Release Day!!!!

The Horsemen have been released into the world!

Yep, get ready for action! Danger! Upside-down tree sex!

Oh, and hellhounds and apocalypses and hot demons and sexy angels and…well, you get the idea. (UK readers, you'll get the UK version on April 7th, so small delay, but I think the next book should be the same day as US.)

Okay, on to the contest, because also released into the world today? Another book about hot demon dudes…Gena Showalter's The Darkest Secret. I read it already, and I gotta say, Amun is tied with Reyes as my favorite hero, and Haidee is definitely my favorite heroine. Loved this book, and to show my love, I'll give away a copy to a commenter! All you have to do is tell me where you buy most of your books. I split my purchases between Amazon and my local Bookworld. What about you?

New Auction Items & Free Read!

And finally, I have a little gift for you! A free read/scene for Eidolon and Tayla. This scene would take place in the Demonica/Lords of Deliverance timeline between Sin Undone and Eternal Rider. Hope you enjoy!

P.S…people keep asking if Eternal Rider is out yet, because it's in some stores. NO! Some stores have shipped early or put out early. It is not technically out until April 1st, though tomorrow is considered "shelf" release day at most book sellers, so it should be almost everywhere in the US tomorrow. April 7 in the UK.

Immortal Rider Cover Shoot

You know, a long time ago, I had a dream. That dream was to become a published author. This was a huge dream, like, the kind where you say to yourself, "Self, I would be happy to have just one book on the shelves. Just one. I would then have achieved my dream."

So then I got published. I'd made it! But soon, not only was I published, but my second book hit the USA Today list. Holy crap! I'd gone above and beyond what I dreamed of. The third book hit the USA Today and the New York Times, and suddenly, my dream had been blown out of the park in a fantastic way.

I honestly think I'm still stunned, even a couple of years later. It still doesn't seem real. Not even when I hold a finished copy of my books in my hands.

And then something like this happens: my editor sends pictures of a cover shoot for one of my books. (This is Immortal Rider, book 2 in the Lords of Deliverance series…releases next Thanksgiving.)

O.M.G. I'm reminded that this truly is all a dream. It might be real, but it's a dream come true. Those are real people posing for MY cover. Squee!!!!

I think I'll lick my screen now, because the dude? Yum. (That's Arik, by the way. Female is Limos. Damn, I can't wait to see the finished cover!!!!

In One Week…

…three things happen:

It will be Spring Break for my son! This might not excite you, but it thrills me, because that's a week of sleeping in. Yay!

Eternal Rider releases next Tuesday! Hopefully this excites you. I'm fine if you lie to me and say it does. In fact, I kind of prefer that.

Operation: Auction begins on the 27th! So far, here's what I'll be offering:

~ Coffee or Drinks with NYT Bestselling Authors Larissa Ione and Stephanie Tyler (AKA Sydney Croft) at the RWA Conference in NYC in July (conference held June 28 – July 1,2011). Time and location to be decided upon at a mutually agreed upon time with the authors and the auction winner. You can ask about writing / publishing or just talk books! Includes a bag of goodies and a signed copy of Sydney Croft's Taken By Fire!

~ Larissa Ione will let the winner name a minor character in an upcoming book, will dedicate the book to the winner, and will send the winner a signed copy of finished book. Includes a phone call to discuss the character and names.

~ Complete set of ACRO books signed by Larissa Ione and Stephanie Tyler, to include ARC (if available, if not, finished copy) of Taken By Fire (6 books total)

~ Scrivener prize package. Winner will receive a copy of Scrivener (for Mac), a romance novel template, and Larissa will call or video conference winner with a tutorial. Winner will also receive a WIP of Larissa's to see Scrivener in action.
