A Cool Thing! Coordinate Cuff

The surprise I bought DH arrived today! And it’s gorgeous. (Even the packaging is top notch.) I would show y’all the face plate, but it’s kind of personal. I can tell you this is a “coordinate cuff”. The location I chose for the engraving is a factory where I used to work, and it’s where I met my hubby sixteen years ago.

Farewell Hoooowl for the Black Dog Series

The fourth and final Black Dog book releases on July 30th. To celebrate, I’m giving away a few of Thierry’s favorite things—including a Roku Streaming Stick—to ONE lucky winner. I’ll even toss in a thirty dollar gift card toward the one thing she couldn’t live without (besides Shaw), and that’s Netflix.

I have a new keyboard! Whee!

My new keyboard is here! And I’m in love with it. I’ve been using the Microsoft Natural ergonomic keyboard for a few years, and this is the newest incarnation. It’s the Microsoft Sculpt ergonomic keyboard.

The old keyboard was so chunky. It drove me nuts not being able to push my keyboard tray under my desk. This new one is slim and cool-looking. But the best part is…the magnets! The battery compartments are magnetized so the back snaps right on. (Keyboard and mouse.) The base to elevate the keyboard is also magnetic. Obviously, I have a thing for magnets. But I also happen to think it’s pretty damn cool.

Another note on the mouse–it’s neat in that you can scroll up, down, left and right. I know, I know. I’m super dorky, but this is exciting stuff for me.

While Thierry is away, the Morrigan will play.
