‘Freedom Convoys’ gaining steam across Europe

Truckers in France are reportedly planning to emulate the Canadian ‘Freedom Convoy’ by mobilizing groups of big rigs to protest vaccine mandates and other Covid-19 restrictions set by Paris. According to a BFM TV report, demonstrators plan to “paralyze” the French capital next week before joining a wider “European convergence” in Brussels.
The outlet reported that a leaflet announcing the ‘Freedom Convoy France’ has been circulated on social media networks, calling on “citizens” to “recover their freedom, their fundamental rights, unconditional access to care, education, and culture, respect for the essential values of our Constitution.” It also noted that the truckers in “Canada [had] paved the way for us.”
After final preparations on Monday and Tuesday, the convoy will set off in three waves from across France – with those furthest from Paris setting off on Wednesday, according to an itinerary on the leaflet. All three waves are expected to reach the national capital Friday evening. On Sunday, the convoy is slated to leave and “join our European friends” in Brussels.
The BFM TV report noted that a Facebook group, called ‘Le convoi de la liberte’, had been created on January 26 and reached nearly 197,000 members. The outlet said the convoy may reinvigorate protests against vaccination passes, which have apparently been flagging [???] in recent weeks.
In addition, the report pointed to a ‘World Freedom Convoy’ group that has been set up on Telegram. This is thought to include demonstrators from Germany, Italy, and Croatia, among others. The Bruzz news outlet in Belgium reported on Thursday that some 40,000 people had joined the group within the past week – with the focus on free speech and the right to make one’s own health choices.
According to Bruzz news, the truck drivers hope to head toward their respective capital cities starting Monday before heading on to Brussels. The outlet noted that it was unclear how many would actually take part, but added that police were monitoring the situation.
Meanwhile, The Guardian reported that a Facebook group of US truckers called ‘Convoy to DC 2022’, who planned to drive to Washington, DC next month, had gained more than 100,000 members before being deleted by Meta. The organizers have reportedly since moved to Telegram, where over 28,000 have joined.

Canada Province Vows to end Covid restrictions from Feb 7th, others to follow, as Freedom movement escalates
Other Canadian provinces are expected to also quickly abandon illogical measures retained and expanded for social control.
Major protests of millions of people over vaccination requirements for long-haul truck drivers are continuing and growing despite an attempted media blackout worldwide.

Saskatchewan province has had only 1,000 fatalities since pandemic began. And most of them were âco-morbiditiesâ. Deaths from âjust Omicronâ are near zero around the planet, and fear-mongering campaigns for vaccine boosters have only shown that they are little or zero effective.
Police forces have tacitly tolerated the Freedom Convoys and yesterday Ottawa denied that âunreliableâ military forces will be called in (3rd Feb).

In addition to dropping the remaining restrictions, beginning February 7th, Saskatchewan province will limit access to PCR testing to âpriority populations,â, according to interim Health Authority chief Derek Miller.
Other Canadian provinces are expected to also quickly abandon illogical measures retained and expanded for social control.

‘Vaccine Mania’: Fauci, Big Pharma Detail Plans for ‘Indefinite’ Rollout of Shots

At a virtual meeting held the first day of the World Economic Forum’s Davos Agenda 2022, Moderna CEO Stéphane Bancel and colleagues, including Dr. Anthony Fauci, detailed their plans for “vaccine mania” to persist indefinitely.
Story at-a-glance:At a virtual meeting held the first day of the World Economic Forum’s (WEF) Davos Agenda 2022, Moderna CEO Stéphane Bancel and colleagues, including Dr. Anthony Fauci, detailed their plans for “vaccine mania” to persist indefinitely.Moderna is actively working with “Fauci’s team” to create a new shot for fall 2022. Moderna is also developing an Omicron-specific jab that they hope to release as early as March 2022.Moderna is planning to combine multiple shots, such as a COVID-19 shot, a flu shot and a respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) shot, into one injection — coming in 2023 — to help avoid “compliance issues.”An agreement between Pfizer and BioNTech to develop the first mRNA shingles vaccine was reached in January 2022.Additional shots are in development to target HIV, zika virus, Nipah virus, cancer, respiratory syncytial virus (RSV), cytomegalovirus (CMV), Epstein-Barr virus, influenza (mRNA) and more. Many experts have sounded the alarm that the COVID-19 pandemic was all about the shot and a larger agenda to impose totalitarian control worldwide. Already, one shot has turned into two doses and a third booster.
A fourth booster is also being discussed, including by Moderna CEO Stéphane Bancel, who said that the efficacy of the third shot is likely to decline over several months, necessitating another shot soon thereafter.
“I will be surprised when we get that data in the coming weeks that it’s holding nicely over time — I would expect that it’s not going to hold great,” Bancel said in an interview with Goldman Sachs.
Conveniently, Moderna is working on an Omicron-specific jab that they hope to release as early as March 2022 — and this is only the beginning.
Writing on Substack, contributor Eugyppius explained:
“Moderna, just one of multiple pharmaceuticals eager to exploit our new vaccine mania, are expanding their manufacturing capacity to produce as many as 6 billion mRNA vaccine doses per year.”
The information came straight from the horse’s mouth, at a virtual meeting held the first day of the World Economic Forum’s (WEF) Davos Agenda 2022, at a session titled “COVID-19: What’s Next?”
Along with Bancel, the meeting was attended by Dr. Anthony Fauci, director of the U.S. National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID), Richard Hatchett, CEO of the Coalition for Epidemic Preparedness Innovations, and professor Annelies Wilder-Smith from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, who together detailed their plans for “vaccine mania” to persist indefinitely.
Combined shots planned to avoid ‘compliance issues’
During the discussion, Bancel states that Moderna is actively preparing for “what should the vaccine be in the fall of 2022, and what should it contain.” The company is “working with public health experts like Fauci’s team to figure this out. Because soon we’re going to have to decide what goes into the vaccine for fall of 2022,” he said (6.25).
Fauci’s NIAID is part of the U.S. National Institutes of Health (NIH), which, some may be surprised to learn, actually owns half the patent for Moderna’s COVID-19 injection.
In fact, the NIH owns thousands of pharmaceutical patents, and the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention spends $4.9 billion a year out of its $12 billion budget buying and distributing vaccines.
“Tony Fauci was able to choose, to designate, four of his high-level employees who each get individual patent shares,” according to Robert F. Kennedy Jr. in an interview with James Corbett. “They will collect $150,000 a year for life if the Moderna vaccine is approved, which it has been.” (8:31)

As Workers Resist, the Left Recoils
Sunday, 30 January, 2022 â the bellows“By making social and economic participation contingent upon the taking of a speedily-developed medical product, average members of the global labor force are being placed in a dehumanizing positionâeither participate in the worldâs largest clinical trial, or be cast into a life of social alienation and privation. Resistance to these vaccine mandates has been expressed through walkouts, picketing, coordinated sickouts, mass resignations, and most recently in Canada, massive truck convoys.”
That recent working class anti-vaccine mandate protests have been met with either silence or derision from the Left speaks volumes about their allegiances.
by Edwin Aponte

If you consider yourself on the political Left, you might be forgiven for not knowing very much about the many acts of worker resistance against the COVID-19 vaccination mandates that have taken place all around the world over the last year. This is because the professional Left media and activist classâwhile happy to cover traditional strike action over union contract disputes, such as with last yearâs John Deere Company and the more recent Kroger strike in the United Statesâhave completely ignored comparable labor struggles undertaken by working people over an issue which defies contemporary cultural associations; leaping over most racial, gender, and social divisions.

Trudeau Demands Truckers Get Vaccinated Like He Did So They Don’t Catch COVID Like He Did
Babylon Bee
OTTAWAâAs truckers continue to march on Canada’s capital to very politely ask for their human rights back, Trudeau is doubling down on his position. In a fiery speech this week, Trudeau demanded truckers follow his example and get vaccinated like he did, so they don’t catch COVID like he did.
“Listen, I have COVID right now, and trust meâyou don’t want this,” said Trudeau in his classic Trudeau girly voice. “I know you all are all deplorable evil disgusting racists, and there’s no avoiding that. But if you would just get the jab like me, you could at least avoid COVIDâsomething I was unable to do.”
With the COVID infection ravaging his thrice-vaccinated body, Trudeau will remain in quarantine, deep in a hole in the ground in an undisclosed location until he has fully recovered, or until the truckers all go homeâwhichever comes last.
“Be smart, trust the science, and get jabbed, you disgusting racists, it’s the right thing to do,” said Trudeau before coughing uncontrollably into his sleeve and crying.

The Birth of the Northern Abolitionist Movement.
Episode 10: Arguments for and Against Slavery
A New History of the American South
Dr Edward Ayers (2018)
Film Review
Ayers begins by describing the failure of Congress to pass the 1820 Talmadge Amendment. The latter would have prevented the transport of new slaves to the state of Missouri and the enslavement of children born to Missouri slaves. Additionally it would have free existing slaves 25 and older. Talmadge proposed the legislation during an aggressive campaign by northern abolitionists to prevent the spread of slavery to western territories. The evangelical movement, which flourished as much in the North as the South, inspired a large number of northerners to battle political corruption as a Christian duty. In the 1820s and 1830s, the main issues they took on were alcohol prohibition and the abolition of slavery.
The American concept of North and South first arose from these heated debates over Missouri’s status. In fact by 1820, there was already talk of southern states seceding from the United States.
In the end, Congress agreed on the Missouri Compromise. This prohibited slavery in all Louisiana Purchase territories above the 36th parallel. Thus it continued in Missouri and Arkansas and was prohibited in Iowa, Minnesota, Wisconsin, the Dakotas, Nebraska and Kansas. However the law also required that any slaves who escaped to free states be returned to their masters.
A key figure in the ongoing Northern abolition movement was William Lloyd Garrison, the editor of the first newspapers dedicated to the prohibition of alcohol and the abolition of slavery. Two hundred separate abolitionist societies emerged in the 1830s, with an initial focus of persuading religious leaders to take up the anti-slavery issue. There were numerous postal campaigns, thanks to technological innovations that lowered the cost of printing. One million anti-slavery leaflets were sent by mail in 1834-35. Southern slaveholders, convinced the campaign would encourage slave rebellions, issued a $12,000 reward for the capture of wealthy Northern merchant Arthur Tappan (who funded the postal campaign). They also organized southern mobs to seize sacks of mail and burned them in the street.
At first abolitionists also inspired northern riots when they spoke in public. One mob dragged Garrison through the streets of Boston at the end of a rope. Several northern abolitionist churches were bombed.
Pro-slavery arguments put forward by southern intellectuals included claims that slavery provided the firm economic base allowing the first American colonies to declare independence; that slavery should be allowed to slowly die out on its own; that Africans were innately inferior to whites; and that whites were the heirs of glorious ancients civilizations (Greek, Roman, Teutonic, Angle, Saxon and Highland Scots) and had a unique capacity for the domination of dark skinned people.
Any southerner who spoke out against slavery ran the risk of being tarred and feathered or lynched.
Ayers divides 19th century southern intellectual movements into the Late Enlightenment phase (1810-1835), the Romantic phase (1830-1855)Â and the Bleak Phase (after 1855).* The 19th century saw the construction of numerous Southern universities (by slaves) as the Southern elite became increasingly reluctant to send their children to northern universities that might expose them to abolitionist concepts.
*The Late Enlightenment phase embraced an individualistic attitude towards life that was wary of human passion. Thomas Jefferson was part of this tradition when he warned about the danger of of abolitionist ideas and helped found the University of Virginia as a safe place for the children of Southern gentry to be educated. The Romantic phase (Edgar Allan Poe it chief representative was more sentimental and promoted the pleasure of belonging. The Bleak intellectual tradition promoted the belief that most men had to choose between having God, power or belonging.

12 Countries Roll Back COVID Restrictions, Israel Scraps âGreen Passâ

Sweden and Switzerland joined Denmark, Norway, Finland, Ireland, The Netherlands, Italy, Lithuania, France and the UK in announcing they will lift COVID restrictions and open up their countries.
Europe is accelerating steps to roll back COVID restrictions as efforts to control the spread of the virus have failed and countries downgrade the threat posed by SARS-CoV-2.
Sweden and Switzerland joined Denmark, Norway, Finland, Ireland, The Netherlands, Italy, Lithuania, France and the UK in announcing they will lift COVID restrictions and open up their countries.
Top Israeli officials also announced this week they are abolishing the countryâs âGreen Passâ COVID vaccine passport for restaurants, hotels, gyms and theaters.
The policy update will take effect Feb. 6, Prime Minister Naftali Bennetâs government said, pending approval by a parliamentary committee. Israelâs proof-of-vaccination policy will remain in effect for events such as parties or weddings.
âTo continue the green pass in the same way can create false assurances,â said Nadav Davidovitch, an epidemiologist and public health physician advising Prime Minister Naftali Bennetâs government. âItâs not reducing infections in closed spaces like theatres. It needs to be used mainly for high-risk places like hospitals, elderly care homes, or events when you are eating and singing and dancing.â
Sweden will lift all COVID restrictions by Feb. 9, the Swedish government said today.
According to Politico, the Swedish Public Health Agency said it reassessed COVID as ânot being socially criticalâ due to a better understanding of the Omicron variant, which is milder and associated with fewer hospitalizations.
âItâs time to open up Sweden,â said Prime Minister Magdalena Andersson. âThe pandemic isnât over, but it is moving into a new phase.â
The decision to open Sweden came a day after Switzerland, citing high immunity levels and the milder Omicron variant, announced it will abolish mandatory work-from-home and the quarantine rules beginning today.
The government also will lift health measures at the borders and tourists will no longer need to receive Swiss COVID certificates.
The Swiss government said it planned to phase out other restrictions after consulting with 26 cantons, employers, trade unions and parliamentary committees.
In two weeks, the government will determine the next steps to relax pandemic measures depending on the health situation, according to an official statement.
Options include a staggered exit strategy or an abrupt end to all COVID measures on Feb. 17.

Biden Moves To Block Student Debt Victory

Despite increasing pressure to fulfill a campaign promise to forgive student debt, President Joe Biden is now going in the opposite direction: His administration has taken an initial step to try to overturn a key legal victory for borrowers, according to court filings reviewed by The Daily Poster.
If the administration wins an appeal, it could bolster a legal precedent against millions of debtors being crushed by bankruptcy laws that Biden infamously helped his finance industry donors sculpt during his four decades in Washington.
On January 14, a federal judge in Bidenâs home state of Delaware moved to eliminate nearly $100,000 in student loan debt held by a 35-year-old epileptic man. In response, the Justice Department filed a notice of appeal in the case on behalf of Education Secretary Miguel Cardona.
If Biden officials now follow through with a fully formed appeal, they would not only be aiming to keep this man overwhelmed with debt, but also moving to solidify a legal interpretation that could preclude even the most beleaguered student debtors from getting relief through bankruptcy courts.
âIn light of the administrationâs commitment to reforming the process for student loan borrowers in bankruptcy, it is both surprising and disappointing to see that they appear to be backtracking,â Dan Zibel, Vice President and Chief Counsel for the National Student Legal Defense Network, a nonprofit that represents students in cases related to education and student debt, told The Daily Poster. âWith bipartisan calls to lower the bar for borrowers seeking relief from student loans in bankruptcy, the Department should not be arguing in court to raise that bar.â
The legal maneuver comes more than six years after the Obama administration called on Congress to make it easier for some borrowers to discharge their student loans through bankruptcy.
Over the last four decades, Biden has led the fight against initiatives to reduce student debt. As a senator from Delaware, Biden sculpted the laws that have made it so difficult for Americans to reduce their student debts in bankruptcy court.
On the presidential campaign trail, Biden appeared ready to take a new position on the matter. He promised to make it easier for people to reduce their student debt through bankruptcy proceedings, and to âimmediately cancel a minimum of $10,000 of student debt per person.â
But instead of doing so, his Justice Department is moving to further entrench legal precedent against borrowers.
âHis Inability To Pay His Student Loan Debt Will PersistâIn the Delaware case, a bankruptcy judge found that Ryan Wolfson, who held nearly $100,000 in student loan debt, faced âundue hardshipâ due to the debt and eliminated all of it. According to the lawsuit, Wolfson graduated from Penn State in 2010 and struggled to find full-time employment. In 2019, while Wolfson was working full-time driving for Uber, Lyft, and Grubhub, he suffered a seizure while driving and totaled his vehicle.
âThe evidence shows that, despite considerable effort, Wolfson has been chronically un- or underemployed since graduating from college; that his sporadic full-time employment has consisted of low-paying gig work or jobs with little prospect of advancement; and that he has avoided living in abject poverty only through significant financial support from his father,â the judge wrote in her opinion. âThe record further shows that Wolfson’s career prospects are unlikely to materially improve over time, and thus, his inability to pay his student loan debt will persist.â
