Interview

Hey guys!
Well, I taped the radio spot the other day. It was so much fun, sitting in the chair across from the DJ while he asked me questions about myself and the book. I was a little nervous when he asked me to read a paragraph or two, but I did it.

It will air next Sunday night, not this Sunday night at 10:00 on channel 1290 am talk radio, a subsidiary of Clear Channel Radio.
If you are out of the Savannah area, you could probably do a Google search and see what station Clear Channel is in your area.

Anyway, I'm trying to write some more so I probably won't be updating for a couple of days.

Roadtrip

So, looks like I'll be going to Columbia S.C. this morning. A friend of mine, my best friend from childhood, won tickets to audition for "The Biggest Loser" and asked me if I wanted the other ticket. Uh, Yeah!
She's picking me up in a few minutes so I gotta run.

Update

Hey friends and fans. Well my baby girl didn't make it through but it's cool. She was a bit bummed out for a couple of hours, then she started making plans for her next move. Maybe she could join a band, or start one of her own. She could record a demo and send it off to some record labels. She has also talked about performing karaoke'. I knew this little hiccup wouldn't keep my baby down. She just picked herself up and brushed herself off.
I'm very proud of how mature she acted; no breaking down, no sobbing, maybe a little pity party but that was short lived.
Those of you who have heard her know how great she is. It's just a matter of finding the right person who also thinks so.
I'm having trouble with my laptop. It keeps eating chargers, so I'm typing on the desktop in my husband's office. I'm afraid I won't be staying online like I usually am but I will be checking in periodically.

American Idol

Okay, so we went to the arena at 4:30 this morning and got our wristbands at around 7:00 a.m. Those people have got it down to a science.
Now we wait until Monday for the audition process.

Update

Hi all you beautiful fans!
Well, early tomrrow morning we are headed to New Orleans for American Idol auditions. Wish us luck, light a candle, say a prayer, burn some sage, sacrifice a small animal, j/k, whatever you do, hope that Roxy will move on to the important auditions. You know, the one in front of the celebrity judges.
Then next week I will be going to 1290 A.M. talk radio to tape a one hour segment on me and my book for next Sunday night 10:00 p.m. EST.
I'm very excited with everything that's going on.
