This is a poignant and heartbreaking rendering of the ancient Good Friday Hymn 'Stabat Mater Dolorosa', which describes the sword of grief piercing the heart of the Virgin Mary as she watches the death of her Son at the hands of a mob and of a cowardly state, and the apparent utter defeat of truth and goodness in the world.

It was sent to me on the evening of Maundy Thursday by a Polish sympathiser and I listened to it...

Hunt over. Snark Found. I locate evidence that sex education was invented to demoralise children.

This has absolutely nothing to do with the coronavirus. But I find it fascinating and it is the culmination of a long search, much like the Hunting of the Snark, which I thought would never end. I am much indebted to Joe Audritt, who found out the information and kindly wrote to me.
