Let Us Sing to the Lord!: How Should We View Worship in Churches?

One topic that often stirs up emotional reactions and greatly varied opinions concerns music in churches. Do I even want to go there? Well, I thought I would give it a try.

Gods Word states,

Oh come, let us sing to the LORD; let us make a joyful noise to the rock of our salvation! (Psalm 95:1)
Addressing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody to the Lord with your heart. (Ephesians 5:19)

Now, the rub comes because peoples views of music can be quite sub...

Canada Urged to Expand Assisted Suicide to Mature Minors

In June 2016not even seven years agoCanada legalized what they call medical assistance in dying, or MAiD, to support [Canadians] autonomy and freedom of choice, and protect those who are vulnerable. But this is not about protecting the vulnerable at allits about killing the most vulnerable.

And thats exactly whats happened as Canada has gone from allowing for medically assisted murder of merely the elderly and terminally ill to considering the murder of thos...

New Hotel Opens This Month Next to the Ark Encounter Parking Lot

Tourism in Northern Kentucky continues to grow! We are so thankful for the Lords blessing on the Ark Encounter and Creation Museum as he continues to bring tens of thousands of families to encounter the message of the truth of Gods Word and the gospel at the worlds leading Christian themed attractions (which were just voted the best religious museums in the US!). Weve seen such a phenomenal influx of visitors that over 20 new hotels have been built in Northern Kentucky since th...

Are Snakes Evil?

I recently posted about a popular animal program at the Ark Encounter called Sssensational Snakes! which features a variety of beautiful (OK, not all people think they are beautiful) live snakes and fascinating teaching from our knowledgeable keepers. In response, I had several people ask why we feature snakes in our programming, because arent snakes evil?

In support of such an idea, people point to Genesis 3:1415, where God pronounced a curse on the serpent and then on Satan (w...

When It Comes to Genesis, Can We Be Dogmatic?

When it comes to what we believe about anythingespecially about Genesiscan we be dogmatic? Can we actually know anything for sure or must we always, no matter what we believe, act like we cant actually know for sure the things we know? Okay, what do I mean?

Well, recently on my social media posts, some people have dogmatically expressed that I shouldnt be so dogmatic about the stand we take on Genesis. They dogmatically claim that I should allow for the views of others who very dogma...

AIIts Pushing an Anti-God Agenda!

The artificial intelligence known as ChatGPT (developed by OpenAI) has been dominating much of the news cycle recently as users test its abilities and what answers it will give to various questions, prompts, and requests. Now, many people might assume AI is neutral, just giving users the facts. But those who build AI systems have a worldviewand that worldview dominates the answers AI bots give. In other words, humans program them, and how they react/answer will depend upon how they are...

Meet the Newest Critter at the Creation Museum (She Glows Pink!)

Families and guests of all ages absolutely love meeting the animals in our Ararat Ridge Zoo at the Ark Encounter, in the Eden Animal Experience at the Creation Museum, and in our free daily live animal programs at both attractions. Its Time to Rewrite Another Evolutionary Theory

Planetary rings, like those encircling Saturn or Jupiter, are a beautiful feature of the heavens. And a brand-new ring system was recently discovered, wrapping around Quaoar, a dwarf planet half the size of Pluto and located past Neptune. This brings the number of ringed objects in our solar system to seven. Andlike the rings surrounding Saturnthis planets rings are also a challenge to whats referred to by evolutionists as ring formation theories.

The rings of Quaoar dont fo...

Why You Should Be Careful Which Christian College You Attend

Does it matter which Christian college you send your child to? Many Christians dont believe so, trusting that any college that claims Christ is better than sending their child to a pagan, secular university. But is this really true?

Christian colleges who have compromised the truth of Gods Word (and there are many of them) can actually be more damaging to a young persons faith than out-right, in-your-face atheism.

Well, I would say no, not necessarily. Christian colleges that have compro...
