Honky Tonk Row…a lot like the Vegas strip.

Just a tad smaller and with a country feel.

You can’t help but get excited as you walk down Broadway. Seeing all those famous places like Tootsies at the back door of the Ryman Auditorium–the original Grand Ole Opry. They say Tootsies was the hangout for after a show at the Ryman. Kinda cool being in a place where the old stars stood. A few steps away is The Stage. Just to name a few.

I’m ready. Everything is wrapped and ready to go.

Sunday we went on a toy run for Toys for Tots. Was a blast!

For those who don’t know what it is — it’s a motorcycle run where everyone loads up with toys, meets in one spot and at the end of the ride, donate toys for kids. It’s amazing seeing 1000+ bad ass bikers wearing santa hats and going all out for the kids. It’s quite an experience. One guy was wearing a batman mask. Freakin’ cool!

Tennessee Tuesdays : Parthenon

If you haven’t been to the Parthenon in Nashville, you should go.

It’s an exact replica of the one in Greece…except fully intact.

It was built originally for the Centennial celebration and was supposed to be only temporary. Pfft! How dumb right?? Fortunately, people thought the same thing, so they redid to stand the test of time. (good call!)
