It's Time To Return...
Back in 2009, my first book, The Witcher Legacy, was published through a POD publisher. I was so excited to finally see my book in print that I went ahead and published the rest of the series through this company.So what that the print cost and eventually the price of the Kindle version was set so high that no one but my family and friends would buy copies? Who cared that in the end I bought copies that I gave away? And of course, I wouldn't expect them to do ALL of my PR work for me; I would have to work a little harder and learn the ropes and eventually, I would make a profit.
In the end, I learned my lesson, and went completely Indie when it came time to start publishing my Nightshade series.
In 2012, I was able to reacquire the publishing rights to The Witcher Legacy. The manuscript sat in my computer files for almost two years before I opened it again. You see, at the time, I noticed that a lot of authors were reissuing some of their earlier work after it had been re-written, re-edited, and updated, and I figured that was something I'd like to do with my virtually unknown first series.
Fast forward to late 2014/ early 2015, and I was starting to get messages from people interested in reading Witcher. But it wasn't ready. As 2015 progressed, more and more people were expressing interest in the book, and I found myself wanting to give them what they wanted. What ensued was a 6 month marathon of edits, rewrites, beta reads, and updating the likes of which I've never experienced. Some days went smooth as silk, and other days? Well, let's just say there were days when I didn't even want to THINK about this book, let alone work on it.
My biggest issue was finding the balance between rewriting the story to reflect the way my writing style has improved and matured over the years while still maintaining the original integrity of the story. I wanted to UPDATE it, not CHANGE it completely. I eventually found a happy median, and the last few weeks have flown by in a rush of fevered inspiration.
So now, my lovely readers, I can say with all happiness and excitement, that The Witcher Legacy, the first book of The Bounty Cove Chronicles is just DAYS away from release! I am so excited to bring you the story of Melissa Witcher and Michael Kemper! This story is based on an English class writing assignment given to me back when I was a sophomore in high school, and it's never left me.
So without further ado, I present to you the synopsis for The Witcher Legacy!
After a nomadic childhood with her mother, Melissa Witcher is ready to put down roots, despite the ghosts that haunt not only her new home but her family history as well.
Michael Kemper never saw her coming, and from the moment he meets Melissa Witcher, he finds himself ready to do whatever it takes to stay by her side.
When evil threatens not only their happiness but also their lives, Michael and Melissa will find themselves fighting for everything they hold dear.
Can love conquer all, or will the evil that sleeps deep within the old Witcher home destroy it?

Ringing In 2016
HAPPY NEW YEAR!
I hope everyone had a wonderful New Year's celebration! I myself went to bed around 10 p.m., as I've had a pretty bad cold since Christmas Eve, and I was really tuckered out from working all day.
2016 is now ahead of us and I've got a few things in the pipeline for you!
First up is the re-release of my very first book, The Witcher Legacy, under my own banner. It's been given a new cover, and the story has been cleaned up and updated. It will be available in e-book and print forms.Look for it sometime later this month.
In Nightshade news, I'm hard at work writing book #5, Bonded, and there's a Caine and Gaela novella in the works, as well. Release dates and the novella title will be announced at a later time.
Also, sometime in late Spring/early Summer, the audiobook of Salvaged SHOULD begin production. Sonja is currently in England, finishing up her graduate degree, and won't be back home until then. Don't forget to grab your audio version of Tempted to keep yourself happy until the release of Salvaged! And as always, read, recommend, and review!

Happy New Year
GOOD MORNING! I hope you are all doing well and I hope you had a very lovely Christmas!!!
The year is rapidly coming to a close, and I had hoped to push Tempted's reviews to 50 by year's end. Unless something happens, it looks like I'll fall short of that mark by 2 reviews.
I want to thank everyone who has read, shared, recommended, and reviewed Tempted in 2015. Without your support, The Nightshade Saga would have ended at book 1. From the bottom of my heart, your have my most grateful thanks.

Yes, my dearest readers, you read that headline correctly!
There is an audiobook of Tempted in production as I write this! The narrator is a lovely lady named Sonja Field, and she has done a SUPERB job of bring Roman, Sabrina, Caine, and Gaela to life! Her vocal stylings reminds me greatly of Tavia Gilbert, the narrator of Jeaniene Frost's Night Huntress series and I can't wait for you all to hear her tell the story of Tempted!
At the moment, everything from Prologue to Epilogue has been recorded, edited, and uploaded. There are still the opening and closing credits to finish and the 5 minute preview before it's ready for sale, but it won't be too long!
Even better, Sonja is interested in doing the next book, Salvaged!
