New Web Address

New Cover for Re-release of Broken

For all of you awesome people who are friends with me over on Facebook, this probably won't come as much of a surprise... But along with the release of Lost at the end of February, I've decided to re-release a new and improved e-book edition of Broken. This new version is still the same story as the first edition, but will include a brand new cover (designed by yours truly), new and improved editing, extras such as 2 deleted scenes and an interview with one of the main characters, and a sneak peek at the first Chapter of Lost.

 

Now if you're someone who's already a fan of Broken and has spent plenty of time exploring this website, than this new version probably won't be something you're interested in buying... And yes, I do realize this might seem a little weird. lol

 

Mainly my goal with this new and improved version is to attract anyone out there who might have seen Broken at one point or another, liked the idea, but been less than impressed with the original cover, and for that reason decided to pass it by... Because let's be honest, whether we like to admit it or not, most of us really do judge a book by its cover. Or it could be for anyone who stumbles upon Lost after its spectacular release and becomes so mesmerized by it they feel compelled to begin the series fresh... Or whatever. The possibilities are endless!

 

So yeah... expect to see the new version out sometime in the next few weeks. Below I have attached a sneak peek of the new cover for your judging and viewing pleasure.

 

What do you think? Like it? To bold, too purple, not bold enough?? Honest opinions are always appreciated... Although over the top praise and obvious sucking up will be accepted too. hehe. No really. Jk. ;)

Lost Update... Finally!!

Alright, so I realize it's been a while since I last posted any updates, and considering the amount of emails I've been getting lately asking  "Wow, I really loved Broken, but where the HECK is Lost?" (lol, I love you guys too), I decided it was finally time share a little news and give you all EXACTLY what you've been waiting for.

 

As  most of you kow, my original plan was to have Lost ready for release by the end of summer 2010-- obviously that didn't happen. Why, you might ask?? Well, that answers a little complicated. Mostly it was due to a ridiculous amount of delays, hang ups, and over all obsessive cumpulsiveness on my part to make my second book as "perfect" as humanly possible. *sigh*  But anyway... I won't waste your time with drama. ;)

 

Now for the good stuff.

 

You'll find the e-book edition of Lost at Amazon and Barnes and Noble's online store sometime around February 28th 2011. The paperback edition will be availble on my website, as well as Amazon sometime in the second week of March.  

 

I will also be making alot of updates as we get closer to the release dates, including a free book giveaway, deleted scenes, new playlists, fun character pics, and extras. So check back often during the last week of February for a sneak peek at all the new goodies! (:

Deleted Scene!

Well, the moment you've been waiting for since yesterday has finally arrived... The first deleted scene from Broken has just been posted under the "Books/Broken/ Deleted Scenes" tab. There will actually be another scene coming sometime in the next few hours (once I've finally had the chance to eat, shower, and dress ;) ). So stay posted later on today for the update.

Release date for Lost

Well, after a lot of sighing and groaning and overall hesitation, I've finally decided to announce a slight delay in the release of Lost, the second book in my Miakoda Young Series. Originally set for late June, early July, it's now looking more like mid to late August. I know it's disappointing, especially for those of you fans who have been waiting so patiently, but delays in editing and the final version have caused me to reevaluate my own deadline. Being a fairly new independant author...
