Two Special Anniversaries This Month

December is a month of anniversaries for us at Answers in Genesis! Today, December 27, is the 29th anniversary of the AiG ministry. What began as a very small group of people here in Northern Kentucky has blossomed, by Gods grace, into a massive ministry with over 1,000 employees during our busy season, reaching millions of people around the world each year. Praise the Lordhe is so good! But theres an even more special anniversary in three days.

Celebrating 50 Years

Well, December 2022 is a special month. And December 30, 2022, is a special day. On December 30, 1972, Mally and I were married in Brisbane, Australia. So we are celebrating our 50th wedding anniversary this month.
Time sure flies. It seems like only yesterday we met and were married. But so much has happened during those 50 years. We have five children, of which four are married (one daughter still needs a husband, by the way), and theyve given us 18 grandchildren. Ohand one grandson is m...

Merry Christmas from AiG, the Creation Museum, and the Ark Encounter

For the past few weeks, weve been in full Christmas mode here at the Creation Museum and the Ark Encounter as we celebrate the Saviors birth with a live nativity, a nightly family Christmas concert, a sea of lights, and more (and theres still a few more nights left of our Christmas programs!). As always, ChristmasTown and ChristmasTime have been so much fun for everyone, but more than that, thousands of guests have heard the gospel and been given time to stop and reflect on Christ and w...

Looking for a Last-Minute Christmas Gift? Give Answers Magazine

Christmas is right around the corner. But dont worry if youre still shopping for last-minute gifts. You dont even need to leave your home to find one that will keep giving smiles all year and that will help the recipient build a more biblical worldview. What am I talking about? Answers magazine, of course! Its a tool for families to help them survive in the increasing anti-Christian culture. And its actually two magazines, so theres something for the whole family.

A magazine su...

University: Dont Say Christmas, Say Winter Closure Period Instead

Avoid using Christian-centric language, says a UK university in a recent guidance document to its staff. In an effort to encourage staff and students to make Englands Brighton [University] a place where everyone feels respected and valued, the guidance says to avoid Christian-centric language, such as Christmas closure period. But does this really make everyone feel respected and valued?
Of course not! It certainly doesnt make the students who celebrate Christ...

Seven Devotionals to Start This New Year

As the New Year approaches, youre likely finishing up a devotional and looking for a new one to start 2023. Well, if youd like a devotional resource that will root you in Gods Word this coming year and one that is filled with meat, not fluff, I encourage you to consider one of the seven devotionals, or devotional series, we offer in our online bookstore.
Many devotionals (especially those marketed toward women) are, sadly, very light on Scripture but heavy on personal stories and ...

This Event Sold Out Twice Last YearSave Your Spot Today

More than a homeschool conferenceits a family experience! Our second Answers Homeschool Experience is coming to the Ark Encounter in Williamstown, KY (south of Cincinnati), May 812, 2023. We hosted our inaugural event this year, and it was incredible. Not only did the back-to-back events sell out (twice!), but the families who attended left rave reviews about how the biblical teaching strengthened their faith, the resources equipped them, and the experiences made lasting family memories...

Cambridge Dictionary: A Woman Is An Adult Who . . . Identifies as Female

What is a woman? Well, many people nowadays struggle to define the terms man and woman because of their secular, anti-God worldview (or because they are scared of the culture!), which says there really isnt such a thing as man or womanand men can be women and women men. And now the Cambridge Dictionary has updated its definition of man and woman to include this gender ideology.
This online dictionarywhose tagline, ironically, is make your words meaningful...

Buddy Davis Celebrates 25 Years with Answers in Genesis

The Answers in Genesis ministry really began in late December of 1993 with Mike Zovath, Mark Looy, and me as the three founders. Obviously, its grown a lot, and weve seen God bring many, many staff members to us over the years. Some came for a season; others have remained for much longer. And one of those staff members who, along with his wife, has been part of the ministry for many years and is very much loved by everyone here at AiG and also by many of you: Buddy Davis and his wife, Kay...
