Guest author Dawn Jackson

 About Dawn Jackson
D. L. Jackson is a writer of urban fantasy, science fiction, military romance and erotic romance. She loves to incorporate crazy plot twists, comedy and the unexpected into her worlds. As a U.S. Army veteran, she naturally adores men in uniform and feels the world could always use more. She does her part by incorporating as many sexy soldiers in her novels as she can. When she isn't writing or running the roads, you can often find her online chatting with her peers and readers. Grab a cup of iced coffee, pull up your virtual chair and say hi. She loves emails and blog visits from her readers. http://www.authordljackson.com

Tasty tidbits about Dawn

What is your favorite movie? The Notebook.
What kind of vehicle do you drive? A Yota. FJ Cruiser.
If you could be any animal what would it be?  Meow. Their nature suits me. World domination.
How old are you? Forty-one.

What genre/s do you write? Urban Fantasy Romance/Erotic Romance, Science Fiction Romance/Erotic Romance and Young Adult.
What made you decide to write the genre you do? Two words. Star Wars. Saw it on the big screen as a child and was smitten.
When not writing, what hobbies/interests do you have? I'm an artist. I quilt, weave beads and enjoy mixed martial arts and gardening. I love horseback riding but haven't done it in years. I'm a rancher's daughter.
What is your latest book about? Blown Away. It's a military/science fiction romance that deals with the bomb squad in space, defusing alien weapons and ordnance.
When did it come out?It was released November 13th, 2010 with Passion in Print.
Was there anything that inspired you to write it?Absolutely. My son is a Marine and he was considering EOD, the explosive ordnance disposal. I'm an Army vet so I understand what it is, but it's still scary when your kid is considering disarming live explosives. I believe most fear is spawned from what you don't understand, so I began to research everything thing I could about it, and after he decided to go a different route, I decided it made great story material.
Does your family know about your writing career? My mother and sister read everything I write—even the naughty stuff. My father isn't into romance, but he always asks how my books are coming along. Even my boys and daughter-in-law know. It's not a secret.
If so what do they say about it? I love writing hot sex scenes and though it might not be my mother's cup of tea, she's still my biggest fan. My sister is helping me build my website. Cousins, brother, friends, are all great support.
What is your writing day like?I work 40+ hours a week, so my writing day consists of tapping away on a laptop from the front seat of my FJ on my lunch break and an hour before work. I like the seclusion and the radio. I end up surfing the web when I'm home, so not much writing takes place there.

Do you have any projects in the works? Several.
What are they? The two priorities are a novel that follows Slipping the Past that's published with Liquid Silver Books, called Hear No Evil, and the second novel in the Blown Away series. The two stories in that book are Bomb Voyage and The Infamous Ava Frost.

Why did you choose your particular publishers to go with? I did a lot of research on publishers before I even sent a submission out. Liquid Silver Books has a sterling reputation and kick-ass covers. They were at the top of my list and I'm glad to have the opportunity to work with them. I love the staff. A fantastic group of people.
Passion in Print found me, and I'm thrilled they did. After talking to one of their editors quite extensively, I decided I loved the direction the owner was taking her company and wanted to get onboard with the new division (Passion in Print) of her existing publishing company MLR. I also love the staff. Professional and fun to work with.
I want t thank Dawn for spending some time with us today. Read below to learn more about Dawn and her newest releases.

Guest author Michele Hart

Who is Michele Hart?

A latch-key kid raised in Brandon, Florida, Michele lived for shows about futuristic worlds, fantastic places. Star Trek, Bewitched, Night Stalker. Battlestar Galactica, I Dream of Jeannie, Logan's Run. Naturally, she found her future in alternate realities. She's keeping it unreal. She still lives in sunny Florida with her cute little dog Twinkle. Contact Michele!

She loves to hear from Sci-Fi/Fantasy lovers!m@michelehart.com

Tasty tidbits about Michele Hart

What is your favorite season? SpringWhat is your favorite junk food? Dove Irresistibly Raspberry ice creamWhat is your favorite movie? Equilibrium. The Terminator. Love all Sci-Fi, no matter how bad.If you could be any animal what would it be? A poodle well owned, loved, and spoiled. What is your favorite color? BlackHow many pieces of jewelry do you wear on a daily basis? I go nude, jewelry-wise, unless I'm going somewhere.Have you ever gone commando (no underwear)? Used to, now I appreciate a nice silky pair of granny pants. No wonder grannies love them.
How old are you?
Forty-five. Not old enough to wear granny pants yet. Already got the jump on that. Ahead of my game there.

Q&A with MicheleWhat genre/s do you write?I call myself a Sci-Fi Romance author, though I have a Contemporary Erotic Romantic Suspense title and a Greek Myth Comedy Romance title available. I'm really happy writing Sci-Fi Romance. I love the adventure. The future has a lot of hope in it, and it's where I most want to be. I have several writing projects ahead, both Sci-Fi, so that's what you'll see from me for a while to come. Check out my web site. There's bound to be a story blurb that intrigues you.
What made you decide to write the genre you do?It's gotta be the years spent sitting in front of Star Trek. Logan's Run, Battlestar Galactica. I loved them. I was a latch-key kid so the TV was my babysitter. I remember my heart breaking when Mom signed me up for a speed-reading course on Man from Atlantis night. I remember my first (and only) phone call to a TV station when the Bionic Woman's broadcast was interrupted. I couldn't have been more than ten. No child should have the TV schedule memorized.
When not writing, what hobbies/interests do you have?Research is a hobby for me. I'm always studying some weird new thing. Was there a specific author/individual that inspired you to become a writer?Yes. I have a very special friend who is a creative dynamo. I admired that in him. He handed me pop Fantasy books written by a particular couple of masters. Soon, I was thinking…I want to try that… though I couldn't hold a candle to those great names. They opened the door in my head.
What is your latest book about? When did/does it come out?My August release is a steamy Sci-Fi Romantic Adventure called Luminous Nights. It's about a man seeking vengeance and the terrified woman he kidnaps during his interstellar killing spree. If you like prison breaks, alien chocolate seduction, super weapons, doomsday devices, explosions, narrow escapes, murder-defying deceit, and threats of genocide, all while riding a harrowing roller coaster with a dangerous man wearing a holographic mask, check this story out. It's waiting for you now at BookStrand.
Was there anything that inspired you to write it?My best friend Bonnie loved angels, so I'd written an angel story for her. It's sort of an angel story. Sort of.
If you could pick any celebrities to play your main characters in a movie, who would they be and why?Simon Baker would be great for Jack, the hero of Luminous Nights. He has a great smile, and Jack uses his smile as a weapon. I always imagined Simon Baker in the role. Rachel, LN's heroine, hmm…Rachel McAdams would be a good choice.
How did you choose your pen name?I did start off with a pen name, but everyone was confused. I'd chosen the name of my first heroine written years ago, Crystal Drake, for my first publication, Looks Are Deceiving, my Erotic Romantic Suspense. I contracted the same story with Siren-BookStrand and used my real name after that, which has been a relief. I have both covers on the wall of my office, and that's neat.
How old were you when you started writing?Hmm… About twenty-three, twenty-four. I hadn't considered it an option in school and missed the chance to actually study writing. But RWA does a good job of training aspiring authors.
If you could go on a date with anyone (and I mean anyone) who would it be and why?My high school best friend. He was dreamy and very funny. Big, gorgeous blue eyes. I never met a better guy. He never knew I had a serious crush on him.
What is one thing about you that no one knows? No one knows the only karaoke song I'll ever sing. And I won't sing it unless someone guesses it. I have a great hint no one has ever solved. This protects me from having to sing in public. Hint: There are both historical and fictional characters mentioned in the lyrics. If you have a guess, write me. (m@michelehart.com). I'll give a free copy of my Sci-Fi Romance short story, Zero-G, to the first person who gets it. But you will be sworn to secrecy.
What is your writing day like?I'm up at 7am, and it's fanny-in-seat, hands-on-keyboard. I generally don't leave until 5pm-7pm. E-mail alone takes up way too much writing time.
Do you have a favorite author/s?
Katie MacAlister for laughs, Jennifer Estep for superheroes.
What is your current project?
I'm working on a sequel for Luminous Nights, and it's called Vigilant. The hero is dark, quiet, and mysterious, a dark angel character. Jack, the hero of Luminous Nights, was loud, egotistic, and commanded a lot of technology, so the hero of Vigilant will be a brawler with a hair trigger.
Do you have any series out?
I'm building a series now with Luminous Nights and Vigilant. I may not name the series. Something tells me not to name it.
Why did you choose your particular publisher to go with?
Siren-BookStrand does both Mainstream and Erotic Romance, so I have play room. They also like bigger stories. I've written some big stories in the past. I like 'em big! ;-)
Do you have a day job? If so what do you do?
Writing's my day job. I'm very fortunate to be able to do that.

Guest author Jan Bowles

Who is Jan Bowles?
I live in Lincolnshire, England, a very flat part of the country. In our neck of the woods it is known as 'Big Sky Country'. It's a windy part of the UK, too, which why there are several windmills still working in the area. The village where I live has a beautifully restored windmill that still grinds flour to this day.
My husband and I have known each other for over twenty-seven years. We live in an old farmhouse built in the late 1800's. It has a large garden of more than half an acre, so there is plenty to keep me occupied, and I do enjoy pottering about.
Writing romantic fiction has recently taken up a large chunk of my spare time, but I still enjoy painting landscapes, and taking casual walks across the fens.

Tasty tidbits about Jan Bowles
Do you write under a pseudonym?I write under my own name Jan BowlesWhat is your favorite season?I like the autumn when all the leaves change color. What is your favorite junk food?Peanut butter. What is your favorite movie? The English Patient. What is your favorite color?Purple

Q&A with Jan Bowles
What genres do you write?I write erotic cowboy romances, erotic romantic suspense, and mainstream romance.
When not writing, what hobbies/interests do you have?I paint landscape scenes. Some of my paintings can be seen on my website. www.janbowles.com
When did/does it come out?My latest book Bound by the Montana Mountain Man came out on 23rd November of this year.
What is your latest book about? It's an erotic cowboy romance, and is part of my Cowboy Bad Boys series. The story centers on Cassie Philips, a recently divorced woman, who vows never to trust a man again and Brad Dawson, a rugged mountain guide.
If you could pick any celebrities to play your main characters in a movie, who would they be and why? When I wrote some ideas for the cover of the book, I thought Cameron Diaz and Ray Liotta (a young version) were the ideal couple. I think Jinger Heaston the cover artist captured their likeness perfectly. Brad Dawson, the hero in the story, has some very sexy dimples, just like Ray Liotta JDoes your family know about your writing career? They do, and they are very supportive. My husband especially. He is a great help when the       editing process begins…I read the story out loud, and he follows the text. It's the best way for picking up any mistakes and typing errors.
How old were you when you started writing? I wrote several books about eighteen years ago. These were just for family and friends to read. They languished in my loft up until two years ago, when my husband suggested I take another look at them. I realized that I could do better, and rewrote my first book The Return, which is now published with Siren-Bookstrand. I guess life experience gave me more emotions on which to draw for my characters.
Do you have a favorite author?Patricia Cornwell. I love all her Dr. Kay Scarpetta novels.
Are you strictly an eBook author? If so why did you go that route?I chose the route of ebook publishing because it reflects the future of publishing. It is also wonderful that although I live in the UK, I can deal directly with a company in Texas, USA—I just love the internet. J  Modern technology has opened up so many opportunities that might never otherwise be explored.
What is your current project?I'm working on the third book to another series called Guilty Pleasures. They are all erotic romances that reflect the darker side of love and sex.
Do you have any series out? If so what is it about? At the moment I have a cowboy series, call COWBOY BAD BOYS. Everyone loves a cowboy, and especially the ones that are bad boys.

Bound by the Montana Mountain Man

Blurb:Still suffering from a bitter divorce, twenty-seven year old Cassie Philips moves to rural Montana, vowing never to trust a man again. Brad Dawson, a thirty-five year old mountain guide, is intrigued by his new neighbor. Why has the city girl settled so far from home?
Known as the Mountain Man by the locals, Cassie is soon wary of the predatory cowboy rancher, who never wants to settle down. Unable to deny the attraction between them, they soon embark on a torrid sexual affair.
Cassie is haunted by her past, and this "neighbors with benefits" relationship is just what she's looking for. Will there ever be more than just sex between them, or can they find real love, too?
Excerpt:As Cassie threw the last of the rubbish on the fire, she caught a glimpse of a horse and rider fast approaching. Brad Dawson slowed down as he brought the horse to a controlled halt and dismounted right in front of her.
Having lived in the city most of her life, this new mode of transport made her heart somersault. He looked like he'd just stepped off a movie set, with his jeans, denim shirt, and black cowboy hat. His eyes twinkled in the sunlight as he looked at her.
"Just thought I'd stop by and see how my new neighbor's doing."
"I'm fine. Finally cleared the house out, as you can see. Broke one or two nails in the process, but they'll grow again."
He nodded, his eyes flicking from her face to her hands and back again. "That's too bad." Just why had she shown him her hands? She really couldn't care less about her nails breaking. Maybe deep down, she wanted him to know just how hard she'd worked. But why the need to impress him? Then he said, "I should warn you that the winters get pretty harsh here."
"Meaning?"
"Nothing. Just that you should get stocked up real early."
"I intend to." She felt he had something more on his mind. "Is there anything else you wish to say, Mr. Dawson?"
"Maybe you should think of selling, that's all. Save you a lot of heartache in the long run. It gets real cold up here as the nights close in. It's not a place for a woman like you."
Cassie felt indignant. Whenever she was in his presence, she just bristled. "And what sort of woman would that be?"
"City girl." His eyes pierced into her.
"You sure have some audacity, Mr. Dawson. Maybe you should just mind your own business. I don't think men are the only ones who can cope in a harsh environment. I came from Minneapolis, and we had pretty severe winters there, too."
He laughed out loud. He removed his hat and thwacked it against his leg. "Hell, sweetheart. Winters in Minneapolis ain't nothin' compared to what we get here. You get four inches of snow in a day. We get four feet."
Folding her arms across her chest, she fixed him in her gaze. "If I were to sell, I suppose you know someone who'd most likely buy it."
"Maybe." A half smile formed, deepening the creases around his mouth. What was it with dimples, anyway?
"Like you, perhaps?" When he didn't answer, she continued, "I found those documents you drafted up. Maybe that's why you want me to sell. Perhaps you're not really interested in my welfare, after all, but in that piece of land you want to get your hands on."
He placed his hat back on his head. "Whoa now, lady, slow down. I assure you that was the last thing on my mind."
"Mr. Dawson, I was going to come and see you in a day or two and discuss that parcel of land. But I think my Uncle Seth was a good judge of character. He could tell at a glance that you were up to no good. I've no doubt you only offered him a fraction of what the land is worth, thinking he was too old and crazy to understand." She pointed the one manicured finger she had left at him. "So no, Mr. Dawson. I won't be moving, and I won't be selling, either."
He smiled as he studied her. "You'll learn." He mounted his horse and then turned to look at her as he gathered the reins in his hand. "Don't say I didn't warn you." Then he rode away as calmly as anything, leaving Cassie wondering if she'd imagined the whole episode.
She stormed into the house. If there was one thing she hated about a man, it was pig-headed chauvinism. Well, she had news for him. Cassie Phillips would show him she could handle anything Mother Nature could throw at her, and then some.

Guest author, Wendi Zwaduk

 Welcome guest author, Wendi Zwaduk

~Who is Wendi?~

I always dreamed of writing the stories in my head. Tall, dark, and handsome heroes are my favorites, as long as he has an independent woman keeping him in line. I tend to write books with titles taken from songs because music is one of my many muses. I earned a BA in education at Kent State university and as well as a Masters in Education from Nova Southeastern University. I've tried my hand at teaching, waitressing, and retail sales, but writing holds my heart.I love NASCAR, romance, books in general, Ohio farmland, dirt racing, and my menagerie of animals. I have six books under contract and more than my brain can handle percolating. I can't wait to share them with you!

~Tasty tidbits about Wendi~

What is your favorite season? Fall
What is your favorite movie? Field of Dreams
What kind of vehicle do you drive? Chevy Truck
What is your favorite color? Blue
How many pieces of jewelry do you wear on a daily basis? 10 pieces

~Q&A with Wendi~

What genre/s do you write? Contemporary, Paranormal, Erotica
What made you decide to write the genre you do? The characters said, we want the bedroom door wide open and want to be able to play in whichever manner our kinky fantasies lead. I couldn't tell them no.
When not writing, what hobbies/interests do you have? Art! I love to draw and paint, especially animals, even if they are wiggly and won't sit still. Although it seems odd, there is something calming about being able to lose myself in the act of creating a drawing and making the colors blend to create the perfect image.
What is your latest book about? "You'll Think of Me" is my latest book.
When does it come out?It comes out November 22nd. It's about a soldier who is taciturn by nature, coming home after being severely injured during time in Iraq. He wants to be with the woman he loves, but she's about to move out. It's up to him to convince her he loves her and convince himself he's worth loving.
Sounds wonderful! Was there anything that inspired you to write it? A very good friend of mine is in the Air Force and I thought about all the times he's been overseas. There's so much he's seen that only someone in his position can understand. It takes a special person to be with that kind of person. Once I started writing Cade, I realized he was a very sexually dominant person, so it made the story all the hotter. I mean, guys in uniform and sweltering sex, who could ask for more?
I couldn't agree with you more! If you could pick any celebrities to play your main characters in a movie, who would they be and why? I can never decide who I want to play the heroines in my stories. I suck at that. Heroes? Gotcha covered. Seth Donovan from "Learning How to Bend" would be played by Ryan Carnes—he's been seen in bit parts and indie movies. Nate Waterford from "Must Be Doing Something Right" would be Josh Hamilton. I loved him as a snarky lawyer on "Law and Order". Storm Richardson from "My Immortal" would be Jonathan Togo from "CSI: Miami". He does the gruff yet soft look really well.
Does your family know about your writing career? Yes.
If so what do they say about it? Some are happy. Others wish I'd written something more "thought provoking" or with "more slasher qualities". *Sigh* Can't win them all. But my DH is completely supportive and loves to tell everyone he's my research partner.
Sounds like something my husband would say J. Do you have a favorite author/s? I have lots of favorite authors. Probably too many to name, but here goes: Anne Rainey, Michelle Witvliet, Ashley Ladd, MA Ellis, Desiree Holt, Lora Leigh, Kresley Cole, Kealie Shay, and yes, Jenika Snow.

Wow, I made your fav author list. I am honored! Do you think there is a difference between making love and having sex? Yes. Making love means you are with a person you want to be with and expressing how you feel about that person while in the act of having sex. Making love means staying up all night and into the next day expressing deep seeded need for each other.Having sex is insert tab A into slot B. Having sex is 'let's get this over with so I can go to sleep'.
Funny. Well said. Why did you choose your particular publisher to go with? Word of mouth and covers. Originally when I chose Total-E-Bound, I went because I knew a number of authors with the publisher and they encouraged me to send my work there. Then I looked at the covers. I am a cover whore. If a book has a lousy cover... I won't buy. Sorry. I'm a snob in that regard. I tend to look at the covers and then blurbs. If the cover doesn't match the blurb, it irks the dickens out of me, but if the blurb catches my attention, I'll buy. The best combo is a fantastic cover and a great blurb. Total-E-Bound fit the bill for me. I've had great luck with my editor there as well. Granted, she's not taken everything I've written—nope. She's worked with me on things she saw promise. I loved the give and take we have and hope to work with her for a long time.
As a fellow TEB author, I have to agree with you totally! I want to thank Wendi for taking the time to answer my questions. Read below for Wendi's newest releases!

~Blurb~
What's a girl to do when she finds out the man of her dreams is a 340 year old vampire?Run like hell or offer her heart.Being a vampire hasn't been easy for Storm Richardson. He's not programmed to kill or harm, unless he needs to feed. When he meets Stephanie "Stevie" Persing, he knows he's found his mate. But if he crosses the line between work and play, he risks losing the only person who matters—her.Stevie's been in love with Storm since the moment she laid eyes on him. He's brooding, intense, and her one weakness. But is her heart too steep a price to pay for his love, especially when she discovers his deepest secrets?   This book contains minimal scenes of rape in a flashback. Includes smoking' hot sex in a hot tub, a pickup truck, and the shower.
~Excerpt~
"Storm, we're working the Chatty Catty Club tonight to catch Bruce Tripp in the act. Edie's ready to rip me apart because we haven't produced any damning pictures. Doesn't your friend Falco bounce there?"Storm frowned and glared out the window at the illuminated main drag of New Haven, Ohio. The neon highlighted the front row of stores and the silvery sidewalk stretching into the distance, but he didn't need the enhanced lighting.Being a vampire hyper charged his senses. He could see things at great distances, feel the tiniest pinprick on his supersensitive skin, and hear every conversation in a crowded bar. He didn't need the work as a private investigator—being immortal gave him a lot of time to save up his resources. Then again, to stay under the radar, he didn't stick to one profession for more than a few years. Blending in worked just fine, until he met Stevie.Stevie managed to whip his sense of smell and taste into warp drive. The sweet scent of her fear knotted his insides. He didn't want her to be afraid when they were on the cusp of catching yet another cheating spouse. What was the true reason for her apprehension? He yearned to climb into her mind and help ease her fears. For the night to go smoothly, he needed to pull his thoughts away from Stevie and continue mentally prepping. Their current client, the ever-exciting Edie Tripp, was just that—a trip and a pain in the ass. She made his brain ache. She suspected her husband of cheating with his secretary and wanted Storm and Stevie to catch him in the act, or as close to ripping the sheets as possible. He needed something to get his mind off the pesky woman and the lousy way he was about to spend a perfectly beautiful Friday night. "So, will Todd be there?" Stevie asked, her voice tinged with annoyance. "You didn't answer me.""Yes, sweetheart. Todd's the bouncer, and yes, he'll be there." Storm smirked. His friend and fellow vampire, Todd Falco, could crush iron with his bare hands. At the traffic signal, Stevie screeched to a halt. She turned to him and rolled her eyes. "You know what I meant, Storm. Do you think he could get us through the line faster? I hate to wait in heels. Then again, you know how much I hate working in heels to begin with."Storm rubbed his jaw, blotting out a smile. She hated anything but comfy sneakers or good old socks. Unfortunately, clubbing required sexy clothing and footwear. Whether she was comfy or not, she looked darn cute jacked up four inches in knee-high boots. "If we cut in line, honey, then we'll give ourselves away. The point is to blend in, so don't worry about the heels. You'll be able to sit at the bar. Allan's waiting on you to give you the scoop about our clients."Like it was possible for him to disappear in the crowd; he was a freaking vampire. A bloodsucker and damned sex fiend. He couldn't blend in if he tried. Women clung to him in droves, claiming they liked his raw sex appeal. He never understood the draw. When he looked in the mirror, all he saw was a monster in expensive clothing longing to regain his humanity. Stevie stuck out her bottom lip in a pout and distracted him from his pity-party. "Fine, but this time, you'd better act like you want to be there with me. The only attention I got Tuesday night came from the tacky bartender and what he wanted was a better tip. Fortunately, Allan's more of a gentleman. Still, we aren't acting like a convincing team when you pretend I don't exist."Storm frowned. Oh, she existed and blocked out the image of every other woman in the room. She inhabited his dirtiest fantasies each time he closed his eyes. In his latest dream, he wanted to throw Stevie against the nearest wall and make love to her until they both screamed with delight. He couldn't tear his eyes away from her. But then Stevie never saw that because of the never-ending line of women dogging his heels. What would she say if he finally told her the truth? She had an open mind. When he asked her about ghosts, she claimed to believe they existed.Vampires were people, too… Storm clenched his jaw. His heart thudded and fear thundered through his veins. The reason he kept his identity secret was the sheer terror of knowing she'd run screaming into the night if she knew.

On the eve of his return from deployment in Iraq, in order to keep her heart from breaking, she's moving on -- after one last sexy night.Cade Nicholson has come to a decision. As he comes home damaged in both body and soul from his latest deployment, all he wants is to find comfort in Melanie's arms. Unsure, and unsteady in expressing his love to the only woman to hold his heart, he has to find a way to convince her of his true feelings. Can two best friends overcome their demons to prove their love for one another before past decisions come back to haunt them and it's too late?

Excerpt:Twisting from the collective embrace, she eyeballed each man. Rhett could stop traffic with his rugged boy-next-door good looks, well-placed tattoos, and electric blue eyes. None of that mattered. Cade commanded her full attention. His six-foot frame towered over her, though she never felt threatened. From his spiky black hair to his toned legs, he was her hero. If he only knew how wet she was with nothing more than a hug and husky words grazing her ear.Melanie stood on her tippy-toes. She slid her hands along Cade's body to cup the back of his head, partially to hug him, but more to make sure her Airman was real. Three months back, the national television news reported brutal attacks, including the bombing which took their good friend Dell's life. After seeing the frontline footage, Melanie wondered how anyone made it through the incident without major injury.  She thanked God each day no one came to her door to tell her if Cade or Rhett were hurt. Although Cade stopped writing over three months ago, Rhett's letters kept her up to date on the extent of Cade's injuries and the progress of his recovery from the second bombing. Still, seeing Cade in the flesh reassured her more than all Rhett's written words offered.Melanie cocked her head and considered him a moment. The jovial light, which normally sparkled in his eyes, seemed dim. Maybe he was just tired and needed a long rest.  His arms laced tight around her body, sending another hot rush along her nerve endings. Tears pricked her eyes. She wasn't sure if she should smother him with kisses, belt him on the arm, or a combination of both. Why not tell him how she felt? She licked her lips and swallowed hard to buy a moment to think. "You asked if I was your girl. I doubt I'm enough to satisfy you."Cade shifted. His expression was stark. She chewed her bottom lip for a moment. She couldn't quite pinpoint the problem, but something about Cade wasn't right. He seemed stiff and despondent as he stared at the ground. Did he see something in Afghanistan he couldn't shake? Or someone? She shoved the thought aside. He lived for the ménages with Rhett. "Cade, am I your only girl for this furlough?"Although a sly grin curled the corner of his mouth, his gaze slid to the bank of windows to the left. "I could be convinced."

Guest author, Sandy Sullivan

Who is Sandy Sullivan?
Sandy Sullivan is a romance author, who, when not writing, spends her time with her husband Shaun on their farm in middle Tennessee. She loves to ride her horses, play with their dogs and relax on the porch, enjoying the rolling hills of her home south of Nashville. County music is a passion of hers and she loves to listen to it while she writes. She is an avid reader of romance novels and enjoys reading Nora Roberts, Jude Deveraux and Susan Wiggs. Finding new authors and delving into something different helps feed the need for literature. A registered nurse by education, she loves to help people and spread the enjoyment of romance to those around her with her novels. She loves cowboys so you'll find many of her novels have sexy men in tight jeans and cowboy boots.

Tasty tidbits about Sandy Sullivan

What is your favorite season? Summer. I love the warm and being able to be outside
What is your favorite junk food? Chocolate/mind candy I found recently at Walmart called Bliss.
What is your favorite color? Blue
How many pieces of jewelry do you wear on a daily basis? 4. A necklace, wedding ring, and 2 other rings on my right hand.
How old are you? 48

Q & A with Sandy
What genres do you write? Historical and contemporary westerns, light BDSM, menage, paranormal, shapeshifters
When not writing, what hobbies/interests do you have? Riding my horses, playing with my dogs and cats and reading.
What is your latest book about?  I had a piece released with Whiskey Creek Press called Hot Summer Love (Cowboy Style 1) and it's about a young woman who rides rodeo and is on the run from an abusive ex-boyfriend. She heads to Harper Wyoming for a rodeo weekend with a friend and literally backs into rodeo rider and all around hunk, Caleb Morrison. Caleb is back in his home town after his father dies unexpectedly and now has to take over running the ranch. He's riding rodeo to pay the back taxes on the place and when he runs into Many, the sparks fly!
Does your family know about your writing career? Oh yes. All my family knows. My mother and older sister are very supportive, but my younger sister isn't. She can't quite understand the need, I guess.
What are your thoughts on eBook piracy? I don't understand how people cannot understand it's stealing when they download a book for free from the websites. I think the government is going to have to step in to stop things or someone will have to take one of these pirate sites to court. Unfortunately, a lot of the sites are not US based so aren't governed by our laws.
How old were you when you started writing?I wrote a play when I was in the seventh grade. We performed it for our parents. I've been writing ever since.
Do you think there is a difference between making love and having sex? Definitely! Making love, there's feelings, emotions and other things going on during the act to bring two people closer together. Having sex is just having sex. Stick it in, thrust a few times and you're done.      What is your current project? I just finished a piece I pitched to Harlequin at a conference in Ohio during October. It's with an editor friend for reviewing and then it will be off to them for evaluation. I also just finished a piece called Love Me Once, Love Me Twice (Montana Cowboys 1) for Secret Cravings Publishing that will be early released on 12/24 for 10% off cover price.
Do you have any series out? I have the Wilder Series available from Siren publishing.
What is it about? It's about 3 boys and their sister. Chase is in Wild Wyoming Nights, Cole is in Wild Rodeo Nights, Justin is in Wild Nevada Ride and Jamie is in Wild Rekindled Love. It's based around the family and their road to finding the one person they are meant to be with. I've been told Wild Wyoming Nights, Wild Rodeo Nights and Wild Rekindled Love are all tissue shredders. Wild Nevada Ride is funny and sassy. The characters are constantly in a word battle, well except when they are making love.
Do you have a day job? If so what do you do? I'm a registered nurse by education and work in hospitals as a traveler, although I'm currently a full time writer for now.

Guest author, Victoria Blisse

Who is Victoria Blisse?
Victoria Blisse is a mother, wife, Christian, Manchester United fan and erotica writer. She is equally at home behind a laptop or a cooker and she loves to create stories, poems, cakes and biscuits that make people happy.

She was born near Manchester, England and her northern English quirkiness shows through in all of her stories. Passion, love and laughter fill her works, just as they fill her busy life.

Tasty tidbits about Victoria Blisse

Do you write under a pseudonym?Yes, because my real last name is not particularly pretty!
What is your favorite season?Autumn because I love the colours and the crisp, frosty air. I love how it looks like the sun has dripped down from the sky and turned the treetops to those same warm, sunny colours. What is your favorite movie?I love Flash Gordon. It was the first video we got when we had an old Betamax video player when I was around seven or eight. I watched it over and over and I still have to watch it if I flick through the channels and it's on. I also know a good chunk of the script.
Have you ever gone commando (no underwear)?  Knickers and I have a love/hate relationship. You can't beat a slinky or lacy pair to get you in the mood but I can't do with them riding into places they should never go. So yes, I've gone commando a time or two!
How old are you?I'm thirty-two. Not old enough or young enough to announce my age with pride to anyone who will listen to me!

Q & A with Victoria
What genre/s do you write?Allsorts! I stick to contemporary quite often but sometimes I stray into the paranormal. I'm rather enjoying exploring vampires and werewolves and such. There is something addictive about playing with fantastical beasts!
What made you decide to write the genre you do?I write erotic romance because I'm good at it, she says modestly, no I think I have quite a knack for it. I've tried writing romance and my characters always want to get jiggy with it and who am I to stop them?
When not writing, what hobbies/interests do you have?I love to cook and especially to bake. I have so many cookery books and four A4 sized journals filled with my own hand written recipes. I find it therapeutic and I love the smiles on people's faces when they bite into something I've made and enjoy it!I enjoy sewing and crafty things too. I'm not particularly good at it, but I do enjoy messing around with my sewing machine or with salt dough and glitter and such things!I also love to read, especially fantasy and Terry Pratchett and David Gemell are two of my very favourite authors.
Was there a specific author/individual that inspired you to become a writer? My husband. He's encouraged me all along the way and he was the first person to tell me I had a talent for the erotic and the romantic.  I certainly wouldn't be the published, award winning writer I am now without him.
What is your latest book about? When did/does it come out?My latest book is Stopping Point, the second book in the Point Vamp series. It's all about a lad named Josh who becomes a vampire without really knowing what has happened to him. You get to know Josh, his best mates and Cara, Josh's crazy Sire. To find out more check out this link: http://www.total-e-bound.com/product.asp?strParents=&CAT_ID=&P_ID=951
Was there anything that inspired you to write it?Well, with it being the second book of a series, the first book, The Point was of course the source of my inspiration. Josh and his two pals make a very brief appearance in The Point and I knew as I wrote them in that I'd have to give them all their own books.
How old were you when you started writing?I have always loved to write. I've written stories and poetry since I was little but I didn't write anything particularly seriously until I was twenty and my husband encouraged me to give it a go.
What is your writing day like? I'm a full time mum and wife and have a lot of motherly duties to do during the day so my writing tends to happen first thing in the morning when I get up. Most days I wake up between 5.30 and 6.00 am and I'll write until I have to get my daughter up for school about 7.30am. I occasionally write in the day if inspiration has hit or if I'm trying to make a deadline I can write late into the night, but I'm not a pretty sight the day after if I do that.
Do you think there is a difference between making love and having sex? Yes, I think so but both things are good in their own right. Making love is a soul deep kind of thing with lots of cuddles and kisses and is not all about sexual gratification. Having sex is rawer, I think and is very much about reaching orgasm and having as much physical pleasure as possible.  I think both are essential in a relationship.
What is your current project?I'm working on Point Vamp Book three which will be Kyle's story. Kyle is one of Josh's mate but he's kinda shy and a bit naïve, which is an interesting combination for a vampire.
I want to thank Victoria for taking the time to answer these questions.
Read below for an exciting excerpt from book 2 in the Point Vamp Series!

Read a blurb for Victoria Blisse's newest story, Stopping Point

Book two in the Point Vamp Series

Josh is a vampire he just doesn't quite know it yet.

He is confused and his voluptuous sire, Cara is far too busy being mysterious to really help him unlock the secrets of his Afterlife. However, he pieces it together by himself and decides to turn his best mates into Vampires too. This doesn't quite go to plan but he does discover The Point and its unique, ten-second rule.

Cara does not approve of Josh visiting The Point but that night she turns up at his door bloodied and much more dead than usual, and accepts Josh's help to escape from her much older and much crazier Sire Leopold. How is Josh going to defeat an older, wiser and more powerful vampire? He hasn't a clue but for Cara he is willing to find out.

Reader Advisory: This book contains scenes of blood shed. This book is best read as part of a series, but it may also be read as a stand alone title.
Excerpt:
"Fuck, bitch, get away from me, you're evil."
"Yes, dear, I am but so are you," she leant forward and pressed her lips to his. Instantly he felt an electric buzz as her cold lips moulded with his. Her hands travelled around his neck and he found himself pulling her closer. His arms wrapped around her waist. There was an uncontrollable urge to be with this woman, to hold her, to kiss her, to fuck her. It was sick, she'd just called herself his mum but he couldn't resist.
"You're experiencing the call of your blood, darling. It is mine in you and your body recognises it. It's sexy isn't it? Your cock is hard and straining. Mmmm, this is as good as they said it would be."

Guest Author, Patricia Pellicane

Welcome guest author,

Patricia Pellicane

Who is Patricia?

Patricia Pellicane lives with her husband on Long Island in New York. Her six children live in neighboring towns as do most of her fifteen grandchildren. Her favorite hobby is reading. Patricia insists her ideas for stories come while doing dishes. "Could anything be more boring? It's nearly impossible to keep your mind from wandering." In a recent interview she was asked. How hard or easy is it for you to write? Patricia returned with, "Someone once wrote. 'Writing is easy. All you have to do is put a sheet of paper in a typewriter and stare at it until blood forms on your forehead'. Sometimes writing is exactly like that. And other times it's a wondrous happening where words flow from mind to fingers to computer screen almost without conscious thought. It doesn't matter which way it works for you. Once a writer begins the journey, they're hooked. It's a drug and you can't stop looking for that next story, that next high."

Excerpt:
Two nights later Abby sat at her mother's kitchen table and behind her spectacles blinked her pretty, dark blue eyes. "Who won?""I did, sweetie," her mother said as she gathered both the cards and the money at the center of her table toward her. "I thought the sayin' goes, something like, unlucky at cards, lucky at love?"Lilly flashed Jeb a smile. "Seems I'm lucky at both.""Are we finished?" Abby asked."Not unless you want to stop," Jeb returned."Oh no. I think this is great fun.""I'm afraid I have to get up early so this will probably be my last hand," Mr. Blake said."Oh please, Mr. Blake. Don't go yet. I'm having such a good time."The cards were gathered together, shuffled and handed to Abby. "Oh, I think I'd better not deal. I'm not sure I could. Would you deal for me?" she asked Linc."Sure."The cards were dealt, bets laid and each party asked for two or three until it was Abby's turn. She simply asked, "I'm sorry to be such a pain, but I keep forgetting. If I have a king, queen, jack, ten and a nine. Is that any good?"All around the table muttered groans of one sort or another as they threw their cards into the center and to Abby's delight, she was told she won. They played a few more hands. Abby won three in a row. It was the last hand when she asked, "Is it a good thing if all the cards have that same little diamond shape at the edge? Is that called a full house?" Everyone, again with groans of despair, threw their cards into the center of the table.Abby grinned and took the money. But before her cards were slipped back into the deck Linc took them and frowned. "You could get shot for cheating at cards, you know.""Me?" she blinked and asked in all innocence. "When did I cheat?" she asked as she took the cards and suddenly with nimble fingers was able to shuffle them better than any dealer he'd ever seen, before laying them out in a smooth perfect semi-circle near the center of the table.Linc's dark gaze narrowed threateningly. "You said you had a flush."Abby shook her head and grinned as she counted her winnings and in exaggerated innocence returned, "If I remember correctly, what I said was, 'if all the cards have that little diamond thing, is that called a full house'?"Jeb was laughing so hard he had to wipe his eyes with the back of his hands, while Lilly grinned. "I knew I didn't make a mistake sending you off to school."Linc gaze narrowed threateningly. "I owe you for that.""Yeah?" she turned to sneer in his direction. "Why don't you try and collect it, mister."* * * *His mouth pulled sharply away from hers. Cheek to cheek, they gasped for their every breath, when she groaned, "You're ruining everything." "Am I?" He smiled as he pulled back a bit and ran his thumb over her lips. "What did I ruin? She shook her head. "I'm engaged.""Are you?" He looked at her eyes. "And you love him?""Would I marry him if I didn't?"Linc grinned, took her hand and said, "Let's go.""Where?""The barn."Abby made a low protesting sound deep in her throat, even as she allowed him to take her hand and lead her from the porch. "I don't think…""Sometimes you're better off if you don't." At the barn he turned to face her with a grin. "If you loved him, you would have said you do." He moved her so he could press her up against the inside wall. "So why are you marrying him?""How is anything I do your business?""I want you.""I hate you.""Jesus," he shook his head. "I don't care," he said as his mouth lowered again to hers. * * * *Abby arched her neck, her back, and finally her hips, the movement bringing them closer together. He was gasping for his every breath. "Don't move," he warned. "I need to wait.""Why?""Because you're new at this and it won't be good for you if I don't wait." "It feels pretty good so far."
"That felt better than pretty good and don't be a brat."Abby laughed, and the laughter caused her muscles to squeeze tighter around his cock. He trembled in mind-shattering pleasure. "Jesus." "Are you sure you want to wait?""Oh my God, are you trying to tease me into making love to you?""Me? I wouldn't think of it, I'm sure.""When you stretch like that, I'm damn near…Jesus, I'm crazy about you.""You're crazy period."Gently slowly he began to move into her and out and then deep into her once more. "Kiss me again."She groaned at the sensations he was causing her. "I don't kiss strange men."Linc laughed. "And you are the strangest man I've met to date.""Kiss me anyway.""I suppose I could spare a kiss," she shrugged, then gasped as the sensations began again, the tightening across her stomach, the heavy ache for more of this magic. "But only one mind you.""I only want one," he said as he pushed harder, deeper into her. "Make it a good one, it'll have to last me some.""Will it? I wonder why?" she asked as her mouth teased his. She rubbed her lips back and forth, soft, softer, tempting his to part and when he did, she sucked the taste of him into her, devouring him with teeth and tongue, she sought out every hot delicious mysterious creviceAnd then she forgot their teasing words. Forgot to think, forgot everything, but the need for more of this delicious man. Her thoughts and vision, her entire world narrowed into one desperate tormented purpose. She had to have more. He had to give her more. And he did. He gave and he gave until she thought she couldn't bear the pleasure another second and keep a thread of her mind. Her body grew tight, tighter, hard and harder. "More," she grunted above the sounds of their desperate breaths. "You have to give me more.""Yes," he managed. "I can hardly hear above the pounding of blood in my head, my ears. I think you're killing me and Jesus, I have to."

Guest author, Erin Leaf

Welcome guest author,Erin Leaf

~Who is Erin Leaf?~
Erin M. Leaf's romance novel, "The First Time is the Sweetest," was published by Siren-BookStrand in 2010. Erin's first story, written in third grade, involved a burning house, a desperate jump, and the last-minute save of her older sister. Since then, Erin has been a technical writer, an editor, a proofreader, and a poet. Erin is the kind of writer that loves a happy ever after ending every time.

~Tasty tidbits about Erin ~

What is your favorite season? AutumnWhat is your favorite junk food? Chocolate isn't junk food; there's a vitamin in it somewhere. What is your favorite color? Purple. And red. And yellow. Okay, the rainbow is my favorite color. How many pieces of jewelry do you wear on a daily basis? Twelve pieces or so (rings, bracelets). Do earrings count? No necklaces.Have you ever gone commando (no underwear)? Hell, yeah.

~Q&A with Erin ~
What made you decide to write the genre you do? I love romance novels! I love the tension, the buildup of sexual heat, the climax, and of course the happy ever after ending. And because I'm a bit of a rebel, I had to write the steamiest romance out there: ménage erotica. I love the idea of two guys getting it on and I love the idea of a lucky girl who gets to play with two men at the same time. There is no bad to be had in threesomes, as far as I'm concerned. When not writing, what hobbies/interests do you have? My latest passion is ballroom dancing. My husband and I are learning the tango and according to my teacher, to tango properly, you and your partner have to be plastered against each other. The tango is ridiculously sexual and I love it. My other hobbies? Bicycling is big for me. I've been bicycling since I was five years old. I also love to read, but that's probably a given, right? What writer doesn't love to read? If I don't have anything to read during breakfast I'll read the cereal box. And grocery receipts. If I'm desperate, I'll even read the bills, though I try to avoid that if at all possible. Reading's an addiction for me.What is your latest book about? My latest book, "The First Time is the Sweetest," is about a young woman who experiences love for the first time. My heroine, Sabrina, unexpectedly finds herself living with two hot guys. They fall in love with her as well as each other so Sabrina gets to watch them get down and dirty together. She's a virgin and the two men initiate her into the joys of sex, keep her safe from the bad guy who keeps shooting at her, and ultimately they live happily ever after.

What are your thoughts on eBook piracy? I hate it. It really vexes me to know that people are stealing the book that took me months to write. I went to college for writing, worked as a writer, and spent years learning my craft. When people steal my books, it means that they are stealing all those years of effort not to mention the money that I would use to help support my family. If I walked up to someone selling hand-made bags at a craft store and swiped one, that person would be pretty angry. eBook piracy is no different, but many people don't think of it that way. It's aggravating. If you could do one taboo thing what would it be and why? I've done pretty much every taboo thing I've ever wanted already: sloth (I don't have to wish this one, I embody sloth on an everyday basis), skip church on Sundays (I've got that covered—I'm an atheist), cursing (coming up with creative and amusing obscenities is a hobby of mine). Those that I haven't done aren't things that I particularly want anyway: adultery (my husband is awesome, I can't even conceive of this), murder (okay, sometimes I want to wack the ladies having social hour in the produce section of the grocery store, but I usually get over that pretty quickly). Oh wait! I just thought of one! I'd love to be able to sunbathe naked. In my backyard. I hate bathing suits. They're always twisting and riding up in the worst places. If you could go on a date with anyone (and I mean anyone) who would it be and why? Anaïs Nin. I've read her work and I think she's fascinating. I'd love to pick her brain about her life, her loves, her sexuality. I find her courage incredibly attractive. It's amazing to me how much she was able to actually be herself, despite the strictures of her society and her health problems. That takes a special kind of resilience. As for guys? My list is too long! Seriously. It might be fun to go on a date with a couple of my characters. Isn't that what writing an entire book about two hot guys is, really? A daydream gone wild. What is one thing about you that no one knows? Hmm, as far as writing goes? My biggest secret is that I have a whole other writing life under my real name, in a completely different genre. The readers I have in that world would probably be stunned to find out that I write erotica, however I'm under no illusions about keeping it secret forever. I'll probably enjoy the surprise when it comes out. What is your writing day like? Usually I get up and tell myself that I'm going to sit down and begin working on my novel as soon as I eat breakfast. This is a lie. I never manage to start work before noon, but this lie is dear to my heart and my sense of industry. The truth? I drag myself out of bed, eat breakfast, make the beds, surf the web, answer email, exercise, run a few errands, eat lunch. After that, I can usually make myself start working and I get in a good few hours before the kids come home from school. It's not glamorous, but it seems to work for me.Do you think there is a difference between making love and having sex? Most definitely! Sex is great and I completely believe it's possible to have sex with someone you like, just for fun. I see nothing wrong with fooling around. However, when you make love, the sex is that much steamier because you're searching for an intimate connection, not just getting off. Sex is masturbation with another person. Making love is how you grow closer to your lover because you are giving of yourself with pleasurable intent. What is your current project? I just completed a new erotic ménage that I'm hoping to get published soon. It's about a rock star, his best friend, and a high school librarian. The librarian begins to dream about the rocker and his friend, and eventually she realizes that she's not the only one dreaming. When the three finally meet: fireworks! And telepathy! Crazy paparazzi and some serious bad guys. I can't seem to write a book without a bad guy somewhere in the plot. I'm thinking of turning this particular universe (telepathy, bonding, soul-mates) into a series.

5 STAR: "There is a lot of heat to this book. It is not for the faint of heart. I recommend it!" -- Stephanie Rollins, BookReviewsRUs.com
4 TEA CUPS: "Mix a virginal heroine with a bi-sexual family friend and a bi-sexual FBI Special Agent, throw in some mayhem with possible gang repercussions, and you have an explosive mix. This story, as they say on the streets, 'rocks.' . . ."-- Desmond, Happily Ever After Reviews
Excerpt:                  "Who is it?" Jimmy asked, walking down the hall. He still looked disheveled, but at least he was decently attired.                  Sabrina sighed again. "I don't know, two guys in suits." She moved to unlock the door. "And guns," she added as Jimmy stopped behind her, putting his hands on her shoulders, then stepping to the side so that his presence wouldn't be immediately apparent to whoever was on the other side of the door. She swung it open and waited for the two strangers to introduce themselves.                  The younger man was even more attractive without the glass obscuring his features. As soon as the door swung out of the way, he locked his eyes on her. Sabrina stood there as he smiled, the corners of his blue eyes crinkling. She felt a flash of heat. Good lord, he's a handsome one, she thought faintly.                  "Hi, is this the Birch residence?" the man asked, smiling.                  Sabrina flushed. She felt like someone had hit her in the head, he was so gorgeous. She didn't speak right away, trying to get her libido under control. She hoped Jimmy hadn't noticed her reaction. It was just as well her boyfriend stood out of sight, behind the wood of the doorjamb. At least he couldn't see her face from there. The older man sighed, looking around again. He held a folder under his right arm.                  Sabrina blinked, gathering her thoughts. "Uh, yeah, can I help you?" Jimmy breathed heavily behind her. What was bothering him? Could these men be dangerous?                  "I'm Special Agent Oliver, and this is Special Agent Patrick, FBI." The younger man gestured behind him before reaching into his suit jacket and pulling out a badge. His smooth tenor was as attractive as Jimmy's baritone.                  Sabrina shivered, then crossed her arms over her breasts as she felt her nipples pucker. Hoping the agent couldn't see her reaction, she looked at the ID. It wasn't like her to drool over a guy she'd just met two seconds ago. She wondered if the near-constant lust she'd felt near Jimmy the past few weeks was affecting her ability to function. She leaned closer, trying to focus on the badge, but couldn't quite make out the fine print. Remembering that her dad always cautioned her to call in a badge number if officers came to the house, she reached out to take it in her hand.                  "If you don't mind, I'd like to check your ID," she said and the agent nodded, but she'd no sooner gotten her hands on it when Jimmy spoke, startling her.                  "No need, Sabrina."                  She pulled her hand back and glanced uncertainly over her shoulder at him. Jimmy looked pale but composed as he stepped up.                  "I know him, he's legit." They knew each other?                  Jimmy took a deep breath and held out his hand, "Long time no see, Gabriel." The younger agent stared at Jimmy like he'd seen a ghost, then reached out to grasp Jimmy's hand. Jimmy shook it firmly.                  Sabrina looked from one to the other as they stood there, unmoving. Both men looked rattled. She frowned, wondering what was going on when Gabriel opened his mouth to speak. Before he could say a word, the crack of a gunshot split the air, and she only had enough time to think, Crap! when Gabriel shoved her to the ground.

"Can I open your jeans?" she asked. She wanted to touch his skin. Gabriel opened his eyes and looked at Jimmy for a long moment before he nodded. Sabrina moved her right hand over and used both hands to open the button at the top of his jeans. Pulling down the zipper was a bit more difficult as Gabriel's erection pushed firmly against the metal. She got it halfway down before she stopped. She didn't want to hurt him."Here," Jimmy said, reaching over to help. She felt his breath on her neck when he slid his right hand into Gabriel's open jeans, pushing down gently on the other man's cock so she could pull open the zipper. Gabriel moaned, and Sabrina sucked in a breath at the sight of Jimmy touching him. It was the most erotic thing she'd ever seen, even more so as she realized that this was the first time Gabriel had ever been touched so intimately by another man. The thought of that pushed the heat spiraling inside her even higher. When the zipper was finally down, Jimmy slowly withdrew his fingers, stroking Gabriel on the way out. Gabriel breathed harshly, looking so completely debauched Sabrina couldn't stop herself from licking her lips. She looked at his face as her right hand cupped him through the soft cotton of his boxer briefs, using her left to peel back his jeans. He'd closed his eyes by now and tipped his head back into Jimmy's fingers. He looked gorgeous. The heat of his cock seared her palm as she ran her fingers up and over the crown, gently touching the wet spot on his underwear at the top. Suddenly he opened his eyes and she froze, the heat in them startling her. She couldn't look away, even when she felt Jimmy's lips against her neck. Then Jimmy's tongue darted out, rasping her skin as he licked under her ear. She shivered and clenched her hand around Gabriel tightly. He bucked up into her grasp."Please—" he groaned, but Sabrina didn't know what he wanted. She was out of her depth, completely. She cleared her throat. "What do you want?" Sabrina ran her finger over the crown again. Gabriel shook under her hands but didn't speak, thrashing his head back and forth. Jimmy moved his right hand onto her waist, rubbing against her ribs right under her breasts. His left hand cradled Gabriel's neck and Sabrina felt him grip Gabriel's hair in his fist."He wants you to pull down his boxers and touch him, Sabrina," Jimmy murmured in her ear. Sabrina's breath caught as Gabriel nodded distractedly. His hips twitched, making little bucking movements under her palm."Are you sure?" she asked Gabriel. "I don't know what I'm doing.""Yes, yes. You couldn't do anything wrong right now if you tried," he muttered, moaning again as her fingers stroked him. Sabrina smiled to herself, enjoying the look on his face. She still felt bashful, but with Jimmy's hand in his hair and her fingers on his cock, she could see that he couldn't control himself any longer. He pushed himself into her hand again, then opened his eyes and stared hotly at her. "Do whatever the hell you want, Sabrina."A zing of excitement flashed through her. Given his firm encouragement, Sabrina found the courage to grasp the elastic of his boxers and gently pull them down. It was more difficult than she expected because his erection bobbed out toward her as she tugged the cotton away. Gabriel lifted his hips, and she pulled his pants and underwear down to his thighs until he sat there, fully exposed. She stared. His cock arched up above his groin, thick and beautiful. He was uncut, the head flushed a deep rose color. A small, glistening drop of pre-cum decorated the tip. Sabrina licked her lips again, fighting the urge to bend over and lick him. Instead she stroked her hand up his length experimentally, and Gabriel groaned, shoving into her palm."God!" Sabrina looked up, afraid she'd hurt him. "I am so fucking hot right now." Gabriel gasped and bucked again. The soft skin of him slid against her palm as Jimmy panted hotly down her neck. She paused, not sure what to do."No, Sabrina, don't stop!" Gabriel groaned, gripping the sofa cushions with his left hand. His right hand flexed on her leg, and she realized he was holding back, trying not to frighten her. She watched as the skin of his cock moved under her fingers and then she let go, running her fingers through his pubic hair. His balls nestled tightly underneath and she fondled them gently, exploring their heft and wondering what it felt like when she touched them. When Gabriel moaned, she stopped again, not sure what to do. She hadn't realized they were so sensitive. And she thought they'd be larger. Gabriel had his eyes closed, and he was definitely flushed now. Sabrina fondled him some more and watched a bead of sweat run down his face."Can I still ask questions?" she whispered, running her hand back up his length. Another drop of moisture seeped from his cockhead, and she ran her thumb over it, rubbing it gently into his skin as he bucked up into her grip. He gasped."What do you want to know?" Jimmy murmured in her ear when Gabriel didn't respond. Sabrina felt herself breathing heavier, but even in her arousal she felt shy about voicing aloud what she wanted to know. "Don't be afraid, sweetheart." Jimmy stroked his hand along her ribs as she stroked Gabriel. When Gabriel opened his eyes and looked up at them, the blue was almost swallowed by the black of his pupils. Jimmy sucked in a breath, and Sabrina felt his hips move against her as though he needed to press against something.Gabriel moaned again, and Sabrina abruptly realized she loved when he did that. It was hotter than her fantasies, hotter than anything she'd imagined. She hesitated, another question on the tip of her tongue, and Jimmy smiled reassuringly."You can ask us anything, okay?" Gabriel nodded agreement with his eyes closed."I always thought a man's, um, balls would be bigger." Sabrina grimaced, completely mortified that she'd said that aloud. Gabriel smiled, but didn't open his eyes. She couldn't believe she was doing this. She couldn't believe she was holding Gabriel's sex in her hand, feeling his warmth, the slightly moist skin. He was letting her touch him, letting her do whatever she wanted to him. And she especially couldn't believe she was doing all this with Jimmy right next to her, breathing in her ear. Sabrina felt both powerful and shy, caught between the two emotions like she was caught between the two men."He's really aroused right now," Jimmy whispered. He'd moved his hand down from her waist and was inching over to Gabriel. He leaned over her and cupped Gabriel's sac just as she slid her hand over Gabriel's cock again. She wondered if she should lick her hand to make it easier to slide over him, but as soon as Jimmy touched the other man, Gabriel bucked in their grasp and she lost her train of thought."God!" Gabriel rolled his head back and forth on the couch now. Sabrina almost pulled away but Jimmy stopped her, holding her hand steady as Gabriel's cock flexed beneath both of their fingers."When a man is this close to coming, his balls tighten up and draw close to his body. Sometimes, you can keep him from it if you grasp them and pull them gently down and away, like this." As he spoke, he gripped Gabriel again, gently but firmly, and pulled down the sac as Gabriel groaned. His cock pulsed under her palm. Then Jimmy let go and moved his hand up to cover Sabrina's."Shit! Stop fucking teasing me!" Gabriel gasped weakly. Sabrina's eyes flew up to Gabriel and then Jimmy, who laughed and then looked at the other man."All right, Gabriel, hang in there," he said, his voice low and sexy, and Sabrina watched Gabriel shiver at the sound. Wow, Sabrina thought. He's as attracted to Jimmy as I am! Then Jimmy pulled her hand away from Gabriel and she had a moment to be confused before he spoke again."Sabrina, here, lick your palm, okay?" Jimmy brought her right hand to her mouth. Just as she went to lick her palm, Gabriel's eyes shot open and he looked right at her, his pupils blown with arousal. She licked her skin slowly, not looking away. She even sucked briefly on one of the fingers Jimmy had curled around hers. Gabriel swallowed hard and Jimmy choked. Arousing two men at the same time has to be some sort of accomplishment for someone as inexperienced as I am, Sabrina thought, feeling a thrill. She was really here, touching them even though she was still a little scared, but the way Gabriel looked, gripping the sofa's cushions and shaking, was enough to convince her that she wanted more. A lot more. Jimmy brought their hands back down to Gabriel's cock and slicked her palm down over the crown. When Gabriel thrust up, she curled her fingers around him, savoring the silky heat."This part is the most sensitive," Jimmy instructed, moving her thumb carefully, rubbing it into the spot just beneath the top while the other man thrashed his head. "Most men really like it when you stroke them there."Sabrina did as he instructed, delighted when Gabriel moaned again. His balls drew up even closer to his body as he opened his legs further. His cock flushed a darker red and she'd never seen anything so beautiful in her life. She wanted to lean down and kiss him, right on the top, but wasn't sure if she should. She let Jimmy move her hand some more. After a few more strokes, paying careful attention to that one spot, Jimmy shifted and murmured in her ear, "He's really close now."

Welcome guest author,Lauren Fraser

~Who is Lauren?~
Lauren Fraser has been reading and writing stories for as long as she can remember. As a child she was always rewriting the endings of her stories depending on the mood of the day. But sharing what she wrote with people, now that was a whole other ballgame.
After having her children and talking to them about pursuing your dreams and not letting anything hold you back, she decided it was time to practice what she preached and pursue her own dream of writing.
Lauren is currently published with Freya's Bower, Ellora's Cave and Total E-Bound with releases coming soon from Liquid Silver and Ellora's Cave.

~Tasty tidbits about Lauren~What is your favorite season? Summer. I love the heat, plus everything looks better when it's tanned. What is your favorite junk food? Chocolate, chocolate and more chocolateWhat is your shoe size? 6 I'm pretty short so I have small feet to match. How many pieces of jewelry do you wear on a daily basis? 8; Watch, 2 pairs of earrings, belly button ring, 3 rings, necklaceHave you ever gone commando (no underwear)? Yes, I'm afraid I have. The beach. The sand. It was grim. LOL Commando became a necessity.

~Q&A with Lauren~
What genre/s do you write? I write Contemporary Erotic Romance. What made you decide to write the genre you do? I enjoy reading erotic romance. I'm a huge romantic at heart and a sucker for a happy ending. When I started writing, I naturally gravitated to romance and sex is such a huge part of a healthy, loving relationship so it seemed odd to close the door on that part of what was happening with the couple. I think showing how they interact intimately really allows the reader to feel like they know and care about the characters. Plus it's kind of hot. LOLWhat is your latest book about? Aged to Perfection is an older woman/ younger man story. It's definitely a steamy read about a woman in her sexual prime who is experiencing the wonders of great sex for the first time. When did/does it come out?  It released September 6th from Total E-BoundWas there anything that inspired you to write it?  A girlfriend of mine was recently divorced and starting to date again. We had been talking about the slim pickings for men in her age range which got me thinking about why she had to only date a certain type of man. Why couldn't she date someone younger?Does your family know about your writing career? They do and they are incredibly supportive. What do they say about it? My parents actually use my promotional stuff, they have the magnet on the fridge and my mom has my pen in her purse at all times.  My children and husband proudly tell people I'm an author, although we don't share my pen name with most people. LOL. How did you choose your pen name? I'm a little embarrassed to admit how I chose it, but it was actually the name on my fake ID when I was underage many moons ago. LOLIf you could go on a date with anyone (and I mean anyone) who would it be and why? I guess I can't say my husband although I am absolutely crazy about him. So if we are picking famous people, hmmm. Oh I'm torn. My husband and kids always tease me and say I have a crush on "The Rock" and G.S.P so I guess I'd have to say either of them. Dwayne Johnson's (The Rock) an attractive guy and seems very sweet. And (G.S.P) George St. Pierre? I mean come on. LOL, I'm a huge MMA fan so it'd be fun to chat with him plus he's really hot. What is one thing about you that no one knows? Well I think I just spilled the beans about my secret crushes. LOLWhat is your current project? I just signed my second contract with Ellora's Cave for my new book; Sex, Sin and Surf. It's a really hot story about a sexy surfer and an older woman. I've kind of got a little theme going here with the two cougar stories, but what's not to like about those? I don't have a release date yet but I'll post it on my website as soon as I find out.
I also have a sexy geek story coming out soon from Liquid Silver called The Geek Next Door. It's about a guy who has a really geeky exterior but is anything but a geek in private. LOL It's kind of a friends to lovers story which I always enjoy.
I want to thank Lauren for sharing her interesting answers. Find out more about Lauren below!
