Russian Rocket Hits Poland:

Whenever something happens which could cause a world war – whether it’s a Chinese bioweapon that escaped from a Chinese lab in Wuhan, or a lonely Russian rocket that couldn’t find it’s way in this wonderful world … EXPECT LIES.

Most likely what happened is: A Russian rocket was targeting a Ukrainian electrical transmission tower, overshot the target, landed in Poland, and killed two people. Maybe that rocket was hit by a Ukrainian missile, maybe not THE FIRST CASUALTY OF WAR IS TRUTH. There is no way an anti-aircraft rocket could have caused the crater presented as the consequence of the “stray” rocket. This “stray” rocket might be a Russian provocation: even if it were, the correct move is to take the cover story. Russia denies anything happened at all. The USA says, well, that team SUCKS at keeping secrets, which is why we are here.

A stray Russian rocket hit and killed two people in Poland. Who wants world war three? Expect lies beyond that.

Ukraine implications? The USA contra Zeihan isn’t going to walk away from 75+ years of world building into neo-isolationism. The liberal free trading rules based world order isn’t going anywhere. FONOPS and anti-piracy operations shall continue. No famines, no surge in pirates, Zeihan’s predictions are wrong. Instead the USA will do offshore balancing. Basically Zeihan confuses a smart rejection of “nation building” with neo-isolationism. He doesn’t even use the correct terms (nation-building, offshore balancing, neo-isolationism) because he’s basically a showman with good marketing. Though, I suspect his MARKET analysis esp. of petroleum markets and probably also of agriculture is good. But when it comes to military analysis and political predictions like I said from day 1: UKRAINE WILL WIN
THIS ENDS WITH PUTIN DEAD OR IN THE DOCKET FOR WAR CRIMES
THE U.S. LED RULES BASED WORLD ORDER ISN’T GOING TO COLLAPSE
No pirate surge, no famines, and nope the USA isn’t going to tuck turtle and just walk away from the world it spent 75 years, trillions of dollars, and tens of thousands of lives building.
But his market predictions might be accurate!
