Bank Failures

Grant’s Almost Daily reports that despite the seemingly calm economic winds, “Banco Popular has managed to run the ship aground. In order to shore up their sickly balance sheet, the acquiring [Banco] Santander will issue a €7 billion rights offering to shareholders. Banco Popular’s equity and junior debt are wiped out, to the tune of €3.3 billion.”

While America breathlessly waited for former FBI Director Comey to boast daytime TV ratings, the  “announcement that Banco Popular Espanol SA will...

The Best Foods for Survival

Upon request from our readers, I was asked to make a follow-up to the MRE article. In there, I had mentioned that creating your own MRE is more efficient and cheaper than buying one of the brand-names.

Therefore, I have compiled this information together as everything you’ll need to know about creating your very own MRE.

I will be going over what I had mentioned in the previous article as well as supplying you with the “how-to’s” in drying out food, properly compacting it all into air-tight s...

When Fukushima 2 Happens Here

You’d think that after the Fukushima Nuclear Power Plant melted down, the US government would reassess the safety of our own power plants, and take the proper precautions so that we never face a disaster like that. After all, the Japanese government was pretty confident that their power plants were totally safe from natural disasters. No matter how confident we are about the safety of our power plants, we should take a second look at them.

It turns out however, that our government is not inte...

Propaganda About Global Warming

The energy output of the sun I have reported is crashing faster than anyone expected. Normally, when the cycle has changed from global warming to global cooling, it has tended to be more gradual. It appears the energy output of the sun may be now making 100-year lows. We have seen food shortages in Europe and several very cold winters there. The North Pole has also shifted direction in 2000 and has been moving toward Europe at 55km annually, also a speed never seen before.

So while everyone i...

The Imperial City Unhinged

Comey’s ballyhooed testimony contains nothing not already known, nothing remotely about obstruction of justice, and, in fact, nothing that matters at all. It’s just a replay of the self-serving tommyrot Comey has been leaking all along.

Indeed, it’s the Nothingburger that proves Imperial Washington has become completely unhinged in its groundless RussiaGate hysteria; and is stumbling toward a lawless defenestration of a sitting president in the name of a hypocritical obeisance to a tortured v...

Why Have Chevy Silverado Sales Tanked?

Prior to 2017, the Dodge and Ram trucks had only outsold the Chevrolet Silverado on a monthly basis two times.  This year, however, five months into 2017, the Ram has outsold the Silverado three times, in three consecutive months.   After 40 years of the Ford F-Series being the #1 selling truck in America, the coveted position is actually the number two spot.

Year-to-date, Ford has sold almost 352,000 pickups, Chevy has 212,425, and Ram is sitting on 207,370.  In percentages, Ford and Ram are...

A Good Leak

Last weekend, the FBI arrested an employee of a corporation in Augusta, Georgia, that had a contract with the National Security Agency and charged her with espionage. Espionage occurs when someone who has been entrusted to safeguard state secrets fails to do so. In this case, the government alleges that the person to whom state secrets had been entrusted is 25-year-old Reality Leigh Winner, who had a top-secret national security clearance.

The government claims that Winner downloaded and prin...

Crooked Hillary in Hot Water Again

Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Chuck Grassley, R-Iowa, has launched a new investigation into Hillary Clinton over whether the former secretary of state meddled in a Bangladeshi corruption probe to help a Clinton Foundation donor.

‘This new evidence of pay-to-play and special treatment reinforces the appearance that donations to the Clinton Foundation resulted in favorable treatment by Secretary Clinton’s State Department,’ Grassley said.

The Daily Caller first reported Grassley’s move af...

Top 10 Secrets

A deck of playing cards may look simple, but hidden among the pips, suits, numbers and portraits are surprising secrets, some of which are hundreds of years old.

That box of pasteboards in bold, primary colors is one of the most recognizable things in the world, but the more we look, the more it seems like those cards are filled with mystery.

Cards are special things. Each deck is a marvel of engineering, design and history, loaded with secrets that have been whispered and distorted with each...
