Check out the Gen Con 2015 Writer's Symposium schedule
The preliminary Gen Con Event Schedule is now available for our perusal, although we won't actually be able to buy tickets until next week.
The schedule includes our Gen Con Writer's Symposium seminars. These are free, and we won't boot you out if you don't have a ticket...unless the people who do have tickets take up all the available seating. If that should happen, non-ticket holders are out of luck, so it really is a good idea to sign up.
Besides, the tickets we collect are turned in to Gen Con and demonstrate that our seminars are popular and deserve a place in con programming next year. So if you like the seminars and want to make sure they continue, please take the time to get tickets.
You can check out the list of Symposium seminars and add them to your Wish List here:

My schedule for Oasis 27
Here is my schedule for Oasis 27 May 1-3 in Orlando.
Saturday 11:00 AM Are We Taking Over TV? From The Big Bang Theory to The Walking Dead, science fiction and fantasy shows are hot. Can these shows last? Are "we" here to stay? (Panel with Hinman, Morris, Ness.)
Saturday 01:00 PM Marvel vs. DC. Marvel has movies planned through 2019, and DC's TV shows are popular and multiplying. Will superheroes wear out their welcome? (Panel with Castro, Castro, Ness.)
Saturday 03:00 PM Charity Auction. Bid on special items from our guests, OASFiS members, and others. The proceeds help support the Andre Norton Scholarship at Valencia College. (I am the auctioneer.)
Saturday 05:00 PM State of Horror. Where is Horror going? (Panel with Boyes, Castro(m), Goingback.)
Saturday 08:00 PM Zombie Tango. The dead have staying power, with The Walking Dead, iZombie, and Pride, Prejudice and Zombies. How has this genre eaten so deeply into everybody's brains? (Panel with Boyes, Bradford, Castro.)
Sunday 10:00 AM Evil, Bloodthirsty Villain or Just Misunderstood? Maleficient, Dracula, Gru - what makes us want to rehabilitate the bad guys (and girls)? (Panel with Finklestein, McDevitt, Roen.)
Sunday 02:00 PM Fantastic Florida. What makes Florida an interesting place to put into fantastic fiction? (Panel with Hatfield, Wilber.)
