounter on a flight to Rome has journalist, Liza Calendar, and perfumer, Paulo ‘The Nose’ Delacour, in sexy olfactory heaven. The heir apparent of Martelli Fragrance, Paulo wants Liza’s magnificently sensitive nose to help develop Martelli’s controversial new line. Paulo has a secret weapon; Martelli Fragrance is the front for the original Mount, an ancient sex cult of which he is a part, and Paulo plans to use the scent of sex to enhance Martelli’s Innuendo line. As Liza and Paulo sniff out the scent of seduction, they become their own best lab rats. But when someone steals the perfume formulas and lays the blame at Liza’s feet, she and Paulo must sniff out the culprit and prove Liza’s innocence before more is exposed than just secret formulas.

Excerpt To Rome with Lust:
‘People are looking. We should stop.’ Liza barely got the words out before he leaned in just a tiny bit further and, in his enthusiasm, his lips brushed hers. Everything spiked in a sharp stab of scent that settled right between her legs, as they both gasped and sat back, eyes wide, fingers pressed to lips. A flight to Paris was called over the intercom immediately after one to Frankfurt and, in the jostling and shifting and gathering of belongings, no one was paying any attention to them. Though she wasn’t sure it would have made any difference even if they’d suddenly been center stage. Their gaze locked on each other, cheeks flushed, chests heaving, they sat locked in a moment so tight, so full that its breaking apart was inevitable. It was ridiculous. She was seconds away from coming, and his cock was about to burst his trousers and his lips, my god his lips, she could think of so many places on her body she wanted those lips.
‘I have to know,’ he gasped. ‘Surely you want to know too.’ Then he did the unthinkable. He curled his fingers into the back of her hair and pulled her to him. This time their lips met with a clash of teeth and a gasping swallow of oxygen that transitioned into parted lips and darting tongues and an absolute explosion of scent. If he had smelled amazing by himself, if his scent had sharpened hers to the cutting edge of orgasm, then the mixing and blending that happened when they touched, when those two scents came together was shattering. ‘I’ve never smelled anything like it,’ she breathed into his mouth.
‘Me neither,’ He bit her lower lip and tugged and their blended smell became darker, more spicy, tones of earth and sea, pepper and honey and my god the guy could kiss! She came first with a guttural grunt that began deep in her center and washed over her like a riptide. She tried desperately to hide it, but he knew it. He felt it, she even thought he smelled it, and he tightened his fist in her hair, breathing her into his open mouth. Both his hands then slid to her shoulders in a grip that was almost painful as he pulled back, his gaze locked on hers, and his whole body convulsed, and again, and again, his deep mocha gaze holding her tight as pupils dilated and eyelids shuddered. For a moment they sat stunned, staring at each other, struggling to catch their breath. He looked shell-shocked, and she must have looked at least as bad. ‘I’m sorry,’ they both said at the same time as they mirrored each other in a nervous laugh.
Then the intercom called the flight to Rome. ‘That’s my flight,’ she gasped, suddenly awash in a wave of embarrassment. She grabbed her bag and her laptop and fled, feeling certain everyone was watching, feeling certain everyone knew exactly what they had done. She left quickly, babbling on about duty free and gifts, sounding like a total idiot. It didn’t matter though, at the end of the day, she’d never see the man again. And she’d never smell him again. That saddened her.

Sunday Snog - Burning Rubber #newrelease #biker #erotica

Welcome to Sunday Snog! This week a bit of action from my new bad ass biker story Burning Rubber - available now from the publisher Totally Bound.

“No one will ever hurt you again,” he said, juddering out the deep breath he’d taken in. “Not while I walk this earth.” He smoothed his finger over my bruise then bent and touched his lips to it. “I promise.”His breath was warm on my skin and made me hunger for him all the more. A tremble went over my body and suddenly all I wanted was him inside me.“Let’s get naked,” he said. “I want to make you forget about all this shit that’s gone down.”“Yes,” I said, rubbing my thumb over his bottom lip. “Make me forget about everything but you.”A smug smile caught his mouth. “’Cause you know I can, darlin’.”He kissed me and pressed me back on the bed. I toed off my shoes and wriggled out of my jeans and knickers. Funny how the pain didn’t seem so bad when surrounded by Gid’s muscle and desire.Once naked, he sent his kisses down my neck to my breasts. As he suckled my nipples, small tugs and sucks that were so light they were barely there, I ran my hands over his shoulders. He was trembling slightly and I wondered if it was because he was having to restrain himself. He was a gung-ho lover, took what he wanted, but he knew I wasn’t up to that—not today. His thoughtfulness made me fall for him just a little bit more.
