I can say—not as a patriotic bromide, but with full knowledge of the necessary metaphysical, epistemological, ethical, political and esthetic roots—that the United States of America is the greatest, the noblest and, in its original founding principles, the only moral country in the history of the world. Ayn Rand, Philosophy: Who Needs It

America's founding ideal was the principle of individual rights. Nothing more—and nothing less. The rest—everything that America achieved, everything she became, everything "noble and just," and heroic, and great, and unprecedented in human history—was the logical consequence of fidelity to that one principle. The first consequence was the principle of political freedom, i.e., an individual's freedom from physical compulsion, coercion or interference by the government. The next was the economic implementation of political freedom: the system of capitalism. Ayn Rand

It took centuries of intellectual, philosophical development to achieve political freedom. It was a long struggle, stretching from Aristotle to John Locke to the Founding Fathers. The system they established was not based on unlimited majority rule, but on its opposite: on individual rights, which were not to be alienated by majority vote or minority plotting. The individual was not left at the mercy of his neighbors or his leaders: the Constitutional system of checks and balances was scientifically devised to protect him from both. This was the great American achievement—and if concern for the actual welfare of other nations were our present leaders' motive, this is what we should have been teaching the world. Ayn Rand Capitalism: The Unknown Ideal, 138.

Islamic Jihad in the Modern Era of Dhimmitude

Caroline Glick joins us and takes up arms against our internal enemies -- Western allies (elites, apologists, propagandists and anti-semites) cowed and subjugated by Islamic supremacism (a term coined by Robert Spencer, along with Islamorealism).

Our World: The Age of Dissimulation Caroline Glick, Jerusalem Post

Years from now, when historians seek an overarching concept to define our times, they could do worse than refer to it as the Age of Dissimulation. Today our leading minds devote their energies and cognitive powers to figuring out new ways to hide reality from themselves and the general public.

Take US President Barack Obama's senior counterterrorism advisor for example. On Sunday, John Brennan spoke on Fox News about the latest attempted Islamic terrorist attack on American soil.

Since the Obama administration has barred US officials from referring to terrorists as terrorists and effectively barred US officials from acknowledging that Islamic terrorists are Muslims, Brennan simply referred to the Islamic terrorists in Yemen who tried to send bombs to synagogues in Chicago as "individuals."

Today, practically, the only individuals willing to speak honestly about who Islamic supremacists are and what they want are the Islamic supremacists themselves.

For instance, in an interview last week with Reuters, the Islamic supremacist Hamas movement's "foreign minister" Mahmoud al- Zahar told the Christian West, "You do not live like human beings. You do not [even] live like animals. You accept homosexuality. And now you criticize us?"

Al-Zahar also made the case for Islamic feminism. As he put it, "We are the ones who respect women and honor women ... not you. You use women as an animal. She has one husband and hundreds of thousands of boyfriends. You don't know who is the father of your sons, because of the way you respect women."

Finally, al-Zahar claimed that Westerners have no right to question Islam or criticize it. In his words, "Is it a crime to Islamize the people? I am a Muslim living here according to our tradition. Why should I live under your tradition? We understand you very well. You are poor people. Morally poor. Don't criticize us because of what we are."

Al-Zahar can sleep easy. The citizens of the West have rarely heard anyone in any positions of power and influence criticize Islamic supremacists "because of what they are."

In fact, the most remarkable thing about al- Zahar's interview was not what he said but that Reuters decided to publish what he said. By letting its readers learn what al-Zahar thinks of them, Reuters inadvertently gave Westerners a glimpse at the simple truth its editors and their counterparts throughout the Western media routinely purge from coverage of current events.

Rather than discuss the nature and threat of Islamic supremacism, the Western media along with nearly all Western political leaders and academics deny and dissimulate. Rather than address the threat, they accept the Islamic line and blame Israel for everything bad that happens in the world.

THE ONE group of people that can almost be forgiven for this crime against reality is the non-Muslims who live under Islamic rule. On Sunday, we received a grim reminder of the plight of such minorities with the Islamic terror attack on Baghdad's largest church, the Our Lady of Salvation Catholic church.

As some one hundred worshipers celebrated evening mass, Islamic terrorists stormed the church. According to an eyewitness account, they walked straight up to the priest administering the mass and executed him. The Muslim terrorists then took the Christian worshipers hostage.

As Iraqi military forces stormed the church under US military supervision, the Islamic terrorists threw grenades at the worshipers and detonated their bomb belts. By Monday, the death toll had reached 52.

It will be interesting to see how Catholic officials in Iraq and throughout the world respond to this attack. At the Vatican's Synod on the status of Christians in the Middle East last month, Emmanuel III Delly, the head of the Chaldean Catholic Church in Iraq proclaimed, "The population of [Iraq] …is 24 million, all Muslims, with whom we live peacefully and freely…Christians are good with their fellow Muslims and in Iraq there is mutual respect among them."

As the noted Islamic expert Robert Spencer wrote last week in Frontpage Magazine, Emmanuel has not always been so outspoken in his praise of Muslim Iraqis. In 2008, when US forces were still in charge in Iraq, Emmanuel made a statement that more accurately reflected the plight of his co-religionists.

Then he said, "Christians are killed, chased out of their homes before the very eyes of those who are supposed to be responsible for their safety…The situation in some parts of Iraq is disastrous and tragic. Life is a Calvary: there is no peace or security… Everyone is afraid of kidnapping."

[....]

FEAR OF Islamic massacres of Christians – like the one in Baghdad on Sunday – goes a long way towards explaining anti-Jewish and pro-Islamic pronouncements by Christian clergy in the Islamic world. But what can explain the West's embrace of lies about Islam?

Why would people who do not live under the jackboot of the likes of Hizbullah, Hamas or their sister groups in places like Iraq obsequiously parrot untruths about Islamic history and theology and deny the very existence of Islamic supremacism?

The most notable case of such behavior in recent weeks came with the UN Educational, Science and Cultural Organization's Executive Board's declarations about Israel and Jewish history. At its October 21 meeting, the governing board of the UN agency charged with naming and preserving world heritage sites engaged in a shocking episode of historic revisionism in the service of Islamic supremacism.

UNESCO's board issued five declarations regarding Israel. In addition to its routine condemnations of the security fence, Israeli sovereignty in Jerusalem and Israel's refusal to give Hamas control over its border with Israel, UNESCO's board asserted that the Tomb of the Patriarchs in Hebron, where Abraham, Issac, Jacob, Sarah, Rebecca and Leah are all buried, is a mosque. Rachel's Tomb, where Rachel is buried, is also a mosque, according to UNESCO's governing body.

It is not surprising that UNESCO's Muslim members pushed for these declarations. Islam is a supersessionist religion. It claims that all the Jewish patriarchs and matriarchs as well as all the Jewish prophets, kings and judges were Muslim. It similarly claims that Jesus, Mary and the apostles were Muslims. It is standard Islamic practice to transform Jewish and Christian holy sites in lands conquered by Islam into mosques.

It is this Islamic practice that led Yasser Arafat to shock and disgust Yitzhak Rabin in July 1995 when he proclaimed that, "Rachel was my grandmother."

Arafat's statement was the first time that a Muslim leader in modern times claimed Rachel's grave is a mosque. Arafat made his preposterous claim in the course of negotiations about the disposition of Rachel's Tomb in Bethlehem. Due to its significance to Jews, Israel demanded full security control over the tomb. Arafat based his counter-claim on standard Islamic historical revisionism.

While Rabin rejected Arafat's baseless assertion, last month UNESCO's executive committee, whose membership includes France, Belgium, Spain, Japan, Poland, Germany, Greece, Haiti, Italy, the US and India accepted Arafat's wholly false rendition of the historical record. In so doing, they collaborated with an Islamic attempt to eradicate Jewish history.

Why would they do this? They are not bishops who have to worry that their communities will be annihilated if they step out of line.

No doubt, fear of Islamic terrorism fuels some of their behavior. But fear can't be the full explanation. Most Westerners have no contact with Muslims. And Islamic terrorist attacks in the West are not a daily occurrence.

The West's newfound obsession with Islamophobia probably also has something to do with it. Western elites are terrified of being accused of racism. This is particularly true when – as is the case with Islamophobia – the charge is leveled on behalf of people who were oppressed in the past by Westerners.

But while fear of the charge of Islamophobia does play a role in Western kowtowing to Islamic supremacists, the West's aversion to the perception that it is oppressing those it once oppressed fails to provide an adequate explanation for its willingness to collaborate with Islamic supremacist attempts to blot out Jewish history. The West's history of oppressing Jews is far bloodier and longer than its record of oppressing Muslims.

In the end, there is only one credible explanation for the West's willingness to lie about the nature and goals of Islamic supremacism. There is only one credible explanation for the West's willingness to collaborate with Islamic supremacists as they purge the historical record of the Jewish roots of Western civilization. There is only one explanation for the West's willingness to accept the Islamic supremacist assertion that Israel is to blame for Islamic aggression against Jews and Christians alike.

You must read the whole thing. Oh yes, there's more.

The Democrats' War on America

By their fruits we shall know them, and so we know them. This is who and what the Democrats are. They are at war with the American people. It was Obama and Hillary, his Secretary of State, who reported the American people to the most egregious abusers of basic human rights, the UN 'Human Rights" Council, which includes Cuba, Saudi Arabia, China, Russia, Libya, Angola, Mauritania, Qatar, and Malaysia. Child slavery, anyone?

This is the first time ever that the US  is facing scrutiny from the evil forces of the UN Human Rights Council. Thank you, Obama. More proof that he is either an America-hater or a madman.

Seven countries accused of human rights violations, including Libya, Angola and Malaysia, won seats on the UN Human Rights Council......
[...]

All 14 countries easily topped the 97 votes required from the 192-member world body. Libya, which currently holds the presidency of the General Assembly, received the lowest number of votes — 155 — while Angola got 170 and Malaysia 179.

In addition to these three countries, human rights groups criticized the poor rights records of Thailand, Uganda, Mauritania and Qatar which also won seats.

The seven other countries that won seats were Maldives, Ecuador, Guatemala, Spain, Switzerland, Moldova and Poland.

America is under attack from within at the highest levels of power. Barack Hussein Obama's policies are bringing America to her knees. With a consistency that can only come from deeply held conviction, Barack Hussein Obama is damaging the office of the presidency and compromising American sovereignty.

As soon as he became president, he took decisive steps to submit American sovereignty to the will of international bodies. First Obama attacked America by suing Arizona for passing a law that merely reflected federal immigration law. Now the Obama administration has included the Arizona state immigration law in a report of human rights abuses to the UN, that collective negation of humanity and home to the worst human rights abusers in the world.

Obama is an internationalist, and this has more ominous implications for American sovereignty.

"What transnationalism, at bottom, is all about,s depriving American citizens of their powers of representative government by selectively imposing on them the favored policies of Europe's leftist elites." In contrast, "proponents of a nationalist jurisprudence view 'foreign legal precedents' as 'an impermissible imposition on the exercise of American sovereignty.'" legal expert M. Edward Whelan, president of the Ethics and Public Policy Center, the former general counsel to the U.S. Senate Committee on the Judiciary, former principal deputy assistant attorney general for the Office of Legal Counsel in the U.S. Department of Justice

Obama's latest attack on America may shock Americans, but readers of The Post-American Presidency: The Obama Administration's War on America will nod their heads in recognition. It's all in my book, the relinquishing of American sovereignty and Obama's internationalism.

US faces first scrutiny by UN rights council Breitbart

The United States will come under the spotlight at the UN's top human rights assembly's for the first time over the coming week along with other countries that face scrutiny by the Human Rights Council.

The 12-day session of the 47 member council starting on Monday will include regular "universal periodic reviews" of 16 members of the United Nations, including the United States on November 5.

Several dozen non governmental organisation are expected to lobby the debate on the US human rights record, while Washington will also defend its record.

Some 300 US civil liberties and community groups in the US Human Rights Network on Monday called on the Obama administration to bring "substandard human rights practices" in the United States into line with international standards.

The United States only agreed to join the Council in May 2009, after the Bush administration had shunned the body which replaced its similar though discredited predecessor, the UN human rights commission, in 2006.

The Network produced a 400-page report criticising "glaring inadequacies in the United States? human rights record," including the "discriminatory impact" of foreclosures, "widespread" racial profiling and "draconian" immigration policies.

"Advocates across America have not only documented substandard human rights practices which have persisted in the US for years, but also those that reflect the precipitous erosion of human rights protections in the US since 9/11," said Sarah Paoletti of the Network.

The United States has also faced widespread criticism by UN rights monitors in recent years over its handling of terror suspects and suspected torture, while concern over the conduct of wars in Iraq and Afghanistan has been revived in recent months with "Wikileak" reports on leaked confidential documents.

The other UN member states scheduled for review in this Council session will be Andorra, Bulgaria, Croatia, Honduras, Jamaica, Liberia, Libya, Lebanon Malawi, Maldives, the Marshall Islands, Mauritania, Micronesia, Mongolia, and Panama.

Each public, four-year, review is based on a report by the country, a compilation of non governmental organisation assessments and a one day debate with comments by its peers. No action is taken.

Obama Sends his Hafiz Envoy to Support Global Islamic Supremacist OIC

Obama's envoy to the global Islamic supremacist organization, the OIC, is a liar. That may sound harsh, but the truth can be.

Rashad Hussain, Special Envoy to the Organization of the Islamic Conference, is a hafiz, someone who has memorized the Qur'an, so he knows. He knows that the peaceful text he is quoting has been abrogated (canceled/superseded) by the later chapters of the Qur'an. Worse still, he cites a quote stolen from the Talmud, Jewish teaching stolen outright by Muhammad from the Jewish people (like much of early, peaceful, abrogated teachings of the Qur'an).

Whoever destroys a soul, it is considered as if he destroyed an entire world. And whoever saves a life, it is considered as if he saved an entire world.

- Mishnah Sanhedrin 4:5; Babylonian Talmud Tractate Sanhedrin 37a

Further, this idea, the Islamic supremacist narrative that Muslims are being "scapegoated," or that "the things you can say about Islam you can't say about any other faith," is a bold face lie. Muslims are slaughtering non-Muslims and more moderate Muslims across the world. We are fending off jihadists across the West everyday. Why doesn't the hafiz address that? Muslims are not the victims, they are the victimizers. This is so outrageous and insulting, and it is made all the worse as it is coming from Obama, enemy of the West.

Imagine Obama's hafiz making these remarks at the very same time as a worldwide attack on synagogues was thwarted -- twenty bomb packages and counting.

Obama adviser decries anti-Islam sentiments

"The things you can say about Islam you can't say about any other faith," Rashad Hussain, Special Envoy to the Organization of the Islamic Conference, said Saturday night at the annual fund-raising dinner of the Institute for Social Policy and Understanding, a Muslim-founded think tank based in Clinton Township. "During tough economic times, groups that are seen to be the other ... the scapegoating can increase."

Hussain travels the world on behalf of the U.S. government to improve outreach to the Muslim world. Metro Detroit has a sizeable Muslim population.

Hussain said he's concerned about the increasing vitriol directed at Muslims, which he said may be due to their increasing visibility in the U.S.

It's a "reaction to a lot of progress made by Muslim communities," he said.

It's a reaction to Islamic supremacism, gender apartheid, suppression and oppression.

When he was growing up in the U.S, Hussain recalled that many didn't know too much about Islam. But now, it's more well known, he said.Hussain said that the backlash against Muslim-Americans has precedent in the U.S., as African-Americans, Jewish-Americans, Irish-Americans, Japanese-Americans, and Chinese-Americans have faced similar challenges.

He urged the Muslim-American crowd at the Livonia dinner to form alliances with other groups, noting that Jewish-Americans have been active in fighting for the rights of other groups in American history.

One challenge for Muslim-Americans, said Hussain, is that "Muslims are still seen as an aggressor" because of terrorists like Osama bin Laden and the Times Square bomber.

At one point during his talk, Hussain recited in fluent Arabic a verse from the Quran, Islam's holy book, that says killing one innocent life is like killing all of humanity. He said that there is a consensus of Islamic scholars that terrorism is against their faith, but "we continue to lose people to this ideology" of extremism.

One challenge is the Internet, where young Muslims are enticed to become terrorists, he said.

Hussain also attacked ethnic divisions among Muslim-Americans.

A graduate of Yale Law School, Hussain once worked for U.S. Rep. John Conyers (D-Detroit) on the House Judiciary Committee. He is a hafiz, meaning someone who has memorized the Quran.

He had breakfast Saturday morning at the Islamic Center of America in Dearborn before his talk at the dinner by the Institute for Social Policy and Understanding. The Institute is a think tank founded primarily by South Asian Muslims who hope it one day becomes as noted as think tanks like the Brookings Institution. Other speakers during the dinner noted the importance of think tanks in forming policy in the U.S.

Saturday night's dinner raised about $226,000 for the Institute.

Big Government, Pamela Geller: Stealing the Election

It's up to us. Watch your polling places. Volunteer. Bring cameras and audio recorders. Document the fraud.

BG VOTE
Check out my latest column at Big Government:

Stealing the Election Pamela Geller, Big Government

Fifteen Missouri counties have more people registered to vote than they have people who are aged eighteen or older. This is egregious, illegal and contemptuous of the rule of law. And it is just the tip of the iceberg.

Voter fraud is rampant. , no matter who you vote for. And who are the voting machine technicians? Members of the Service Employees International Union (SEIU), which donated $500,000 to the Patriot Majority PAC, which in turn has spent $1.3 million to destroy Sharron Angle — who is running against Reid.

In Craven County, North Carolina, a man voted the straight Republican ticket, only to see the machine register his votes as if he had voted straight Democrat.

In Chicago, thousands of votes submitted through the new vote-by-mail system may not be counted. In Daytona Beach, Florida, City Commissioner Derrick Henry was arrested last week for absentee ballot fraud during his re-election campaign earlier this year.

In southeastern Pennsylvania's 8th district, according to Thomas A. Shakely in National Review, voters "were receiving notices warning that their right to vote could be in jeopardy if they did not return an absentee ballot to the 'Pennsylvania Voter Assistance Office,' a fictitious agency headquartered at a post office box. The letters…were underwritten by the Pennsylvania Democratic State Committee."

This comes on top of the sharp increase in Democrat absentee ballot requests in Pennsylvania in 2008 — probably because they threw away non-Democrat requests. This tactic resembles incidents in Texas and Arizona. And in Harris County, Texas, a former SEIU member registered 23,207 fraudulent voters. There are rampant incidents of voter intimidation being documented in Harris County.

Americans, be prepared: the same thing could occur in your town, at your polling place, on November 2.

"New York's Republican Candidate for Senate is a Lobbyist for Terror"

I cannot support a terror supporter in the New York Senate race, much as I dislike the Hillary sock puppet, Kirsten Gillibrand. The Republicans must do a better job of vetting their candidates -- we expect quislings like this from the jihad-loving Democrats. Much thanks to Julia Gorin for her in-depth investigation into Joseph DioGuardi.

New York's Republican Candidate for Senate is a Lobbyist for Terror

New York Republicans chose Joseph DioGuardi to be their candidate against Democrat Kirsten Gillibrand in this week's Senate elections, but post-primary polls showed they know nothing about their candidate. "What's really noteworthy about this [primary win]," read an NPR election blog, "is that…DioGuardi is more of a blank slate…Sixty one percent [of those surveyed] didn't know enough about him to form an opinion."

The same day, Newsmax reported, "A new Quinnipiac poll shows Democratic Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand leading her Republican rival, virtually unknown Joe DioGuardi, by just 48 percent to 42 percent….'DioGuardi makes a race of it against her, even though three-fifths of New Yorkers don't know much about him.'"

DioGuardi benefits from his being unknown, something that is pretty odd for a former Congressman and ethnic lobbyist about whom tons of information is available on the internet, along with information about his criminal and terrorist friends from the al Qaeda-supported Kosovo Liberation Army.

Joe DioGuardi is masquerading as an off-the-shelf, GOP, pro-life, small-government conservative. But what he also is — and the typical Tea Party candidate is not — is a supporter of a radical terrorist organization tied to Albanian organized crime, which is rampant in New York. (Top Albanian Aide Arrested in NYC Crime Ring Bust; "Ethnic Albanian Thugs…So Violent Prosecutors [including Giuliani] Need Guards"; "FBI: Albanian mobsters 'new Mafia'"; "Feds bust Albanian mobsters' Astoria gambling ring".)

Is this a cynical and discriminatory ploy to taint Joe DioGuardi, and an entire nationality, with the criminal element that every ethnic group is entitled to? If only. The sad fact is that the Albanian mafia and DioGuardi's's KLA are inextricably intertwined. And thanks to him, the United States is now intertwined with them both.

The short version of the sordid DioGuardi tale appears on what seems to be an entirely accurate

Joe DioGuardi Tied to Muslim Terror Group, Albania… - MyVideo

But the longer story of Joe DioGuardi gets worse.

As founder and president of the Albanian American Civic League, DioGuardi has been lobbying Capitol Hill since the 1980s to promote the Greater Albania agenda, starting with the "liberation" of Kosovo. A Feb. 1998 statement on the AACL website reads: "The Civic League issues a public declaration, "In Defense of the Albanian National Cause," in which it announces its support for the Kosova Liberation Army…."

The KLA is a narco-terrorist crime syndicate that traffics internationally in heroin, humans, weapons, cars, etc. — and has ties to a slew of garden-variety terrorists and radicals. A month after the "Kosovars" unilaterally declared Kosovo theirs in Feb. 2008, a Washington Times editorial titled "Europe's New Jihadist Statelet?" reminded readers, "The KLA was among the first international terrorist groups linked to al Qaeda in the late 1990s." It's a warning bell that was sounded in the months after 9/11 by Wall St. Journal-Europe, in a piece titled "Al Qaeda's Balkan Links."

The equation is simple. Joe DioGuardi supports the KLA. The KLA is a criminal and terrorist organization. Therefore, Joe DioGuardi supports crime and terror. There is no easy way around it.

In May 1999, at the height of our bombing Europe on the KLA's behalf, former counter-narcotics agent Michael Levine made the following comments in an interview with The New American magazine's William Norman Grigg:

Backing the KLA is simply insane. My contacts within the DEA are quite frankly terrified, but there's not much they can say without risking their jobs. These guys [the KLA] have a network that's active on the streets of this country. The Albanian mob is a scary operation. In fact, the Mafia relied on Albanian hit-men to carry out a lot of their contracts. They're the worst elements of society that you can imagine, and now, according to my sources in drug enforcement, they are politically protected.

It's the same old story. Ten years ago we were arming and equipping the worst elements of the mujahideen in Afghanistan — drug traffickers, arms smugglers, anti-American terrorists. We later paid the price when the World Trade Center was bombed, and we learned that some of those responsible had been trained by us. Now we're doing the same thing with the KLA, which is tied in with every known Middle and Far Eastern drug cartel. Interpol, Europol, and nearly every European intelligence and counter-narcotics agency has files open on drug syndicates that lead right to the KLA, and right to Albanian gangs in this country.

In his piece last February explaining the Islamic "Green Corridor" (or "Green Route") that is to infiltrate Europe via the Balkans (dismissed, like all Serbian warnings, as "propaganda" even as it takes shape before our eyes), author Srdja Trifkovic wrote, "By the end of 1998 U.S. DEA officials complained that the transformation of the KLA from terrorists into freedom fighters hampered their ability to stem the flow of Albanian-peddled heroin into America." (Footnotes in the article include The Washington Times from May 4, 1999: "KLA Rebels Train in Terrorist Camps; bin Laden offers Financing Too," preceded the day before by "KLA Finances Fight with Heroin Sales – Terror Group Linked to Crime Network.")

A London Daily News article last year titled "Albanian hit men on hire in London for £5,000" read:

In an undercover investigation into criminal gangs operating in north London Albanians who fought in the KLA during the bloody Balkans conflict against Serbia, now have established themselves as formidable figures in [London's] underworld. Experienced users of guns and knives the Albanians are one of the most able assassins in London. The war in Kosovo fuelled the spread of the Albanian Mafia after numerous gangsters disguised as Kosovar 'refugees' found their way into European countries….

This reality was intimated by reporter Grigg back in another May 1999 article:

U.S. soldiers called upon to enforce a "peace" accord that turns Kosovo over to the KLA might be interested to know that they are risking their lives on behalf of a criminal syndicate that for years has pumped heroin into the U.S. and threatened the lives of American law enforcement officials…Unlike other ethnic criminal syndicates…the Albanian narco-mafia was willing to make war directly on U.S. law enforcement officials. One U.S. Attorney active in prosecuting "Balkan connection" gangsters learned that a contract had been taken out on his life by an ethnic Albanian defendant, as well as upon Assistant U.S. Attorney Alan M. Cohen and Drug Enforcement Administration agent Jack Delmore.

As for the Kosovo that DioGuardi's "freedom fighters" had us wrest, former chief prosecutor of mostly Serbian defendants at the Yugoslavia tribunal, Carla Del Ponte, agrees with the characterization of it by international human rights organizations, UN workers and countless of others, describing it as "a land with no laws or institutions, a land of blood feuds ruled by the thugs who present themselves as heroes of the alleged suffering Albanian people." The Sunday Times of London put it more bluntly in an April 2006 headline reading "Albanian Gangs Running Kosovo."

Even during the KLA's fight for "freedom," a May 1999 London Times article read, "Reports from Macedonia and Albania confirm that KLA 'minders' ensure that all refugees peddle the same line when speaking to Western journalists. KLA gangsters rob them of any remaining cash. And KLA pimps driving Mercedes kidnap refugee girls for prostitution in Italy."

In her 2008 book The Hunt: War Criminals and Me, Del Ponte mentions what law enforcement personnel refer to as "the Albanian reach." Serbian newspaper Glas Javnosti reported:

She claims that UNMIK [UN Mission in Kosovo] and KFOR [NATO in Kosovo] officials and even some ICTY [International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia] judges in the Hague tribunal are fearful for their lives if connected to the KLA crime investigations, and feel threatened by the so-called Albanian reach. In her book, Del Ponte says that those few and far between investigations of the terrorist KLA were the hardest during her appointment as the ICTY chief prosecutor, that her researchers were confronted by the clans, vendettas and political pressures, and that "policemen from Bern and Brussels and all the way to Bronx" are well aware about the insurmountable difficulties when it comes to the attempts to investigate Albanian organized crime.

A compilation done on a site monitoring the criminal activity of the KLA and its variously-monikered affiliates (which employ plenty of the same fighters) — and monitoring the 2001 Albanian insurgency in Macedonia, which Americans missed despite opening that door — relates the following about our new best friends, who moved on like clockwork to terrorize that neighboring country and southern Serbia:

The Sydney Morning Herald reported that "Albanian clans are funnelling the [sex trade] profits into the coffers of former Kosovo Liberation Army strongmen who are fighting Serbs in the Presevo Valley and attacking their Slavic neighbours in Macedonia." …The Financial Times reported that "diplomats said the [Albanian] diaspora, which has a significant presence in drugs and prostitution rackets, particularly in Switzerland, Belgium and Germany, is providing financing and weapons to the rebels."…Business AM reported that "there was ample evidence available two summers ago about the ties of the so-called Albanian national liberation struggle to organised crime, and how intertwined the Albanian mafia was — and still is — with the political militants."

It is somewhat surprising that DioGuardi doesn't want voters to know all this, considering how proud he is of his lobby's achievement in getting us to train and arm the Albanian insurgents while bin Laden and Iran were doing the same in order "to turn the region into their main base for Islamic armed activity in Europe," as The London Times reported in March 1998. And in an October 2004 bulletin, World Net Daily's Joseph Farah noted, "Credible intelligence indicates that Iran's Revolutionary Guards Corps…[had] been training KLA members and funneling millions of dollars through Bosnia and Albania to buy arms for the KLA…corroborated by Director of the U.S. House Congressional Task Force on Terrorism and Unconventional Warfare Yossef Bodansky…" Meanwhile, Grigg had it as early as 1999: "Iran is actively arming and supporting the KLA, and Iran's terrorist network has extended its reach into Italy by way of KLA-aligned ethnic Albanians residing there."

Nonetheless, in his 2008 endorsement of John McCain, an early Albanian purchase who introduced a resolution calling for U.S. ground troops to further the KLA insurrection (defeated by fellow Republicans), DioGuardi gushed, "McCain did everything that we asked of him to the benefit of the Albanian people, including arming the KLA."

Also in 2008, in an article titled "Group Tied to al-Qaida Backs McCain for Prez," World Net Daily quoted DioGuardi saying, "We support any politician, Republican or Democrat, who understands the problems of the Balkans the way we do."

This should give Republicans some pause. DioGuardi reveals that his priorities aren't ideological but tribal, and he flaunts them heavily. Similar sentiments were expressed by other Albanians when asked whom they were rooting for, McCain or Obama, with one replying, "Kosovars will love either candidate as long as they continue to love us." There is your Albanian "pro-Americanism" in a nutshell. Highly conditional.

Lest the McCain connection cause too much cognitive dissonance in conservative minds and hearts, remember that the KLA is impartial: "Kerry Campaign Financed by Terrorists;" indeed, the group is as bipartisan as its congressional supporters.

Futilely trying to warn New York Republicans before the primaries with his article "Joseph DioGuardi, Terrorist Enabler," writer Eugene Girin noted:

During NATO's assault on Serbia, DioGuardi was pictured burning a Yugoslav flag at a pro-KLA demonstration. The future Senate hopeful was wearing a baseball hat with the KLA insignia. If another aspiring senator was photographed at a pro-Hezbollah rally wearing Hezbollah insignia and burning an Israeli flag, his political career would be over immediately.

…DioGuardi's noxious activism also extended to Macedonia. During that country's September 2001 offensive against the NLA [KLA extension] insurgents in the Tetovo region, DioGuardi and his wife demanded that President Bush intervene on the insurgents' behalf and warned that "massive human rights violations" are taking place. What the duo really demanded was American help in the dismemberment of Macedonia and the creation of another Kosovo-like enclave in the Tetovo region of Macedonia…The DioGuardis had the gall to release their report on September 12, 2001….

Similarly, in a late 2001 article, Chris Deliso — author of the 2007 book The Coming Balkan Caliphatewrote the following (internal documentation added):

The AACL has been a major fundraiser for Albanian ventures abroad, and has contacts with other, less peaceful, Albanian groups: for example, the AACL was involved in a 1999 rally in Washington, where it marched with the KLA and the militant "Homeland Calling" group. This organization sent fighters to Kosovo in 1999, and more recently it sent volunteers to fight for the NLA. A New York Times article (March 19, 2001) chronicled a typical Albanian fundraising event. At a bar in New York, $500,000 was raised in one night at a private party. The newspaper quoted Dervish Jahjaga, editor of the Albanian-American newspaper (Bota Sot), as supporting a war on Macedonia. In attendance were representatives of the NLA, who recruited several [Albanian-]Americans to fight for them…

Ethnic Albanians in Macedonia burn the Macedonian flag.

[The Albanians] became a potential threat to their former allies. And so in Kosovo, US troops cowered in the relative luxury of Camp Bondsteel, rather than chase down the gun-runners and guerrillas trying to cross the Macedonian border. In Macedonia, the new fear of the Albanians has caused the US to go along with all of their demands — lest they might perhaps open fire on NATO.

This position was stated way back in March, in an article in London's Guardian ( "Why NATO is ignoring Macedonia," by Simon Tisdall, 22 March, 2001). The author maintained that the NLA had the upper hand — and knew it — because of the perceived American fear of casualties…Quite simply, they know no one is going to stop them…The Albanian-American lobbyist groups are both well-organized and well-funded, and they have the ear of influential lawmakers…Macedonia, unfortunately, does not have similar legislative influence in the US.

Indeed, if anyone thought our alliance with the KLA and its criminal partners ended with Kosovo, note that as the drug-funded expansionist terror continues, we're being dragged along for the ride. This is how the U.S. military came to be protecting KLA heroin factories by obstructing international investigations, and helping transport their narcotics and weapons.

The previously cited 2008 World Net Daily article reported that DioGuardi dismissed a 1999 U.S. Senate Republican Policy Committee white paper warning "that the KLA was closely associated with 'the extensive Albanian crime network that extends throughout Europe and into North America, including allegations that a major portion of the KLA finances are derived from that network, mainly proceeds from drug trafficking; and Terrorist organizations motivated by the ideology of radical Islam, including assets of Iran and of the notorious Osama bin-Laden….'"

Attributing the concerns in the Senate committee report to "Serbs and Greeks," and reinforcing the utter distaste he helped plant on the American palate for at least one of those national origins, he added, "The Serbs and the Orthodox Christian church are fighting a medieval battle. To them, anybody who is a Muslim is a problem."

In other words, when confronted with the potential threat to Americans of the KLA and its associations, DioGuardi deflects attention to Serbs and Greeks. So concerned is this Tea Party-endorsed candidate with American security that when someone raises a red flag, he wants Americans to dismiss the warning as an ethnic rivalry that's trying to turn them against Albanians, a case of projection if ever there was one.

In a June 2006 Legal Times article — between cursing that took reporter Andy Metzger by surprise when it was let loose "barely two minutes into [the] interview" — DioGuardi called Orthodox Christians "some of the most fundamentalist people in the world."

So amid increasing Albanian criminality and terror recruitment, and amid the constant threat of Albanian violence (which, make no mistake, is what has been driving our pro-independence policy since 1999), "Republican" Joe DioGuardi wants to shift your focus to Serbs and Greeks who have never attacked us, nor been a threat to us, and are not expansionist societies. DioGuardi sees Belgrade, Skopje and Athens as the enemy, and anyone who has paid the slightest attention to American behavior in the region will discern that at some point, we began to as well.

But it wasn't Greeks and Serbs who were behind the Fort Dix plot that was interrupted in May 2007. Out of six co-conspirators, four were ethnic Albanians. The man who supplied the guns, Agron Abdullahu, had been a sniper in Kosovo and, despite being "rescued" by the US — entering through the makeshift refugee camp at Ft. Dix in 1999 — at work he would refer to bin Laden as "Uncle Benny". While in jail in 2007 he etched "UCK" in his cell (Albanian for "KLA," which prosecutors explained to reporters as "a paramilitary organization with a history of war crimes"). He also drew a gun pointing toward the letters "FBI." It came out during the trial that the gang had been deciding between hitting Ft. Dix and firing on the White House.

Ft. Dix was just the most high-profile Albanian-involved terror news in America. Skipping all the regional terrorism they've been engaging in in the Balkans — incidents too numerous to recount — KLA veterans have turned up in jihad theaters beyond the Balkans, as Damir Bajrami's application at an al Qaeda camp in Afghanistan showed. "I have Kosovo Liberation Army combat experience against Serb and American forces. I need no further training. I recommend (suicide) operations against (amusement) parks like Disney," USA Today quoted in 2001.

In September of last year, Brooklyn-born Betim Kaziu was indicted for "conspiring to commit murder overseas and helping terrorists…[He] traveled abroad to try to join several terrorist groups….He also allegedly tried to travel to Afghanistan, Iraq and the Balkans to fight against U.S. armed forces." (Indictment here.) In August 2009 four men, one of them a U.S. citizen, were arrested in Kosovo "for illegal possession of weapons and endangerment….police found two Kalashnikov rifles and five hand grenades…." And a month earlier we all heard about the North Carolina crew led by Daniel Patrick Boyd, which included two Albanians and meant to target the Marine base in Quantico and to wage terror abroad.

Church Seized: Muslim Extremists Kidnap 50 Catholics, at Least 37 Dead UPDATE: 58 Dead

UPDATE: Death toll soars

BAGHDAD – Iraq's dwindling Christian community was grieving and afraid on Monday after [Muslim] militants seized a Baghdad church during evening Mass, held the congregation hostage and triggered a raid by Iraqi security forces. The bloodbath left at least 58 people killed and 78 wounded — nearly everyone inside.

Misunderstanders of Islam strike again. Horrible. Expect the media to report it every which way but the truth. Jihad.

Iraq: Dozens dead following Muslim standoff at Catholic church

A siege by Iraqi security forces at one of Baghdad's largest Catholic churches ended on the night of October 31, leaving at least 37 people dead and twelve injured.

A group of gunmen wearing suicide vests walked into the Syrian Catholic Church of Our Lady of Salvation during Sunday Mass. They held more than 50 parishioners hostage for several hours and threatened to kill them if al Qaeda prisoners were not released.

The siege was finally broken on that evening when Iraqi security forces stormed the church. Iraqi spokesman Major General Qassim al-Moussawi claimed that five gunmen were killed during the rescue operation as well as one policeman a parishioner and one of the priests celebrating Mass.

The Christian community in Iraq has suffered persecution since the war. Many thousands have fled abroad. In this case it is still not known why the church was targeted. Some reports suggest that the gunmen had first planned to attack the nearby stock exchange.

Christian clergy and lay people have been kidnapped, murdered, and raped by Muslim terrorists and criminal gangs in Iraq, sparking the exodus of Christians from the country.

Iraq's Jews, who had lived in the region since the time of Abraham and during their Babylonian Captivity, were expelled in the 1940s and 1950s following the infamous pogrom known as The Farhud. Sparked by the Grand Mufti of Jerusalem, one of the lead Muslim religious men of the region, Muslims went on a killing spree in Baghdad and elsewhere during the Second World War having allied themselves with the genocidal Nazi war machine in the Mideast's version of the Holocaust.
