Do You Have A Plan?
*Talk with your family, friends, and partners about who is willing to be an emergency contact for you. Try to have more than one.
*Have a plan for how to get to the doctor or the hospital. Also set up plans with the people you know in case you need help getting there. Try to have at least 5 people who can help.
*Know the location and phone numbers of all the hospitals in your area.
*If you have pets, have a plan for who will care for them if you are ill and in the hospital.
*Have Emergency Contact information in your wallet and on your fridge. Write “Emergency Contact” on a card and below that put the name, address, and phone number of your emergency contact or contacts. Keep this card in your wallet. Also have this information posted on your fridge in large, easy to read letters. Declutter your fridge so that your emergency contact information is the only thing on it, and can be seen clearly. Have more than one emergency contact on your list, if you can.
*Make a medical information list and keep it in your wallet at all times. Also have copies of this list in your bag, on your phone, and on your fridge. The list should include the following:
1. Your full name
2. Your birth date
3. Any current medications you take
4. Any allergies you have. List serious allergies first, along with allergies to materials that emergency responders may use such as latex.
5. Chronic medical conditions you have, such as diabetes, heart disease, high blood pressure, epilepsy, etc.
6. Your doctor’s name and work phone number
*If you have pets, have a pet information list, including the number of pets in the house, what kind of animals they are, their names, and whether they have any specific dietary, medical, or care needs. Keep a copy of this with your emergency contact and medical information lists.
*If you think you are showing symptoms, keep a log of the date and time they started and keep it updated with new symptoms. Note whether they’re getting worse or better along with dates and times. Keep this on your phone. It can help you see if you’re getting worse, and it also helps the doctors know how long you have been feeling ill and what your symptoms are, without them needing to talk to you. Email this information to your emergency contacts if you are able.
*Have a bag prepared to bring with you to the doctor’s office or the hospital. It should have basic things that you will need, including your wallet with ID, a bottle of water, Tylenol, clean underwear and socks stored in a zip lock bag, and your medical information list and emergency contact list.
*Remember that having a plan doesn’t mean you will need to use it, but it means you’ll be ready in case something does happen. It never hurts to be safe and prepared.
It will be OK

Can you draw one better than me? If you do not have a thing on...

Can you draw one better than me? If you do not have a thing on the computer to draw you can use Picmonkey.com as that is what I did.
Also, as you can see I cannot draw to save my life.
