The Chronicle Gate– coming soon
Synopsis:
What if you ended up on a planet and had no idea how you got there?
On a planet called Ethereal live creatures known as the Elouse. A couple of kids discover a human child and take him in. While their dad, Jasper, tries to find the planet “Earth” (which doesn’t exist in their galaxy) their mom, Ellen, and her girls, Taylinn, and Avigale are left to welcome and care for, Sinya, who has no recollection how he got there in the first place. Sinya tries to fit in his surroundings and make friends but some are too afraid, including Taylinn and Avigale.
Taylinn finds out her dad is going away in a secret space ship, but she over hears that the mission is really “to save his family from him?” Could he mean Sinya?
Sinya starts seeing Mer-Dragons, a made-up tale told to him by Avigale and Taylinn but this Mer-Dragon talks to a being known as “Malic,” one that means danger for Jasper and the family. But no one will believe him. When Taylinn finally sees the truth of the danger for herself, she tries to alert her friends, but just like Sinya, no one will believe her, including her mother. Now in order for Sinya to get back home, these unlikely pair must team up to save Jasper, and his family from the coming danger of Mer-Dragons!

Book Cover designing
Hi, Friends of Fantasy, Well getting my new book all done and formatted. Now I’ve been figuring out how to do book cover design. Which is hard. If you ever worked with GIMP? So that’s where I am on this writing journey right now. I’ll post some pictures of my rough drafts later.

Angels for Christmas
Greetings Friends of Fantasy, I got my second book of “The Chronicle Gate” edit and sending it out to my beta readers. This first book should be available come sometime next year. Well, Christmas is just around the corner and when I think of Christmas, I think of decorations, gifts, yummy, gooey snacks, and the angel on top of the tree. When I think of angels it gets me thinking of all the angels in books and films. I’ve only seen a few like ‘Legion,’ ‘Mortal Instrument,’ and ‘Cruxim’ but I found a great list of books that have angels within the pages. 15 best books about angels
Everyone have a good Christmas and New Year and I’ll see you in 2019!

Beginning of magic
The nature of magic goes back to Pagan religion back in prehistoric times when people used the stars. The word “magic” derived from the Greek word from megas, meaning “great.”
Ancient Egyptian magic systems were among the earliest known of magic, already thousands of years old when Athens was prominent in 400 B.C. or Caesars reign in A. D. and many of the secrets remain a mystery. The magic would reign until the Middle Ages, when the Christian church condemned it as witchcraft but yet the church created Pagan holidays.
European magic before the Crusades remained largely mishmash of ancient religions and surviving folk magic. In those times secret societies and secret sorceries flourished. Basic principles included “As above, so below” the idea is that everything in the universe is connected between numbers, letters, the heavens, elements and so on. One could magically tap the creative power of the universe. This was the belief in medieval times.
In literature, however, fantasy elements began to pop up in romance books in the 13th century, mostly knight filled adventures of heroic quests of fighting dragons, yet the emphasis on love and courtly manners would distinguishes it from other kinds of epics. No one saw epic fantasy until the 20th century with the publication of “The Lord of the Rings” by J.R.R. Tolkien. This did much to establish the genre as commercially distinct and viable.
Today fantasy continues to grow as a muti-layered medium, including many subgeneres like tadeonal high fantasy, sword and sorcery, magical realism, and horror-dark fantasy.
speaking of fantasy, my debut book is available

Excerpt of ‘Chronicle Gate’ vol 1
Hello Friends of Fantasy,
How about that ‘Avengers Infinity War’? It was so epic and so much stuff happened that I had to see it twice. Not just twice but I saw it back to back in two days. Never have I done that with a movie. Wow! And we finally got to see the Guardians with some of the Avengers. I’m glad they didn’t all join in at same battle. Would have been overkill. I admit I was a little worried with having so many characters, but the story was very strong, I thought. You didn’t even think about the missing characters. Ant-Man is getting sequel and I have a feeling Hawkeye will be in there somewhere.
So last month I reviled the title of my upcoming book “The Chronicle Gate” Vol 1. And am now pleased to put out an excerpt of ch 1. I am working on the cover now. Turns out there is a learning curve in using GIMP so it may take me a few months, but I’ll get it. Sigh. Anyway, here it is!

It’s almost time…Unveiling tittle of new book!
So I finally went to see ‘Black Panther’ this weekend so I can see ‘Avengers’ next weekend. If ‘Infinity War’ is anything like ‘Black Panther’ It is going to be awesome! Marvel fans have been following this for the past eight years. I thought they’d be done but turns out Marvel has more in the works. Are you kidding me! They had a time line and now they are adding more. Can you say over load? They’re good movies, not only good action but great stories that connect together, but still enjoyable on their own stand alone movies as well, but little tid-bits that connect everything together. I’ll still go to them though. I’ve become a Marvel geek! I love how stories connect through out a series.
Speaking of connecting; I’ve just finished cleaning up my manuscript so it’s ready for kindle. It doesn’t like white space. The first in a trilogy. A fantasy; about a human ending up on another planet with species known as Elousens …And he has no idea how he got there… did I mention the human is only a child! The Chronicle Gate saga…coming soon I will release excerpt of ch. 1
So much to still do though… Still looking into getting my own ISBN, which is just a number for books so I can become a “publisher” Oh, and have to think of a cover… Anyway, much to still do…
