An Early Observation regarding Song of George: Portrait of an Unlikely Holy Man
I liked this early observation about the structure/style of my novel, Song of George: Portrait of an Unlikely Holy Man that Doug Donoughe posted on my facebook wall.
Doug Donoughe I think should reserve judgment until I finish the book, but I just started reading Song of George and I am very impressed. I find its defiant lucidity to be strikingly reminiscent of Joseph Heller's seminal Catch-22 and I look forward to seeing where it goes from there. The writing coherently submerses me in the...

The Primatives aren't dead, but have only been sleeping
Hopefully visitors to my blog are by now aware that I have a book, but perhaps there are those who don't know that I am also a songwriter/musician – was one long before I was lucky enough to be picked up as an author by All Things That Matter Press. My music has been sort of back-burner lately, due to the mechanics of getting the book ready and then working to get the word out that it exists. Well, to borrow from the Blues Brothers, though they're certainly not the first to use the phrase, ...

Some comments on Howard Fast, disguised as a book review of Freedom Road
Freedom Roadby Howard Fast
There's so much i want to say, about not only this book but Howard Fast in general, but time is not permitting at the moment. I'll just say for now that I feel that he was and is simultaneously one of the most prolific and successful as well as one of the most slandered and mistreated of American writers. Most of his work was effectively buried under the landfill of political...

Sant Bani Ashram Ribolla – Retreat with Sant Ajaib Singh (1989)
This is from my friend Andrea Zucchi. Sirio Ji was Sant Ji's translator from Pappu's English to Italian. It's also a very beautiful documentary style video showing Sirio's ashram in the early days.

Interview with fellow author, Harris Tobias
As I've mentioned earlier, in a previous post, fellow ATTMP author, Harris Tobias is a joy to read. His vivid imagination and his quick wit provide plenty of action and entertainment, but what's more Harris' good nature comes through. So you feel as if the author is a friend, so to speak. I think you will enjoy the following personal glimpse of the author as he speaks of, not only his novel, but also of his style and his character.

Sant Ajaib Singh giving Satsang in Italy 1996
Sant Ajaib Singh Ji Maharaj, July 31, 1996, Italy on Vimeo
Here's a very nice video I found of my Spiritual Master giving Satsang in Italy in 1996:
Sant Mat in Italy ~ Master Sirio Ji
Sirio Ji - Italian Master of Sant Mat - Mystic Poet
Though my searching the internet for possible gurumukh disciples of my Master Ajaib Singh have always felt rather desperate to pathetic, I have come across one sadhu here who is phenomenally interesting. His poetry, his words of love regarding Masters Kirpal and Ajaib play enchantingly on the heart strings.
