Loco

Loco Lobo by Magnolia Belle was a fun read. Though I am not one to readily read a romance novel, I have been impressed by her other works and decided to give this one a shot. And I was not disappointed. Magnolia gives life to her characters, and you will surely find yourself drawn into her world. Who knew that playing in a band could cause so much heart ache, and yet could complete one’s self with just the pound of a drum.

Back to Texas

I found Little Wolf Ranch by Magnolia Belle, an exciting romp through Texas. Magnolia Belle knows how to capture the essence of the 1800’s, and knows how to drive a reader into her story, take them on a wild ride, then leave them wanting more. From page one I could not put this novel down. Five stars to a fantastic read.

A real western winner

From page one of the novel Kuy Syan Joshua. I could not put it down, and when I did, it left me thinking about it. Everything that I have read from this wonderful author has been great, and keeps on getting better. You will not be disappointed with this one, and I can’t wait to read the next.
Magnolia puts you into the Texas sunrise and makes sure that you feel the heat of the day as a young man grows to be a warrior. And learns what it means to be caught in the middle of the white man’s world and the Kiowa Indian’s.
Without a hesitation I give this novel 5 stars.

This years must read

Dead Awakening by Katrina Michaels is the second in her Preternatural Investigation Agency series. I give five stars for Katrina’s thoughtful and gripping story telling. I found myself caught up in the story line, and plot twists. Who knew that werewolves, vampires, and warlocks could be the heroes in such a way that you look at normal humans as the bad guys.
Not being one who gives away story line details. I can tell you that this novel will be sitting on my favorite list for the year to come. I can’t wait till the next novel in the series to come out.

A book for young and old

Great for the young adult or anyone who is young at heart, K.S. Krueger’s novel Traegonia The Sunbow Prophecy is a romp through the woods taking the reader into the world that exists within our own. K.S. has created a world that is unique with a strong message of saving our environment. You won’t be disappointed with this excursion into the forests within your mind.

A new voice

Ami has found a new voice in this novel, giving her characters a life that grasps the reader, bringing them into a troubled Alaska of the future. A future that is not welcoming to the aliens that have secretly intergraded themselves into the Alaskan population, and in the years that they have lived here, they have produced a new breed of man. A cross between alien and human, making a new breed of man with powers beyond belief.
Once you start this novel you will not want to put it down, and when you finish you will certainly want more.

A way with words

I am very impressed by Magnolia Belle’s way with the written word. She weaves a story that is complex. But yet is compelling to the reader in such a simple way. She touches the reader’s heart by giving life like characters and a storyline that crosses the line in a time when the wild frontier was new and every day was a struggle to survive.
The story revolves around Lana Cooper, a young girl in the wilds of Texas. Who finds herself smitten by a young Kiowa warrior. You will certainly find yourself enthralled as you follow her struggle to come to terms with her heart. Though her mind tells her to conform to the wishes of her parents, and to marry a solider in the U.S. army.
Once you read this novel. You will want to pick up more of Magnolia’s work. I for sure am looking forward to her next installment in this series that is sure to be a hit.

gargoyle phrophies is a winner

Christopher Payne’s first novel, The Gargoyle Prophecies, is a sure fire winner, a five star blast that assuredly marks this new author as a person to watch for. Christopher not only makes his characters come to life, he put the reader right into the mix. I could not put this novel down and am hoping that the next installment comes out soon.
From page one the reader is slammed into the mixed up world of Stefani Hernandez. You follow this young lady as the world that she thinks she has known is flipped upside down, and the world that could only exist in your imagination comes to life.
This novel is a must read for every fan of horror, fantasy and science fiction. Christopher crosses all three aspects and does it very well.

Ami Blackwelders Prisoner's of Pride

Prisoners of Pride is the second installment of Ami Blackwelder’s Guardian of the Gate saga. Ami took the first person perspective of Michael Cole, letting the reader see his world and the struggle he has with his love, Evelyn. Weaving the reader through her imagination, Ami takes you into the world of Emeralusia. A world filled with elfin magic and beauty, which is slowly being overcome by war that is ravaging the land. Will Michael survive in this world so unlike his own. You must get this novel and find out. My only question is will there be a third book in the series? I for one certainly hope so.

fast paced and a fun read

Taking the best of elvin fantasy and modern day detective novels, Shawn Oetzel makes Dying Moon a fast paced trip through the streets of Los Angeles. I found myself swept into the story immediately, and urging the stories hero, Kalen Or’Wain, and its heroine, Amy Sommers, to win over Kalen’s evil nemesis, Dre’ Fao’lain. Reaching the end of this high impact novel, I found myself wanting more, and I cannot wait for Shawn’s next novel to come out.
