Puberty BlockersLife-Saving or Irreversibly Damaging?

Ive written multiple times on my blog about the dangers of puberty blockers and other hormone therapies or surgical solutions for those who believe they are transgender. Refusing to embrace Gods design of male or female (Genesis 1:27) has consequences, including horrible physical consequences for those who begin hormonal and surgical alterations to their bodies. And does The New York Times sort of agree with me, though just a little?
In a very long article published recently, the col...

Whats One of My Favorite Local Places to Visit?

Whats one of my favorite places to visit in our local area? Well, the Ark Encounter and Creation Museum are at the very top of my list, of course! But also on our list, my wife Mally and I enjoy the National Museum of the USAF in Dayton, Ohio (about 1.25 hours north of the Creation Museum). Its a great place to set aside some time aside to visit when youre in the area visiting the Creation Museum and Ark Encounter.

Entrance is free, and it's a wonderful place to spend a day with the fam...

Giving Thanks in a Broken World?

Today is Thanksgiving Day here in America, and we all have so much to be grateful for. The Lord has blessed us, first with the gift of salvation and his eternal Word, but also with many, many other spiritual and material blessings. Some years its easy to reflect and see Gods hand of blessing. Other times, from a finite human perspective, its harder to see the year as a blessing. Why?
Well, because we live in a broken world. This world is filled with sickness, pain, hardship, and d...

Very Tiny Clam the Newest Living Fossil

Imagine this: its November 2018, and a scientist is carefully turning over rocks in rocky tidal pools full of cold ocean water along the Southern California coast. Hes looking for nudibranchs. But, rather than a colorful sea slug, he spots something very small and translucent stuck to a rockits a bivalve (clam) hes never seen before. Fast forward four years and this scientist has a claim to fame as the discoverer of a new species. But its actually more interesting than that!
The...

If Only Every Young Person Could Take These Classes!

This past week, students completed a series of labs on the topic of environmental science during one of our high school lab programs at the Creation Museum. I love seeing all of these young people eagerly studying Gods creation through the lens of Gods Word. What an incredible opportunity to raise up a generation of scientists, researchers, and others who think biblically.
As you can see in these photos, the students were very intrigued by what they were learning and discovering.

These stud...

Be Fruitful and Multiply? Earths Population Hits 8 Billion

Earth just hit a significant milestone. For the first time ever (that we know ofno one knows what the pre-flood population was), there are now eight billion people on the planet. While this has been celebrated by some people, many climate alarmists, as expected, have been wringing their hands, moaning about the damage that such a large number of people are doing to Mother Earth. But how should Christians view this milestone?
Be Fruitful and MultiplyWell, we should view it according to G...
