Daily Mail article
The 1st edition of The Unknown Warriors was featured as a double page article in the Daily Mail. The updated and final version has more letters from UK WWII veterans and also veterans from Australia and New Zealand, a total of 530 pages, the original book was 325 pages.
Here is the article. It focuses mainly on the opinions of veterans, whereas the book also has many wartime memories.
The headline in the newspaper was WHY DID WE BOTHER FIGHTING HITLER. The same article in the internet version was 'THIS ISN'T THE BRITAIN WE FOUGHT FOR,' SAY THE 'UNKNOWN WARRIORS' OF WWII

BBC Interview
On the 70th anniversary of the outbreak of World War Two, three war veterans who are in the book were interviewed for BBC4 World at One news, presented by Martha Kearney.
I was contacted by a researcher after she found my website about the book www.theunknownwarriors.co.uk I contacted three veterans living in the London area and they were all happy to go into the studio. They travelled by taxis which picked them up at their homes, and all had an interesting morning at the BBC HQ.
Here is the audio of the interview;
