Frederick George Keyes was an American physical chemist. He invented the method to sterilize milk using ultra-violet rays, thus killing germs. He held the positions of Associate Professor of Physical Chemistry, Professor of Physical Chemistry and was Head of Department of Chemistry at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
