Authenticity + Mystery = Reflection

To make a mirror you need a sandwich of transparence and obscuration (a layer of transparent film and a layer of non-transparent film). Thus a reflection - be it of physical or relational nature - is a superimposition of authenticity (the obvious/the see-through) upon a mystery (the obscure/the impenetrable).

Fashion of Awareness

Seems like nowadays you can find a Buddha statue just about anywhere. Probably even in Wal Mart. I think we are finally starting to realize that awareness is good interior design.
