There once was a young girl called Bridget...
'Stop fidgeting!' is the perennial cry of parents everywhere. Or it used to be.
But fidgeting is fun and fingers are made to fiddle with. So it's little wonder that the toy phenomenon of 2017 taking the world by storm is the fidget spinner.
The fidget toy craze is currently so massive that it’s already destined to go down in history
along with the Rubik’s Cube, Cabbage Patch Dolls and Hula Hoop as one of the most popular
toy fads of all time. However, many of the fidget toy versions now flooding the market are
actually copycat knock-offs, that aren’t a patch on the original.
But that's not all. Because leading international toy and consumer products company ZURU Toys is thrilled to announce an exclusive worldwide deal with Antsy Labs to manufacture and distribute the
original sensation which started it all - the Fidget Cube.
Fidget Cube is available now from all major UK retailers including Tesco, Asda, Argos, Toys R Us etc. selling for £9.99 each. So, forget about fiddling about with paperclips and pens, once you get your hands on these toys you won’t want to fidget with anything else!

Win tickets to see Middlesex v Essex at Lords
We’ve teamed up with Lord’s Cricket Ground once again to offer you the chance to win two tickets to see Middlesex play Essex on 27th July.
Lord's Cricket Ground will be the place to be again this summer as it hosts four NatWest T20 Blast matches on Thursday nights throughout July and August.
Always an action-packed evening, it is the perfect after-work event for London sports fans or for those simply looking to enjoy a night out with friends or family.
Located in St John’s Wood, Lord’s is a stone’s throw away from central London and just 20 minutes on the Jubilee Line from Canary Wharf.
There promises to be a fantastic atmosphere and plenty of entertainment both on and off the pitch.

But I'm a great advocate of the view that there are no boring subjects, only boring teachers. (Look, I know, I'm one of them!)

All the Good Things
What if you did a very bad thing... but that wasn't the end of the story? That's the intriguing premiss of the new book by Clare Fisher.
All the Good Things is the story of Beth, twenty-one and in prison having done something so bad she doesn't ever deserve to feel good again.
But her counsellor, Erika, won't give up on her. She asks Beth to make a list of all the good things in her life. So Beth starts to write down her story, from sharing silences with Foster Dad No. 1, to flirting in the Odeon on Orange Wednesdays, to the very first time she sniffed her baby's head.
But at the end of her story, Beth must confront the bad thing.
What is the truth hiding behind her crime? And does anyone - even a 100% bad person - deserve a chance to be good?

Howzat!
I don't like cricket (as the song goes)... I love it!
And if you do too, you'll love this: two tickets to the Royal London one-day final at Lords on July 1st.

But I like to think I did the 'team' proud and having earned my 'cap' I was then treated to a tour of the famous home of cricket, including a glimpse in the inner sanctum of the holy of holies - the Lord's long room.
I can't guarantee your seats will be in the pavilion a week on Saturday but I'm sure they'll be good and I'm sure the final will be a day to remember.

Climb every mountain...
