His favorite authors include Eoin Colfer, Rick Riordan, Cassandra Clare and James Patterson. He also practices screenwriting and filmmaking and has a movie review blog. He is an avid movie fan and sees a new film every Thursday.

He also does stand-up comedy and impressions on YouTube on his channel, "Rant about It." He resides in Lafayette, IN.
