A Great Hamster of Alsace is seen at a breeding centre dedicated to the reintroduction of the specimen in Hunawihr, eastern France. France is failing in its duty to protect the Great Hamster of Alsace, a cute fur-ball facing extinction with fewer than 200 remaining, the advocate-general of Europe's top court said, after the European Commission brought the case, arguing that France has not applied European Union law covering protected species.

Hugo Weaving as Lord Burkhalter.
Now it is time to cast the villain of Blood In The Skies, the dreaded Lord Burkhalter. Burkhalter is a survivor and a visionary, and in his mind that makes his goal of world domination not only justified but necessary. Exiled from his native St. Corbin for heresy, he now seeks to remake the world to suit his vision of mechanical perfection. I can think of no better actor for the job than the incomparable Hugo Weaving, who enjoys the nuanced acting skill necessary to play up the role without making it absurd. His work in V for Vendetta shows that he can convey emotion without his face being seen (since Burkhalter's face is also masked), while his portrayal of Red Skull in Captain America clearly demonstrated that he can play an over-the-top German pulp villain in a manner that feels plausible even when it isn't.
