EASY! Pickled Eggs Recipe

How to make delicious pickled eggs in a few simple steps.

Ingredients:

12-hard-boiled eggs, peeled

2 cups white vinegar

½ tsp salt

½ cup sugar

1 tbsp pickling spice

Directions:

Put the peeled and rinsed hard-boiled eggs in a large jar that will hold one dozen eggs. In a 2-quart cooking pot, bring vinegar, salt, sugar, and pickling spice to a slow, steady boil for five minutes. Pour pickling brine over the eggs in the jar. Cover; leave on a cooling rack until the jar is cool to touch. Refrigerate.

Pickled Eggs

Some people add beet juice to make the eggs pink or sliced onion to have pickled onion alongside the eggs. This is totally your preference. I don’t do that. I try and make my recipes as uncomplicated as possible.

As a mother, grandmother, and preschool teacher, I know only too well how difficult and frustrating it is for colorists to stay inside of the lines. With five designs and five pages of each, you can color page one of the design, and if you go outside of the lines, or decide on a different color; you have four more additional pages of the same design to color. Keep coloring until you practice your way to perfect! This book also includes blank Draw Your Own Art pages to practice your drawing; Practice Your Way to Perfect: Halloween Coloring Book For Kids will bring joy to all those who turn the pages.
• Coloring – is an excellent way for children to develop their hand-eye coordination
• 8 x10 single-sided non-perforated coloring pages suitable for framing

Granny Smith Apples Popular Among Apple Pie Lovers

Yesterday I made an apple pie using 3 lbs (about 8 medium-size Granny Smith apples). And even with 1-cup combined brown and granulated sugar, it was too tart and tangy for my liking. But Granny Smith Apples are said to be the apple of choice and popular among apple pie lovers. I prefer McIntosh apples for pie!

Granny Smith Apples | One of the most popular apples among pie lovers- my fave is McIntosh apples!

Apple pie and ice cream!

Use your favorite pie crust, enough for the bottom and top. Fill with your favorite apple pie filling. Bake at 425 degrees for fifteen minutes, reduce heat to 350 degrees for thirty-five to forty-five minutes. To prevent pie edges from burning, line with aluminum foil. Test apples with a fork to see if the apples are cooked through. Adjust the length of cooking time to your own oven. Don’t put it in the oven and forget about it, if your oven is off, you could undercook crust or overcook it.
