Monday Musings
Hope ya’ll had a great weekend. Mine was okay, (except for the Monster)
But here’s some good news, I’m having a FB Party for FUEL!
The girls from PageCurl Publishing are taking care of it for me.
And everyone is invited!
Its Friday Jan 30th from 11 am – 3:30 pm CST.
There’s going to be prizes and all sorts of fun stuff going on. I hope you can be there.
This is my first one so I’m a tad nervous. Not to mention it’s the day after release of FUEL.
Some very cool authors are going to be t...

Guest Spotlight: Rhenna Morgan
This is Rhenna Morgan’s debut release and you certainly do not want to miss this book…UNEXPECTED EDENfrom herEden Series.
Most people believe Eden no longer exists. Lexi Merrill’s about to learn they’re wrong. A hard-working bartender with a self-sufficient backbone and a wary nature, she knows pickup lines like a second language. So, when Eryx Shantos barges into her world with too-smooth words and a body to back it up, she locks up her libido and vows to keep her distance.
Eryx has other idea...

3 Weeks until FUEL
3 weeks, ya’ll! Can you believe it? I can’t. I’m literally shaking in my boots.
But, my very sweet friend, Sheri Williams, is having me over at her place for the next three weeks. Isn’t that awesome? (one day each week until release)
I didn’t even have to bribe her—psst, don’t tell her how really crazy I am or she might back out. ;)
But she has some totally cool books of her own you need to check out while your over there checking me out. Because that’s what we do, is check each other out. *snig...

1 Line Wednesday Snippet
This week on 1lineWed it is ‘Opening lines’.
From FUEL out January 29DirtSlap #1….
She was finally free.
The air brakes hissed as the bus came to a stop at the depot. Cassie Dalton stepped off for the first time since she’d boarded nine hours ago. She tightened her long ponytail and walked down the sidewalk to peer around the bus. Her hometown was barely big enough for a high school, much less the multiple story buildings that stretched into Nashville’s blue sky.
She took a deep breath and c...

Last Words of 2014
Words from the universe…
I want you to know, Ashlynn, that I’ve ordered up another year for you.
Think I’ll call it 2015.
I’m going to put most of the same people from 2014 in it, since you all think so much alike. But there’ll also be a few new, very cool cats coming to play – give them some time to grow up though.
And I’m going to have things start off pretty much exactly where they left off in 2014, for continuity’s sake. Flips folks out too much when I don’t.
All in all, 365 more days in parad...

New Year—New Goals
2014… where do I start?
The first part of 2014 I’d given up. On everything really. I’d tried so many times to write and failed, I just quit altogether, curled up in front of the tv and just…quit. Which, btw, is so UNLIKE me. I hate doing nothing, and I hate tv even more.
Getting no where with doctors. After doc after doc told me there was nothing wrong. I went two weeks unable to open my eyes, virtually blind. (It still does it, randomly, with no warning) The severe seizure-like symptoms drawin...

Monday Musings: The Ugly Christmas Moose Chair
I love spending time with my family and Dirty Santa at my in-laws is always a riot.
This year lived up to its name.
White Elephant does not describe what we do…it’s Dirty Santa. Because, our whole family is crazy.
Story of the Ugly Christmas Moose Chair
Many moons ago… (like years and years) I bought this awful looking christmas moose chair for dirty santa, knowing my FIL would love it. I was right. He did love it and fought to keep it. A few years later, my MIL made him put it back in the dirty...

Monday Musings: Merry Christmas!

A Child is born.
I hope you all have a great Christmas this year. Kiss and hug those you love.
Try to remember, it’s not the gifts or the crazy relatives or the stress.
It’s about those you love.
About Jesus birth.
His hope, His light, His forgiveness. His amazing love.
And He loves us all.
Enjoy, eat, love and smile.
From me to you all…have a wonderful Christmas!
Love and happy reading/writing!

Friday Feels: Happy Birthday, baby girl!
Always posing for a pic.
My girl is 19 today.
How did that happen?
She is everything that is good. Super talented, smart, hard-headed, always smiling, always laughing and she’s been like that since she was born. She never cried. Ever. She talks non-stop, has big dreams and isn’t afraid to go after them. She takes way to many selfies, and always looks like she stepped off a runway. She’s been a fashionista since she was 3. (where she gets it, I have no idea. I live in jeans and tees)
And shoes? Gi...
