Nov/Dec Goodreads Giveaway scheduled
Hello!
I have Wyndemere's Failed Gambit and The Sorcerer's Snake scheduled for a Goodreads Giveaway from November 6 to December 6, 2025. I will be giving away 100 books of each. I will post the link at the top of my Books page on the website for easy access (you won't have to dig through all the giveaways).
Thanks again to all the readers who showed interest in my last giveaway and did not "win". I hope you will enter again! To those who "won", if you have the time, a star rating (or review) for this unknown Indie author would be greatly appreciated. Also, if you like my story, please spread the word! Readers get authors noticed.
Also, both Zyntarren books are available on Google Play under the series page for a permanent bundle discount --- $11.99 US for both. For those not fond of Amazon, I have three of my books for sale on Barnes and Noble. Paperback versions are in progress (see previous post).
A note about the US copyright office.
Until the US copyright office is unequivocally under the control of people who respect copyright law for all forms of art, I will not be publishing new works. I will be writing them, but I will not send them in for copyright, nor publish them, until I am certain there is integrity within the office.
This may result in several works coming out at once. Ice Women (novella) is ready for copyright but will not be sent in yet. By the time things are secure, I may have Book Three of the Zyntarren series and another novella written.

Barnes and Noble
Hello!
Three of my books are now up on Barnes and Noble: The Secret of the Funeral Home and my Zyntarren series.
You can get to them from my website Books page. The link is up for the eBooks. I am planning to put up the paperbacks as well, but it requires my cover artist to make the book covers from templates, and she is a very busy person. So, I will get each paperback up as she finishes each template. I have no idea what order she will decide to make the templates, so we shall see.
I am learning all about the promotions offered by Barnes and Noble and Google play. I am hoping to offer some in the next few months. I will post discount information here.
In my last post, I asked if anyone had a preference on which book was offered during my next Goodreads' giveaway. I am debating between running Sorcerer's Snake again or offering Wyndemere's failed Gambit. Let me know if you have a preference! It will be 100 copies next time.

Now onto Ice Women. I am editing! As many of you know, the US Copyright office is closed due to the government shutdown. I can still submit my work, but it will be recorded and approved only when the office reopens. This will delay the release of the novella - 30,000 words. Once copyright clears, ISBN's are assigned, and I have determined a release date, I will set up a preorder on Google Play and a giveaway on Goodreads. The blurb and cover are finished and should appear on the 'Coming Soon' section of my book page once everything starts working again.

Fifty (50) Kindle edition eBooks are being offered and will be sent via Amazon to the winners (unfortunately they are only letting me run it in the US).
I will place the link below (on 9/9 when it becomes active), so, if you are interested, you can enter via this website. You can also enter via the Giveaways' page on Goodreads; you might have to dig for the book there as I am not an author of consequence (yet). Because of that though, your chances of being one of the 50 are very good, so if you are curious about my work, this might be the time to try this latest book. It has a five star on Amazon and Google Play.
My goal when I started writing was to speak up quietly about the state of the world via dystopian romantasy. Oddly, I am finding a second harmonic voice in what reviewers call fantasy with dark edges and psychological horror something I never thought I would be able to write. I guess when you find your voice, you just go with it.
I am working on the last chapter of Ice Women. Then I will edit it and send it in for copyright. After that is formatting the eBook, I try to make my eBooks as accessible as an Indie can, and creating the paperback version. My daughter is working on an intriguing cover, and the book blurb is looking good. I am hoping to run a pre-order on Google Play later this year. I will post that in a new blog post (announcement post really).

All four of my books are up on Google Play!
Wyndemere's Failed Gambit is on sale until the end of the month for US $3.99 (on Amazon also). The Sorcerer's Snake is available for pre-order and will be on sale September 1st. Previews are available already.
I removed my chiller novella from Kobo. After trying many different things, I found it to be a difficult site to work with technically, at least for me. For now, I will stick with Amazon and Google Play as my booksellers and spend the remainder of the year writing/publishing Ice Women and slowly writing the third Zyntarren book.

Kobo update
Hello!
I finally got all the Kobo fixes done on The Secret of the Funeral Home. The Preview looks nice, however, if anyone wants to see more than 5%, I suggest going to Amazon just to look at the preview of my books. Amazon will show you 10%.
If you are interested, I also have A+ content there as well. Scroll down and you will find a bit of history on my books and why they were written. Unfortunately, Kobo does not have this feature.
Wyndemere's Failed Gambit: Book One of the Zyntarren Series was just released from Kindle Select. I will be waiting 2-3 weeks before putting it up on Kobo partly to format it correctly for Kobo (I think I have worked out all the knots via my novella, but...), but also to give Amazon time to remove the eBook from all the marketplaces. It is a safety net I am giving myself, so I will not get caught in any exclusivity problem. I did the same thing with my novella. Kobo preorder might be an option as well. I am looking into that.
All of my books, once in Kobo, will be part of the non-exclusive Kobo Plus program.

Last sales scheduled for Kindle Select
Hello!
It has been an interesting learning experience with Kobo, but The Secret of the Funeral Home is up on their website. I had to fix a Table of Contents issue yesterday, but that should be corrected in the next 72 hours. The book is also part of the non-exclusive Kobo Plus reading program.
Unlike Amazon, where I could upload a dox file, I chose to learn how to convert a dox to an epub (Calibre is wonderful), and figure out how to use Adobe digital Editions and the Kobo reader to make sure everything worked on the Kobo platform. I was warned by several article writers that there would be a learning curve when moving to another platform after using Amazon exclusively for a while. They were not kidding! I am glad I chose to learn on my novella and not one of my novels!
For those of you on Kindle Unlimited, who would like to read one of my books using KU, please see the post below regarding the removal schedule for my books.
Finally, I am going to run some last sales using the Kindle Select program for the remaining books. The sales are as follows.

Going "wide"
Hello!
First things first. The Sorcerer's Snake is up and running on Amazon and will be available until early July as part of the Kindle Unlimited program.
Second, I am slowly removing my books from Kindle Unlimited in order to place them in Kobo, Barnes and Noble (Nook) and later, possibly, Google play. Via research, I am hoping to offer my paperbacks via another printer as well. This process of not being exclusive to Amazon is called "going wide."
The first book being removed on the 22nd of April will be Secret of the Funeral Home. I will be testing the waters with that one and learning the ropes. Wyndemere's will end its KU term at the end of May, then end of June is my grandfather's diary, then, last will be my new release, The Sorcerer's Stone, on 12 July.
If you are a KU member, and would like to read my books, that is the timeline. They will still be available for purchase on Amazon, but I will not be giving them away for free anymore, via their free book promotions, because I will not be enrolled in the Kindle Select program.
I am excited to release my books to a broader worldwide audience. As I upload, you will see links to those sites as well under my books.
