“Ink Calendar” make use the timed pace of the ink spreading on the paper to indicate time.
The ink is absorbed slowly, and the numbers in the calendar are “printed” daily. One a day, they are filled with ink until the end of the month. A calendar self-updated, which enhances the perception of time passing and not only signaling it.

“ What’s this...

Commercial Street Mini Free Library
“ What’s this all about?
Libraries across the continent have been closed or had budgets dramatically slashed for years. The Little Free Library movement began in Wisconsin, created by Todd Bol and Rick Brooks: “They first met in 2009 while exploring the benefits of green practices in small businesses, discovering that they shared a commitment to service and the quality of community life around the
world.” (www.littlefreelibrary.org).
Micro-libraries are one way private citizens can take back stewardship and grow their community and neighbourhood resources, in a time when our municipal leaders are cutting them. With the closure of the Bruce Street Library in Milton, Ontario our neighbourhood was left a poorer place. I hope this little library can give back a little of what we lost. So feel free to borrow a book (but please return it when you’re done, or replace it with another)!
Donations of books are gratefully accepted.
regards,
Adam Smith ”
