Billions Wiped From Covid Pharma Heavyweights—Including Moderna, Regeneron, Merck—As Pfizer’s Antiviral Pill Triggers Selloff

Vaccine makers heavily invested in Covid-19 shots like Moderna, Novavax and BioNTech (which produces its vaccine with Pfizer) fared the worst, dropping 16.7%, 11.2% and 20.9%, respectively, after Pfizer’s announcement.
Bigger vaccine makers with more diverse pipelines like Johnson & Johnson and AstraZeneca took more modest hits, falling 0.7% and 1.2%, respectively.
The producers of other Covid-19 treatments were also down following Pfizer’s announcement, with Regeneron and Eli Lilly down 5.6% and 2.2%.
Shares for Merck, which produces the only antiviral pill approved to treat Covid-19 on the market, were also down 9.9% following Pfizer’s announcement.
Key BackgroundPfizer announced Friday it would stop enrolling new patients into its clinical trial for Paxlovid after an early analysis of trial data demonstrated the drug’s “overwhelming efficacy.” The company said the data suggests the pill, taken shortly after symptoms develop, cuts the risk of hospitalization or death from Covid-19 in high-risk patients by 89%. Paxlovid is on track to become the second antiviral Covid-19 pill on the market, following Merck’s molnupiravir, which was approved by British regulators in early November. Merck said trial data indicated molnupiravir halves the risk of hospitalization or death in high-risk groups. If approved, both pills would plug a large treatment gap for Covid-19, where there is a relative abundance of options to prevent infection or treat severe illness but few interventions for patients with mild illness outside hospital settings.
TangentMerck’s initial announcement of promising trial data for molnupiravir precipitated a similar collapse in the pharmaceutical stock market, particularly among vaccine makers heavily invested in Covid-19 shots. The announcement wiped $22 billion off Moderna’s market value by 11 a.m. EDT the same morning. More Covid-centric vaccine makers (Pfizer, Johnson & Johnson and AstraZeneca are much larger and have more diverse pipelines) like BioNTech and Novavax (whose Covid-19 vaccine is not approved in the U.S.) also fell 13% and 18%, respectively, at that time, around $12 billion in combined market value lost.
What To Watch ForWhen Pfizer has submitted data to regulators, they will consider whether to grant the drug emergency authorization. The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) is set to consider safety and efficacy data of Merck’s molnupiravir, which it developed with Ridgeback Biotherapeutics, at the end of November. If approved, molnupiravir would be the first antiviral pill to treat Covid-19 on the U.S. market. After failing to meet the primary endpoint in a clinical study, the antiviral pill being developed by Roche and Atea Pharmaceuticals—originally seen as a competitor to Merck and Pfizer’s products—is set to be tested in groups more at risk from Covid-19, rather than the mostly young and healthy participants from the original trial. Results aren’t expected until late 2022.

The financial economy and real economy used to live with each other happily: now they are in a long-distance relationship reliant on logistics to keep in touch. What happens when those logistics break down? (Very bad things, as I was discussing here the other day.)
We have covered the ocean-carrier side of this crisis (‘In Deep Ship’), and the new fee equivalent to $1m a day, and rising $1m each following day, for a 10,000 TEU vessel whose cargo is stuck in LA/LB port. However, we stressed in that report that the supply chain issue is more systematic. So, allow me to share quotes from an article exposing there is ‘No Trucking Way’ we are about to return to normal:
“Think of going to the port as going to WalMart on Black Friday, but imagine only ONE cashier for thousands of customers…Most port drivers are ‘independent contractors’, leased onto a carrier who is paying them by the load. Whether their load takes two hours, fourteen hours, or three days to complete, they get paid the same, and they have to pay 90% of their truck operating expenses…I honestly don’t understand how many of them can even afford to show up for work…In some cases they work 70 hour weeks and still end up owing money to their carrier.
So when the coastal ports started getting clogged up last spring due to the impacts of COVID on business everywhere, drivers started refusing to show up. Congestion got so bad that instead of being able to do three loads a day, they could only do one. They took a 2/3 pay cut and most of these drivers were working 12 hours a day or more…Many drivers simply quit. However, while the pickup rate for containers severely decreased, they were still being offloaded from the boats. And it’s only gotten worse…The ‘experts’ want to say we can do things like open the ports 24/7, and this problem will be over in a couple weeks. They are blowing smoke, and they know it.”
The author also points out a crippling shortage of truck chassis; warehouse workers, again due to low-pay and Covid, so unloading takes longer; and warns soon there will be less, not more truck drivers. Crucially, he bewails that ocean carriers, ports, trucking companies, warehouses, and retailers are all making great money – so won’t invest before the system collapses further. If so, this book-ends the 1980 deregulation of the US trucking industry under President Carter.
Meanwhile, Senator Manchin just said ‘No Trucking Way’ to the White House’s fiscal plans, again, which already fail to address the above logistical problems. Perhaps it’s time for US economists to study what weak, share-cropper logistics and on-off fiscal and central-bank liquidity largesse do for emerging markets’ macroeconomic and financial stability?

11 doctors seriously injured by covid injections speak out

Nearly a dozen physicians who were seriously injured by Wuhan coronavirus (Covid-19) “vaccines” are urging the government and other doctors to acknowledge the serious risks involved with taking these experimental drugs.
Eleven doctors represented by attorney Aaron Siri of the Siri Glimstad law firm want the shots to undergo a thorough investigation, and the results to be made public, so everyone can make an informed decision about whether or not to get injected.
“The harms they have been reporting are not redness at the injection site,” wrote Siri in a letter. “The harms are all serious.”
“To avoid future harms from this vaccine and to heal the doctors’ patients, and in some cases to heal themselves, research is critically needed to understand how the Covid-19 vaccine is causing these harms,” he added.
For the past year, Siri Glimstad has been actively fighting covid jab mandates across the country. It is now calling on the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA), the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) to take action.
If they refuse, Siri is planning to pursue legal action against all of these federal agencies to force them to do the right thing for once rather than continue to operate on behalf of Big Pharma. (RELATED: Nearly all of the FDA’s vaccine advisory committee members have financial ties to the pharmaceutical industry.)
How many more people need to become injured or die before this charade ends?In his letter to numerous high-ranking public health leaders at the HHS, CDC and FDA, Siri attached signed declarations from each of the 11 vaccine-injured doctors describing in detail their various respective reactions to the shots.
Among the side effects reported are small fiber neuropathy, constant muscle shakiness, paresthesia, tinnitus, difficult balancing, chronic fatigue, menstrual cycle irregularities, hair loss, persistent numbness and tingling in the hands, weakness and cognitive impairment.
Siri says that each of these injuries has been confirmed as an outcome “based on the clinical judgment of the patient’s treating physician, as being caused by a Covid-19 vaccine.”
He also noted that their respective experiences post-injection are not isolated events but rather accumulating evidence that continues to grow in opposition to the government’s claim that the shots are “safe and effective.”
As it turns out, only a very small percentage of vaccine-related injuries and deaths are reported to the government’s Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System (VAERS). Because of this, tracking real-world injuries caused by vaccination is difficult.
A Harvard Pilgrim Health Care study that tracked 715,000 patients over the course of three years found that “fewer than 1% of vaccine adverse events are reported” to VAERS.
Based on these and other revelations, Siri wrote in his letter that something must be done “with the utmost urgency on behalf of physicians from across the country.”
One of the doctors who says she was one of the first people to get injected now suffers from small fiber neuropathy as a result. She says she lost her “pinprick and temperature sensation of bilateral extremities” and also has “a constant shakiness to muscles upon movement.”
Prior to getting the jab, this person was “extremely healthy and very active.” As a medical expert herself, she says she has “no doubt that my medical symptoms were caused by the vaccine.”
Another of the doctors, a gastroenterologist and board-certified medical doctor who retired last year, says she “suffered a life-threatening and life-altering severe reaction 30 minutes after receiving the first dose of the Pfizer Covid-19 vaccine.”

Nearly 50,000 breakthrough COVID cases have been reported in Arizona. How come?
By: Heidi GoitiaABC15.comFour of the largest hospital systems in the Valley — Honor Health, Banner Health, Valleywise Health, and Dignity Health — all report that more than 90% of their staff have received the COVID-19 vaccine, complying with each hospitals’ mandate and Nov. 1 deadline.
Those who do not comply with the deadline and do not receive an exemption will either be terminated or have to resign.
It comes at the same time that confirmed COVID-19 cases continue to be reported in Arizona — more breakthrough cases from those who are considered to be fully vaccinated — and some health experts are taking note.
According to health experts ABC15 spoke to, they said breakthrough cases most commonly happen when the vaccines’ effectiveness begins to wane before people have received the third “booster” shot. Currently, that booster has been recommended for older populations or those considered to have higher health risk.
A large number of those breakthrough cases seem to be happening with people who received the Pfizer vaccine, which was available at all of the state-sponsored vaccination sites throughout the state, such as State Farm Stadium, Arizona State University, and a distribution warehouse in Gilbert.
According to ADHS data, there have been 49,962 confirmed breakthrough cases involving people who received the COVID-19 vaccine in Arizona. Of those, 376 people have died, though it does not specify cause of death.
Of those breakthrough cases, 29,857 received the Pfizer vaccine, 14,553 received the Moderna vaccine, and 5,552 received the single-shot Johnson & Johnson vaccine.

Changes defintion of COVID death from ‘with COVID’ to ‘by COVID’.
The Italian Higher Institute of Health has drastically reduced the country’s official COVID death toll number by over 97 per cent after changing the definition of a fatality to someone who died from COVID rather than with COVID.
Italian newspaper Il Tempo reports that the Institute has revised downward the number of people who have died from COVID rather than with COVID from 130,000 to under 4,000.
“Yes, you read that right. Turns out 97.1% of deaths hitherto attributed to Covid were not due directly to Covid,” writes Toby Young.
Of the of the 130,468 deaths registered as official COVID deaths since the start of the pandemic, only 3,783 are directly attributable to the virus alone.
“All the other Italians who lost their lives had from between one and five pre-existing diseases. Of those aged over 67 who died, 7% had more than three co-morbidities, and 18% at least two,” writes Young.
“According to the Institute, 65.8% of Italians who died after being infected with Covid were ill with arterial hypertension (high blood pressure), 23.5% had dementia, 29.3% had diabetes, and 24.8% atrial fibrillation. Add to that, 17.4% had lung problems, 16.3% had had cancer in the last five years and 15.7% suffered from previous heart failures.”
The Institute’s new definition of a COVID death means that COVID has killed fewer people in Italy than (whisper it) the average bout of seasonal flu.
If a similar change were made by other national governments, the official COVID death toll would be cut by a margin of greater than 90 per cent.
Don’t expect many others to follow suit though, given that governments have invested so much of their authority in hyping the the threat posed by the virus.
For example, behavioral psychologists in the UK worked with the state to deliberately “exaggerate” the threat of COVID via “unethical” and “totalitarian” methods of propaganda in order to terrify the public into mass compliance.

This documentary explores the failure of the Western public health bureaucracy (chiefly the USDA, the American Diabetes Association and the American Heart Association) to address more than 60 years of peer reviewed research showing that the low fat, high carbohydrate diet is responsible for a global epidemic of type 2 diabetes, heart disease and other obesity-linked conditions.
Thanks to the “heart healthy” food pyramid, which recommends a diet consisting of more than 50% carbohydrates, 75% of Americans are overweight or obese, one out of three US children is overweight or obese and 25% of potential US military recruits are rejected because they are obese or overweight.
The documentary focuses on the work a half dozen doctors and dieticians who have successfully reversed type II diabetes (ie eliminated their need for insulin) by replacing their low fat diet to one consisting of 75% fat, 20% protein and 5% carbohydrate.
In switching to a high fat low carbohydrate (aka ketogenic) diet, all patients ceased to experience spikes and dips in their blood sugar. With a more stable blood sugar, they all felt less hungry, ate less and experienced significant weight loss.
In addition to examining the peer reviewed research supporting the ketogenic diet as a treatment for type 2 diabetes,* the filmmakers also explain why saturated animal fats are much healthier for you than vegetable oils. During production, the immense heat required to extract vegetable oils from seeds oxidizes it to create free radicals. The latter are linked both to cancer and the chronic inflammation** associated with heart disease.
The film also examines the shameless role played by sugar and vegetable manufacturers in lobbying the USDA, the American Diabetes Association, the American Heart Association and other public health institutions to ignore 60 years of research debunking the “heart healthy” low fat diet.
* One study shows it’s equally as effective as bariactric (stomach stapling) surgery for weight loss.

From New Zealand Gang Leaders PSA Urges Members to Get Covid Vaccine
Seven leaders across four prominent posses are featured in a new campaign video to see their ranks get vaccinated against the coronavirus, the New Zealand Herald reported on Tuesday.
The public service announcement was commissioned by the minister for Maori development, Willie Jackson, with the help of his son, producer Hikurangi Jackson, who asked gang leaders to make videos encouraging fellow gang members — and those otherwise interested in their cause — to get vaccinated.
The 4-minute video featured Denis O’Reilly of the Black Power gang, who said he’s “taken a few shots” since he joined at 19-years-old — including two doses of the COVID-19 vaccine — and asked his community “to do the same.”
“This is not all about gangs — this is all about our whānau [family],” said Harry Tam of the Mongrel Mob in the clip. “One thing we need to be clear about is that this is not about the government telling us; it is about the experts telling the government, that is getting us to vaccinate to protect ourselves
Another Mongrel Mob member, Dennis Makalio, told viewers that getting vaccinated was a “no-brainer” for him.
At a total population of 5.08 million, New Zealand’s current outbreak hovers at around 3,600 cases — 70% of which come from native peoples, despite the fact that they are a minority in the country at just 27% of the population. The Guardian reported on Tuesday that 72% of eligible Maori have had one dose of the Pfizer vaccine, while 85% of Pasifika have achieved the same.
The prevalence of the disease among those groups has prompted health officials to grant gang leaders special essential-worker status, allowing them to reach out to their communities more effectively.

As a grandfather and uncle, Black Power’s Michael Te Pou participated in the campaign “for our tamariki [children] and our mokopuna [grandchildren],” he declared.

Vaccine-Injured Speak Out, Feel Abandoned by Government Who Told Them COVID Shot Was Safe
During an event hosted Tuesday by U.S. Sen. Ron Johnson (R-Wis.), people whose lives were ruined by COVID vaccines said they feel abandoned by a government that told them it was their patriotic duty to get the shot.
U.S. Sen. Ron Johnson (R-Wis.) on Tuesday held a discussion with a panel of experts, including clinicians, scientists, lawyers and patient advocates, and with people injured by COVID vaccines, who gave powerful testimonies about their experiences.
Johnson and the expert panel discussed the importance of early treatment for COVID, healthcare freedom and natural immunity, the impacts of mandates on the American workforce and the economy, COVID vaccine safety concerns and the lack of transparency from federal health agencies in response to his COVID oversight requests.
None of the major mainstream media outlets picked up the event, but Children’s Health Defense hosted Johnson’s live panel discussion on CHD.TV.
Cody Flint [57.20], a 33-year-old airline pilot from Cleveland, Mississippi, was among those who spoke out about their injuries. Flint was healthy and had no underlying health conditions prior to receiving Pfizer’s COVID vaccine.
Within 30 minutes of getting his first dose on Feb. 1, Flint developed a severe stabbing headache that later became a burning sensation in the back of his neck.
Two days later, he got into his airplane to do a job and quickly realized something wasn’t right.
Flint explained:
“I was starting to develop tunnel vision and my headache was getting worse. Approximately two hours into my flying I pulled my airplane up to turn around and felt an extreme burst of pressure in my ears. Instantly I was nearly blacked out, dizzy, disoriented, nauseous and shaking uncontrollably. By the grace of God I was able to land my plane without incident, though I do not remember doing this.
“My initial diagnosis of vertigo and a severe panic attack — although I’ve never had a history of either of these — was later replaced with left and right perilymphatic fistula, eustachian tube dysfunction and elevated intracranial pressure due to brain swelling. My condition continued to decline and my doctors told me only an adverse reaction to the Pfizer vaccination or major head trauma could have caused this much spontaneous damage.”
Flint underwent numerous spinal taps and two surgeries to address the fistulas and intracranial pressure. He said he has more questions than answers, does not know if he will ever be able to fly a plane again, lost a year of his life and part of his children’s lives.
“This vaccine has taken my career from me, and the future I have worked so hard to build,” Flint said. “I used all my savings just to pay medical bills just to be able to survive. My family is on the verge of losing everything we have.”
Flint, who is pro-science and pro-vaccine, said the main issue rests squarely on the fact that the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA), Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and NIH (National Institutes of Health) refuse to acknowledge that real lives are being absolutely destroyed by this vaccine.
“The federal government has yet to help a single one of the vaccine-injured,” Flint said. “It was my understanding the federal government accepted the responsibility of helping people injured by vaccines, considering they gave pharmaceutical companies fully legal immunity from people like me.”
Flint said it is time for the government to stop silencing vaccine injuries like his, and it is unconscionable for these agencies not to help.
Lt. Col. Theresa Long [101:00], a U.S. Army surgeon, said she believes the COVID vaccine is a greater threat to a soldier’s health and military readiness than the virus itself.
“Over 200,000 service members have rejected the vaccine yet the military is pressing forward without regard to the damage to the morale and readiness to process these soldiers out,” Long said. “We have never lost 200,000 soldiers on the battlefield in a few months. Taking soldiers out of uniform has the same impact on readiness as losing them on the battlefield.”

COVID-19 sweeps through DOUBLE VAXXED men’s hockey league!

They were spirited and eager as they gathered at the Newmarket hockey rink, a league of older men, all double-vaccinated and keen to finally get back to a sport they’d put on ice since the start of the pandemic.
Now they are recovering from COVID-19, one of their teammates dead, wondering if this tragedy could have been averted.
“It’s just strange,” mused Brian Dunn, of Thornhill. “15 guys who played separate nights, different change rooms, days apart, one tragic death. We vacillate between absolutely pissed off and sad … I lost my best friend.”
Dunn knows for certain only what happened to him when he returned to play with the Midas 3-on-3 league Sept. 30.
The over-50 league plays Mondays and Thursdays at the Stellar Drive rink: four teams, eight players each, play two games each evening on one of the two modified ice pads.
The league had just resumed play Sept. 27 after the pandemic shut things down in March 2020.
Dunn did not play that first day, but he was on the ice Thursday as was his buddy, Garry Weston, of Oro-Medonte, who sat beside him in the dressing room.
It was a chance to get back to “normal” — and it felt that way until Sunday, when the sore throat and headaches began.
On Tuesday, Dunn said, Weston tested positive for COVID-19 and on Wednesday, his own results came back positive.
Turns out, some of the other players had also been feeling ill, and several who’d played on the Monday night were sick, too.
Craig Adlam, one of the league organizers, said news of the COVID-19 outbreak began trickling in from players who had been on the ice Sept. 27, 30 and Oct. 4.
“I suggested we pull the plug on this before it goes any further,” he said. Play shut down for two weeks.
York Region Public Health spokesperson Patrick Casey confirmed an outbreak was declared Oct. 8 with 15 cases to date — 13 residents in York Region and two from Simcoe.
“At least 10 of the guys were basically bedridden for most of the time,” Adlam said. “It wasn’t just like sniffles or anything like that.”
In some cases, players tested negative and later, positive. Some spouses also caught the virus; in other cases, entire families became ill, he said.
Because many of the men play with multiple groups, three more Newmarket-Aurora leagues that play elsewhere in York Region shut down as the virus spread: the 5-on-5 leagues for over 35, over 50, and over 60s, Adlam said.
“People are getting a false impression, ‘I’m double-vaxxed … nothing can happen to me’ and as we can see, in our league 30 per cent got infected … And, unfortunately, Garry took the brunt of it.”
“Most of the guys got through their symptoms without any lingering effects, which is what you hope for with the vaccine,” said Dunn. “But with Garry, it was unbelievable. It went sideways for him very quickly.”
On Oct. 20, his daughter, Krista Weston, posted on Facebook: “Garry had a severe stroke while fighting the pneumonia caused by COVID. As a family and in respect of his wishes, he will be removed from life support.”
