HOUSE OF THE SATIN GLOVE: Chapter 20 is up!
Romance lovers, today is your day. From now until the end of July when this book ends, there will be many payoffs! (After all, you've waited long enough through the build up, you wonderful, patient readers!)
So I'm thinking ahead here... One of my critique partners, the fabulous Sheri Whitefeather, read the end of HOUSE and wondered if there would be a sequel. I would love to write more in this world (after I finish a few other commitments!), and I have a few ideas. I'll have to think more on them, but wouldn't it be fun to explore the lives, loves, and mysteries of"other gloved companions"? Maybe even from the House's storied past...?

Chapter 19 up for HOUSE OF THE SATIN GLOVE!
There's been a lot of romantic build up between Sebastian and Scarlet. (Ooops--I almost typed "Sebastian and Crystal!) But to you romance fans out there, your patience is going to be rewarded, and we're starting this week... (Hint, hint.)
This novel is going to end in late July, and I'm going to be putting a print version up for sale. That means you can have all the chapters in one place. Even if I love my ereader, I'm still a print fan, too. There's nothing like holding that book and looking back at the cover every once in a while. I grew up devouring historical romances (and horror--go figure), and one of my greatest pleasures was reveling in those beautiful covers. I especially loved the ones by Elaine Duillo. (You can go here to check some out. And now that I've looked at some of these again, I'm dying to pick some of these up for a good summer read, LOL. However, I'm currently binging on the Pretty Little Liars books. Major crack.)

Chapter 18 up for HOUSE
I love writing serials, mostly because they challenge me to come up with the best cliffhangers I can. I'm really happy with the one I just put up for chapter 18--it's another big revelation in the continuing mysteries about the House itself!

We're probably at the mid-point in this story, which is actually a novel when you put all the serial chapters together. Scarlet is starting to get to the bottom of Sebastian, as well as the secrets of the HOUSE itself. But there are some mysteries about herself that she needs to figure out, too. Everything is coming home to roost!
I'm also working on a few other projects. Next on my schedule is another sweet western historical novella by Crystal Green for Debra Holland's Montana Sky Kindle Worlds!

When I was younger, I was addicted to VC Andrews, Sidney Sheldon, and all those glamour-revenge books that lined the bestseller shelves. While HOUSE isn't a high-gear revenge book, more of a new gothic romance with lots of mystery, sometimes I feel like I'm revisiting that Sheldon vibe.
Did anyone else read those books?
