Shoot and Reload With One Hand

There’s a big difference between going to the range to shoot a few paper targets, and having to use a firearm to protect yourself. A gap exists between those two situations that can be measured in miles. So even if you’re a really good shot, you’re not necessarily proficient with a firearm. You have to be prepared to use a firearm in real world situations, and those situations can be unbelievably messy and chaotic.

One thing you should prepare yourself for is the possibility that in an actual...

The Feds Have Been at War for 16 Years

For sixteen years the US has been at war in the Middle East and North Africa, running up trillions of dollars in expenses, committing untold war crimes, and sending millions of war refugees to burden Europe, while simultaneously claiming that Washington cannot afford its Social Security and Medicare obligations or to fund a national health service like every civilized country has.

Considering the enormous social needs that cannot be met because of the massive cost of these orchestrated wars,...

Mission Impossible

We had a listener last week who wanted to spend $5000 for his 16-year old child.  The parent was rightfully concerned about safety, reliability, and wanted it to be fairly low mileage.  This is called Mission: Impossible.

I could retire today if I just had a dollar for the times I have been asked about where to get a $5000 reliable used car. As I have been talking about on my radio show for some time, the used car market remains at record high values. One of the segments that is most in deman...

Who Interfered in the US Presidential Election?

Unlike Oliver Stone, who knew how to interview Vladimir Putin, Megyn Kelly did not. Thus, she made a fool of herself, which is par for her course.

Now the entire Western media has joined Megyn in foolishness, or so it appears from an RT report. James O’Keefe has senior CNN producer John Bonifield on video telling O’Keefe that CNN’s anti-Russia reporting is purely for ratings: “It’s mostly bullshit right now. Like, we don’t have any big giant proof.” CNN’s Bonifield is reported to go on to say...

Cheap, Effective, and a Joy To Use

Thanks in large part to the internet and social media, essential oils are becoming a household name. What many people don’t know, however, is that essential oils are able to treat high blood pressure.

There is no doubt that a lot of people like the smell of essential oils. In addition, there are tons of reports of people experiencing health benefits as a result of the oils. Perhaps you have heard of people using peppermint oil for stomach aches, eucalyptus oil for a stuffy nose, or tea tree o...

Immigration and the Supreme Court

Earlier this week, after nearly uniform rejections by judges all across the country, President Donald Trump achieved a court victory in the persistent challenges to his most recent executive order restricting the immigration of people into the United States from six predominately Muslim countries. Lower federal courts had consistently ruled that the president’s behavior was animated by an anti-Muslim bias — a bias he forcefully articulated during the presidential election campaign — concludin...

For Telling an Obvious Truth

Yes, they can be serious.

During his tennis career, McEnroe became known for outbursts on the court when he thought umpires had missed a call. In one classic exchange, he yelled at an official, “You cannot be serious! That ball was on the line!”

John McEnroe has got himself in trouble:

Garcia-Navarro: We’re talking about male players but there is of course wonderful female players. Let’s talk about Serena Williams. You say she is the best female player in the world in the book.

McEnroe: Best...

Islam and Clericalism

It is fashionable in the West to talk about the « compatibility of Islam and democracy » or « Islam and secularism ». These issues suggest that by nature Islam is clerical, and therefore not a religion, but a political current. Consequently, the most « radical » Muslims are terrorists and vice versa. And yet, for the last month, the Greater Middle East, with its mostly Muslim population, is dividing between the faithful followers of this religion and the partisans of a political system which...

Haven in Kazakhstan

You Can Always Hide in Kazakhstan

For the aspiring Edward Snowdens among you, Kazakhstan does not have an extradition treaty with the US.

It’s one of the few places on Earth outside the long reach of US law.

You can always hide in Kazakhstan. Though, having just been there, it wouldn’t be my first choice.

Time to buy old US gold coins

I went to Kazakhstan because it’s the world’s largest uranium producer. I think uranium has the most profit potential of any resource market right now. I watch the industry very closely.

The co...

Concealed Carry Everywhere?

Legislation to treat concealed carry permits like drivers’ licenses nationwide is gaining steam in Congress while opponents dig in.

Introduced by U.S. Rep. Richard Hudson, R-NC, on the first day of session in the new House, the bill now enjoys the support of Hudson and 199 co-sponsors from 42 states. The bill is largely Republican, with three Democrats crossing the aisle, and is currently one of the top 10 most-viewed bills in Congress.

“Your driver’s license works in every state, so why does...
