Years of New Stuff
Hopefully my followers have seen my updates over the years. I've added short stories and full publications yearly, with one paperback at least a year as my goal.
As of right now, 2020, the year of disaster after disaster, I have managed to still publish a book. It's an SCP novel called Behold which involves SCP-096.
I am still working on a plethora of other projects so, maybe we'll get lucky and get a second publication before Christmas. That'd be nice.
I also added the information to my second sampler (which I had apparently forgotten to add here last year) and am also trying to make sure my list is up to date. I also changed the URL for my website, as I've moved to Wix as a host. It's a lot easier to use than Angelfire, and more updated and clean looking by comparison.
Keep an eye out! Don't forget to leave reviews, and enjoy my work!

Issues Fixed
For the book Imaginary Friends: Not Just Kid Stuff, I did go back and change the mistakes that were not fixed during the editing process. It had gone through two people and these mistakes were unnoticed. Hopefully I got them all. So now those statements in question make a whole lot more sense.
So...give it a day or so, and the books should be updated by their vendors. I hope y'all enjoy it.

A New Book & Editing Issues
I normally don't get too upset if there's a small typo here and there in my final released. I see them when I read the work of others, even big name professionals, so a misspelled word or even the wrong word (in instead of is, for example) isn't a major issue. Heck, at a recent reading, I realized I had accidentally used the word "fun" instead of "gun" in a scene in "The Midnight Selkie." I'm still debating if it annoys me enough to go through the trouble of a fix-up.
However, there are some notable errors in my new release. It's not like...detrimental, but they are sentence structure issues that make no sense. So, while the book IS available, I will be doing an edit in the near future. I think e-books automatically update when changes are made. At least, I think that's what Kindle is supposed to do. So, if that's the case, have fun and it'll do whatever it does when I get to the issue.
The newest release is "Imaginary Friends: Not Just Kid Stuff." I will go over that when the issues are fixed. But I did want to give everyone a heads up that this book does have some big editing errors and I will be fixing the ones I was able to catch.

Something New?
Well, it's been a while since I last let everyone know what was up. I've been working on "Lord of the Maples II" off and on when I have the time. I have also started the first book of a children's chapter book series called "The Meows-Kateers." The first book will be called "A Home For Britz."
The stories are loosely inspired by my own cats: Britz, Mirage, and Cherie, as well as some of the community cats and the cats of my neighbors. Very loosely. I already finished a cover for the first book, but I'm still trying to decide the right style to use for writing it. Hopefully, over Christmas break, I'll be able to think up something, since I'll have a little more free time.

Facebook Page & More!
Well, for the smaller and first line of business, I'm looking forward to re-publishing the e-book versions of "The Karasu Kollektion" and "The Midnight Selkie" this month.
Also, I started working on my next short story collection simply called "Sweet Stuff Short Story Collection." It'll be suitable for readers third grade and up and contain 12 short stories.
Now for the title news. After much thought (and unsupervised boredom LOL) I have made a Facebook page for my "Lord of the Maples" Shifter Romance series. I still need to fill out all the information and update my website, but the page is up and accepting Likes. You can find it HERE.

Re-Releases Are Here!
Well, they are finally here! I have re-released several short stories with more vendors. I have also re-released The Taming of Coyote with more vendors as well.
I do plan on re-releasing Poinsettia this month. I've just gotten a little preoccupied (and had to search another hard drive for the file) and haven't been able to go through the process yet. But, it's on my to-do list.

FREE Sampler
It was originally called "Kindle Sampler" but it felt unfair to charge people for just samples. So, I republished it under a new title "Ravyn Karasu's Story Sampler: Volume One." It's available on Nook, Kobo, Scribd, Tolino, and Oyster for FREE!
What this is is a collection of excerpts from 5 of my books. Each excerpt is 5 chapters of each book. That means:
1. 5 chapters of Akhetaten's Gates
2. 5 chapters of The Taming of Coyote
3. 5 chapters of Poinsettia
4. 5 chapters of The Midnight Selkie
5. The entire short story "Resonance" from "The Karasu Kollektion: Ten Dark & Feelsy Short Stories"
...And all for FREE! This will allow people who want to take a peek first to do so before deciding if they want to purchase the entire book or books.
For links to get your copy for Nook, Kobo, Scribd, Tolino, and Oyster, you can go to those sites, go to this webpage for the links or look under Stores in the link below.

Re-Releases!
With August right around the corner, I'm really excited about my Kindle Select/Kindle Unlimited Contract coming to an end for a majority of my titles. This means that I'll be able to re-release them and sell them through more vendors. The remaining titles that are still obligated under the contract will become available in September.
So, throughout the month of August, keep an eye out for these re-releases through other vendors. Those of you with Kindles don't have to worry. I'm still on Amazon too.

In September, keep a look out for these titles:
Again, if you purchase through Amazon/Kindle, don't worry. I am still available through Amazon/Kindle. I'm just no longer going to be on Kindle Unlimited, as I would like to put my books in more stores so they are available to more readers.
On another note, I did a quick check. Akhetaten's Gates is available in multiple stores in paperback and in e-book format, including Kindle, Nook, Kobo, and iBooks.
I hope everyone enjoys reading them!

Lord of the Maples - Released!

Happy Canada Day to my Canadian friends and followers!
I'm pretty excited to announce that Lord of the Maples is now available in paperback and ebook editions. It's my first Romance novel and the first time writing erotic scenes, so this is certainly a new adventure for me. That being said, I'm really hoping everyone enjoys the first book in the Lord of the Maples Series.

More Availability
A lot of authors are looking for more options since the announcement of Kindle Unlimited's new policy. While this is partly the case for me too, I have been wanting to be available in a wider marketplace. My paperbacks are available in several places online, but my ebook editions are all stuck in Amazon exclusivity and I've come to dislike that.
Once my obligations to KU are over, I'll be republishing my ebook editions and ebook short story singles on another website so that I can sell ebooks through multiple sellers, and not just ONE place. For those who still want to read the Kindle versions, that's fine. I still plan to publish ebooks through Kindle/Amazon, I just won't be in the KU program. But I will be publishing with another site as well to allow customers of Barnes & Noble, Apple, and more to also have access to my books.
I've already published one short story single, "The Black Train" with another publisher. It's still available on Amazon, but it is now available in several other stores as well.
In other news, I have been working really hard on a new novel and am now in the first edit stage. It'll be my first Romance/Erotica novel, so I'm certainly nervous about it, but I really enjoyed working on it.
That's pretty much all I have at the moment. I've been trying to fix the website up a little. I've added some new sections, but it'll be a slow process to finish it.
