i’m reminded of those posts from trans women who stated in their experiences that by far most cis women they interact with in person aren’t transphobic towards them. and that recent study that showed the uk population is more accepting of trans people than they perceive each other to be (ie 2 uk polls, “do you think most people are trans friendly” vs “are you trans friendly”). i think there’s more love and acceptance in this world than transphobes want you to believe. you are not as hated as legislators and conservative news outlets would lead you to believe.

Hi. I love Hades and Hades 2 as much as everyone else but we NEED to make some noise because Supergiant is refusing to sign contracts with fair pay and anti-AI clauses. And they are straight up recasting VAs to punish VAs who are striking (sag-aftra has been striking for 7 months).
We really need to make noise here because this mistreatment will continue if we don’t.
I’m providing a link for the company contact page in the replies. Please send them a comment on their contact page and encourage others to do so. Maybe even leave a steam review about it, idk.

Stop Stealing from Authors
As an author, please please PLEASE do not download ‘free’ ebooks or listen to 'free audiobooks’ on YouTube etc.
Books take work to research and write, and author advances are already incredibly low, without us having to PAY THEM BACK to the publisher because the book isn’t earning enough. Authors are already earning far far below the minimum wage per hour of work we put in.
Many ebooks are incredibly cheap already and have regular price drops down to 99p/$0.99, and are FREE using a library app.
Audiobooks likewise can be accessed digitally for FREE via the library.
Authors in countries like my own receive a small amount of money when you access our content via the library. Money which means we can keep writing books. Using the library also gives them visitor numbers and incentivises funding, preventing library closures.
Funding piracy makes the already very hard job of writing as a career even harder and endangers library resources.
I don’t care. I’m a Free Speech Totalitarian. The moment a thought leaves your head, it belongs to all of humanity.
Awww that’s ok - what’s your job? I’d love you to come do it for free for me because I don’t believe in commerce 🥰🥰🥰
