My appearance on Talk Radio this week, with Kevin O' Sullivan sitting in for Mike Graham.

On why the Tories follow Eurocommunist policies, and the intolerance of the two new religions of health and climate change.

My original column item on the Danish Mask Study from November 22 2020

I am publishing this article here as a free-standing item because IPSO, the press watchdog, refused to take it into account while issuing its vast ruling on my eight-word glancing reference to the same subject three weeks later.

I am also doing so because it was, to my astonishment, the only item in any British newspaper which could be called a contemporaneous report of the Danish Mask Study in any British Daily or Sunday national newspaper. It is of course not a straight news report, as it is...

PETER HITCHENS: You know it's over when even Barbie surrenders to the woke revolution...

CaptureThis is Peter Hitchens Mail on Sunday column

Professor Dame Sarah Gilbert, the scientist largely responsible for the successful Oxford Covid vaccine, did not look too pleased to find she had been portrayed as a Barbie doll. Who can blame her?

The hideous little idol doesn't look like her, with its huge hair and absurd glasses and in any case I'm pretty sure Dame Sarah's well-educated upbringing did not involve that sort of thing.

Barbie dolls are about as incorrect as you can get in t...

Further Evidence on IPSO's Curious Arrogation of New Powers to Itself

This week I was censured by the Independent Press Standards Organisation (IPSO) in the terms reproduced below (my newspaper, The Mail on Sunday, is obliged by its membership of IPSO to print the ruling in the form agreed).

I have publicly objected to this on the grounds that it is not a judgement on accuracy, IPSOs proper remit, but on an opinion, or interpretation. All the emphases in the documents reproduced below are mine.

These include the original article, the basis for the complaint, ...

PETER HITCHENS: Which is worse? Having an opinion or failing to tell readers the facts?

CaptureThis is Peter Hitchens Mail on Sunday column

Today our society takes a dangerous step towards semi-official censorship of opinions. In this case it is my opinions but once we accept this in our midst, it will affect everyone elses.

The Mail on Sunday today publishes a correction of something I wrote in my column about facemasks.

This is mandated by the Independent Press Standards Organisation (IPSO), to which this newspaper belongs and whose rules I am pledged to follow.

Most p...

If the Danish Mask Study supported compulsory mask-wearing, why did the pro-mask media ignore its results?

If the Danish Mask Study supported compulsory mask wearing, why did the pro-mask media refuse to publish its results?

In connection with the IPSO ruling against me (on which I have commented in my main article) I here reproduce the factual report on the Danish Mask Study which I published in my Mail on Sunday Column on November 22 2020.

Proof that the mask zealots cant have it both ways

Can a Covid virus move only one way through a mask? Or can it go both in and out? Because if it can g...

PETER HITCHENS: If Dominic Cummings calls me bonkers, you know I must be right!

Capture

This is Peter Hitchens Mail on Sunday column

Being called bonkers by Dominic Cummings is a bit like being called fat by the late Cyril Smith or intolerant by the late Ian Paisley. So not all that deeply wounding. But it is important in its way. Let me explain.

Some of you may have seen that Mr Cummings claims to have heard the Prime Minister endorse my doubts, published in The Mail on Sunday, about throttling the country in an attempt to defeat Covid.

These were doubts...
