What I've Been Reading -- December 2020

 Long time no post -- I've been overwhelmed with other stuff. But anyway, here are my thoughts on a few books I read recently.  The Secret Agent is a brilliant story – realistic, suspenseful,
and in places heartrending. It must have taken astonishing courage to be part
of the French Resistance during WW2. The best compliment I can give to a book
is that the characters live on in my mind after I
