Teaching and Comfort Zones

The folks at Spoon River Poetry Review put together a great conversation about how teaching poetry that raises issues of gendered violence reveals and moves the borders of our comfort zones. I'm glad to read the thoughtful ideas and experiences of poets like Tyler Mills, Grace Bauer, and Sarah Chavez as I think through the work I'll be doing with students this fall.
