Sant Mat in Itally ~ Master Sirio Ji

Sirio Ji - Itallian Master of Sant Mat - Mystic Poet

Though my searching the internet for possible gurumukh disciples of my Master Ajaib Singh have always felt rather desperate to pathetic, I have come across one here who is phenomenally interesting. His poetry, his words of love regarding Master's Kirpal and Ajaib play on the heart strings like the hands of a virtuoso musician.

My review of Musical Chairs by Jen Knox

I finished Jen Knox's Musical Chairs, published by All Things That Matter Press, this last Sunday while on vacation, and visiting my wife's daughter in Kettle Falls, Washington. The book about her young life, mostly in the tough neighborhoods of inner city Columbus was a bold contrast to my location in the middle of a rather serene and beautiful setting on an organic vegetable farm and fruit orchard at the end of a quiet rural neighborhood street. I enjoyed it very much.

The following is the r...

The Greer Agency by Harris Tobias

It's Friday - Time for another author feature in the exclusive All Things That Matter Press blog tour. It's Harris Tobias' turn. I haven't read The Greer Agency yet but I've read a bit of Harris' short sci-fi and that was thoroughly enjoyable. Harris has a great imagination and a quick wit. Can't see how we could go wrong with this novel.

Re: Seeing Stars in Literary Reviews

One could say it's a topic not worth the effort. Hardly a topic at all.

I did a little google search and I didn't come up with much. I really thought I'd run across a bit more sarcasm about the stars.

So what do the stars do? They shine light on the subject, the subject of the review. They also point the way. There's 5 Stars on this review about this book. Must be good! There's only 3 stars on that review about that book. Must not be too good. And then, they provide a shortcut for those who...

painting, pulling weeds, life and death

Painting our porch and our back yard fence, working with my editors on what I hope are the last stages in the production of my novel, preparing to move our store to a new location at work, trying to keep up (unsuccessfully) with the grass and the overgrown trees and the weeds in our yard, making efforts to get the cabin road repair work done at our property in WV, going to our friend and cancer victim Sky Bear's memorial in Maryland and to a memorial for Pradyumna, a brilliant, successful...
