New year, new books!

Before we get to the nitty-gritty, I want to thank everyone who's read the Light of Silver and loved Salvyra's and Referin's story. It means the world to me. Seriously, I poured a good portion of my creativity into that book, and it's amazing to see it enjoy some positive reception.

Now, let's talk about what's next. This year, I will be publishing at least two books. I don't have a definite release schedule, but the first one should come out in March. These are the series I plan on releasing (some books are already written, while others are either in the making or waiting in the queue);

Series 1: Grimdark. In a world where humans and dragons share their parentage, a band of templars fights the spread of a dangerous blood disease that affects both humans and dragons. Focuses on inner conflict and character depth.

Series 2: Dark fantasy/thriller. Revolves around unlikely companions who are trying to prevent the end of the universe. After the final novel, it will merge with the series 3.

Series 3: Gothic horror. The Dark Tower meets Bloodborne but without guns. A merge of realms has left the universe in ruin, and everyone is trying to survive in a world full of decay and horrific creatures.

Series 4 (the Big Beyond): Epic fantasy. A group of highly-competent warriors wage a war against demons (internal and external both). Focuses on competent but emotionally-complex characters and rich worldbuilding.

Series 5: Cyberpunk/sci-fi. An agency funded by a mysterious figure fights a drug empire that has infested their city. Full of drama, action, and suspense.

Thanks for reading, and I hope that at least one of the series catches your eye. After all, creating stories and worlds is my passion, and it's even better when you're able to share them with someone. :)

Time for something greater.

The novelettes turned out great, each of them in its own way. But short-form content is sometimes not the best way to promote expression, and that's why my two following books are going to be full-length novels.

The Light of Silver (Slavic-inspired fantasy with elements of mystery and romance) is already finished, and I'm currently working on its second draft. Novel 2 (fantasy mystery/thriller) is around 70% done, and I'm planning to finish it in the next three weeks or so.

The Light of Silver is stand-alone work, comprising one story, and won't stretch over to a sequel (its characters have grown on me, though, so who knows). Novel 2 is going to have its own episodic-like story, but it's also a setup for a series I have in mind and I've had for quite some time now.

I have been passionate about other people's universes for a long time, and I can't wait to see multiple of my own come to life through the beauty of prose.

The third novelette is in the works!

The original idea was to make a fantasy trilogy, each comprising a different tone and subgenre.

The Stone of Brimisvallir starts off as a mystery, with a lot of focus on building tension, which later bursts and evolves into an action thriller. The Butcher of Allasar is a bit slower, focusing on drama and the characters' relationships, showing how the Revenants interact with one another.

The third and final novelette, which will be called the Crystal of Farstead, will be a pure adventure, following the Revenants through Dealwen as they keep finding themselves in ridiculous scenarios. While the tonal shift in the Stone of Brimisvallir is treated more like a revelation, and the progression of the Butcher of Allasar more like a descent into madness, the Crystal of Farstead will contain a proper twist.
