ONE NIGHT WITH A VAMPIRE by Rozlyn Sparks ~ Sometimes the only way to forget the pain of a broken heart is to get back in the saddle. At least that is how Daphne’s friends see it. And since Daphne isn’t showing any signs of letting that happen, they take it into their own hands. Blindfolded, Daphne is whisked away to the famed, House of Immortal Pleasures, a vampire-run Brothel in Pahrump, Nevada, for a night of fun to exorcise her demons of boyfriends gone bad..
ALONG CAME A KILLER by Dicey Grenor ~ He’s a vampire who has found his calling in being a hired killer. Nothing’s better than taking out his targets, until he gets one he’s unsure how to handle. **This novelette (app. 12,000 words) occurs at the end of Sleepy Willow’s Loosed Soul (Vol. 3), before the Epilogue. One of the characters makes it to Wolf’s Fire (Vol. 3.2). Read to find out which one. If you are new to The Narcoleptic Vampire Series, ALONG CAME A KILLER can be read out of order or as a standalone.**
INDIGO by Willsin Rowe ~ After nine centuries, Caleb Durant believes he’s seen all the world can offer. Life has lost its music, and even hunting has become monotonous. But when he catches the essence of curvy young violist, Indigo Byrne, everything changes. Is she the one to bring music back into his immortal existence?
CRIMSON ADDICTION by Emily Walker ~ Vampire services are the norm now that they’ve decided to work alongside humans. Some of the services provided are more taboo than others. One night of bliss with a monster is never enough. Tamara should’ve known anything that good was just too dangerous. Now it’s the only thing consuming her thoughts. How will she ever escape its grip?
HALLOWEEN FANTASIES by Rozlyn Sparks ~ Touted as the sexiest party of the year, the annual Halloween Fantasy Ball is the one place a girl can let loose and succumb to her wildest fantasies.
Disguised as a sexy vampire huntress, Sasha captures the attention of Dante, a real life creature of the night. For Sasha, meeting bona-fide vampire is enough to fulfill one of her life long fantasies. She’s ready to go home a happy woman.
But Dante has other plans. It is after all, a night of fantasies, and he has a few of his own to share.
FOR THE LOVE OF RENATA by Lissette E. Manning ~ Renata Lorrie never expected to feel the way she does, most especially when it comes to her beloved Jackie. Amidst the ensuing chaos, she gives in to her hunger and insatiable desires. When love and passion collide, anything is possible, a certainty she’s learning every step of the way.
BITTEN by Morgan Black ~ Eve Mallory is a stuck up prude with a dead end newspaper job. But when her boss offers her a chance to write a story about the hottest sex club in town her whole world changes. Eve thinks she’s just at Red to get the scoop, she never expects to be brought into the elite circle of Vampires who are wealthy, beautiful, and hungry. Possibly for her blood. And then there's Derek, with his piercing blue eyes, incredible build, and smug understanding of Eve. Why does he know so much about her? And what is it about his touch that makes her tremble?
BLOOD PURPLE, BOOK ONE OF THE BLOOD SERIES by Ashley Nemer ~ In a world we think we know, live other races entirely hidden from the mortal perspective. Creatures of legend, of fable and myth, their very history and nature have allowed them to walk side by side with humans since time immemorial. They are warriors, they are hunters, and they are Algula. Vampire. And in their own midst, a battle is brewing for supremacy, for dominance, that can and will affect all around them. Old hatred never dies and vengeance is a fiery sword that cuts a bloody swath.
THE ROSE CHRONICLES by Julieanne Lynch ~ Young, beautiful and naive, Bianka doesn't understand the price she has to pay with being the chosen one. The choices she makes will forever change life as she knows it. More so when she becomes a vampire with insatiable thirsts and desires.

Excerpt from book 1: She smiled and I felt a need stir inside me, and it had nothing to do with my heart, or soul, for that matter.“You really let a demon tie you up?” Dimples appeared in her cheeks and mine bloomed with heat.I shifted, focusing back on the darkness beyond the glass, suddenly uncomfortable and unable to look at her. I swear my face must be the shade of a bright red kickball. “I wasn’t exactly myself,” I said without looking at her.She chuckled. The kind of chuckle that was meant as a turn on and I slid my gaze to her. “You like your men tied up?” I raised an eyebrow. It was her turn to blush and she grinned, shrugging and looking back outside. Before I could explore more of this conversation, she took a step back, dragging me with her. There must have been a dozen pale creatures slinking across the back yard. I gave her hand that gripped my upper arm a gentle pat and she turned her frightened gaze to me.“They won’t get through.” My voice held confidence, but deep inside, I was trembling just as much as she was. Damian, Steve, and I had wiped out more than this at the cove, but that was three of us and of course Paradise Cove probably had a lot to do with it.We both focused on the approaching horde and without much thought, I slung my arm around Valerie’s shoulder and pulled her close. It was time to concentrate on the deadly quality of the wall I put up. I wasn’t sure of how much sizzle to put into it.“I want to see them burn,” Valerie said, answering my silent contemplation and a chill ran up my spine. She had every right to hate these creatures as much as demons and I concentrated, glaring at the approaching danger. Saliva ran from their lips and their teeth gleamed in the moonlight. My heart pounded in my chest, sending throbbing vibrations through my skin. The harder my heart beat, the hungrier the approaching vampires looked.“Just a few more feet,” I muttered, focusing on the entire perimeter of the house because I wasn’t as much of an idiot as they thought. This wasn’t the only line of assault. Still, when they advanced, I took a cautious step backwards, pulling Valerie with me. The power inside me grew and I couldn’t tell whether it was the adrenaline or the power raking across my skin like a hundred finely manicured nails. The sensation grew, moving from the land of pleasure into the world of discomfort and I gritted my teeth.“Come on, you motherfuckers,” I growled, loud enough for their acute hearing to pick up. I moved Valerie behind me and positioned myself in a fighting stance, waving them in with my leading hand. The results were memorable. They all launched towards the glass slider and the moment they hit my invisible barrier each vampire burst into a ball of flame. The roar of fire drowned out their screams, but I heard them and the dark part of my soul reveled in it.Valerie let out a high pitched laugh and I glanced back at her, smiling. She met my gaze with a measure of awe. “The only one I ever saw do something that impressive was Michael.”Being compared to an archangel was humbling and I glanced outside at the black dust spinning on the wind. “I’m not an angel.”“Oh, I gathered that,” she said and stepped away.I turned towards her. “What do you mean by that?”“You’re more recent activities?”I shoved my hands into my pockets and stared at the floor, shamed by the fact she was privy to my more decadent actions. Instead of apologizing, I lifted my gaze to hers, studying the memories of her past, especially the times after the more traumatic events. Naomi was right about one thing. The girl never freaked out. Ever. And therein lay the challenge.I let a grin slowly surface and narrowed my eyes, stepping closer. “So, you want to try out some of those ‘activities’ with me?”She laughed. The kind of laugh that bruised a man’s ego and when she went into the gale realm, I crossed my arms, my good humor turning sourer by the second.

This, I Can Do
You know what I realised the other day? It's been well over two years since I released a Willsin Rowe book. I've had short stories in anthologies. I've released some stories under different pen names. But no Willsin books.
In that period of time, I spent time co-writing with my buddy in Las Vegas, the super Katie Salidas. We cranked out a good few books and it was a blast, but we've decided to call an end to that side of our partnership. We're still working together on behind-the-scenes stuff, but just not putting out stories any more.
So as I say goodbye to the Salidas & Rowe writing partnership, I say hello to being a solo writer again! And it almost feels like a debut.
And to celebrate getting back on the horse, I've released a short story entitled "This, I Can Do". It's a super-sweet and romantic story that still doesn't skimp on the smexy behaviour. It's the tale of a young mother who's dealing with all the changes that motherhood brings–both in lifestyle and in her body. Can a man truly write this kind of story convincingly? Well, I invite you to take a chance and see!

This, I Can Do - Available from Kindle Select

Teresa Ross is having the morning from hell. Still fairly new to motherhood, the changes to her once-slender body are one thing. But a teething baby she can't calm and the sleepless nights that go with it have drained her resources. Even a phone call to her calm-voiced husband Bradley does nothing. But when he surprises her by coming home from work, everything suddenly feels right. The lustful look in his eye lights a fire inside her that she feared had been doused forever. Far from being disgusted by the jiggly bits and stretch marks that taunt her in the mirror, Bradley sees the desirable woman she’s always been – with a whole lot more depth and character. When Bradley uses his daddy-magic to get the baby to sleep, the world is suddenly a beautiful place. But when he sends Teresa to bed, rest is the last thing on her mind. To truly connect with her husband again, she’ll have to put aside her body issues. Under Bradley’s tender touch and fiery eyes, suddenly that seems like the easiest thing in the world to do.
EXCERPT: The bed was comfortable and the morning was warm. With the blinds closed, the room had a twilight feel about it. The night had been awful, and my handsome husband was tending our beautiful baby. The house was quiet and the bedroom was toasty. Conditions were perfect for a long and well-deserved sleep. So it was sweet torture to realize I was horny like I couldn’t believe. Damn Bradley and his hand on my hip. Damn his words of praise. And most of all, damn those beautiful eyes of his, roaming all over me. My shower interlude had done less than nothing. It was like killing one ant, only to awaken the entire colony. The tickling want in my pussy had only one cure, and, after four months of discomfort, 19 hours of agony, and seven months of parenthood, it was the one that scared me the most. My husband’s cock. No matter how much I’d missed the feel of him inside me, the way he’d rock his hips against me and pin me to the bed and draw long moans from within me, I’d let fear block me. And fear had become a habit. A habit that needed breaking as soon as possible. Everything was quiet in the house. Either Bradley had left with Abbie, or he’d done the impossible, and actually gotten her to sleep. “Babe?” I remembered my sister using that voice. The one you try to project three rooms away without actually making any noise. He nudged the door open. Abbie was still in his arms, but with a pacifier in her mouth she was finally, blissfully asleep. Or maybe it was the warmth and strong pounding of her daddy’s chest. Hell, I’d long ago lost count of the times I’d fallen asleep listening to Brad’s heartbeat. “Babe, why don’t you put her down?” “Aw, I don’t get to hold her like this all that often.” I drew the covers slowly down and showed him where my hand was. “Oh. okay. Please yourself. And I’ll just have to do the same.” Bradley moaned as he once again studied my naked body. “Oh, god. I’ll be right back.”

Guest Post - Lisabet Sarai
Here's my chance for a fanboy moment! The fabulous Lisabet Sarai has kindly agreed to share her brand new release on my little blog here! (It's exceedingly difficult not to have a Wayne's World "I'm not worthy" moment here, ya know!)
But enough of Willsin's Waffle™. Let me hand over to the lovely Lisabet herself.
* * * * *
One Night in BangkokBy Lisabet Sarai
Bangkok, Thailand, has a split personality. It is famed for its glittering temples, vibrant street markets, deliciously fiery cuisine and abundant hospitality. At the same time, its go-go bars and sex shows, transvestite cabarets and ready flesh for hire have given the city a rather sleazy reputation as one of the sin capitals of the world. A seam of darkness runs through Bangkok, flowing slow and deep as the Chao Phraya River that winds its way through the City of Angels.
The reality, of course, is far more complex than either stereotype. I know the city fairly well, having lived there for two years during the nineties and visited often in the years since. My first novel, Raw Silk , celebrates the exotic, sensual side of Bangkok. Kate, the expat heroine, finds herself as dazzled by the opulent glamor of her royally-connected lover as she is by the tender ferocity of her tattooed Master.
My new release, an erotic thriller entitled Bangkok Noir , explores the seamier side: sex for sale, official corruption, violent crime. It includes M/f, F/f and femdom scenes, as well as some real violence (though not in the context of sexual arousal).
Diana Fanning, aka the Professor, runs The Academy, the only genuine BDSM bar in Bangkok. She's the first person police colonel Apichat Weeranwongsakul consults when a bar girl turns up brutally murdered, tightly bound, with clamped nipples and every orifice stuffed with sex toys. The colonel figures the killer might be one of her customers. But he has his own secrets. He needs Diana to satisfy his shameful dreams of being beaten and abused. Meanwhile, a mysterious American named Sam stalks Nok, the lovely natural dominant who is the Professor's star performer. Nok is used to being the one in charge. She can't understand why she craves the discipline Sam administers.
As more women are slaughtered, always in kinky circumstances, the Professor finds herself in an exclusive world catering to the perversions of Bangkok's wealthy and well-connected. Simultaneously looking for evidence and satisfying her own lusts, she doesn't realize until too late that the power she's used to wielding won't save her from becoming the serial murderer's next victim.
Here’s an excerpt, in the voice of the Professor, who is about to punish the colonel for betraying her.
****I didn't tend to keep kinky paraphernalia around my place, but a skilled dominant can always improvise. A cotton sport sock to cover his erection, held in place by a couple of elastic bands, and some surgical tape to fasten it to his belly, and voila! I had a makeshift cock cage. "If you come," I warned while I handled him, "you'll wish you'd never been born." "Yes, Ajarn," he replied through gritted teeth. "Now you can bend over. Reach backward to grip the rail. Raise that ass of yours up where I can reach it." Once he was in position, I retrieved the rope and began to secure him to the sturdy brass bar. My slick thighs rubbed together and my clit pulsed as I moved behind him. He looked so deliciously vulnerable. Eager as I was, I forced myself to slow down, building the tension each time I wound the rope around his wrist and the bedstead. The white hemp strands made a lovely contrast with his swarthy skin. "Spread your legs." I bound his thighs to the internal bars of the headboard, to immobilize him further as well as for the aesthetic effect. By the time I was finished, neatly aligned loops marched from his groin halfway down to his knees. Apichat lay completely still, waiting for my next command. I traced a fingernail over the monochrome tattoos that decorated his brown shoulder, curlicues and ancient characters no doubt inscribed by a monk to ward off evil. He flinched at my touch."Are the ropes too tight?" "No, Ajarn." "Are they tight enough?" He didn't answer. I reached between his legs to test his balls. They were taut and high. My colonel was very excited. "Now for your beating. I'm not going to use your belt, though. That's for when you're well-behaved." Returning to the closet, I retrieved one of my own belts. Like the colonel's, it was fashioned of leather, but barely a centimeter wide. It would move faster and carry more of a bite, almost like a whip. And of course, if I really wanted to cause him pain, I could use the buckle end.I shrugged off my robe and strolled to side of the bed, so Apichat could see both me and the belt. I brought it down hard on the mattress, half a meter from his face. "This is going to hurt like hell. And then, after your beating..." Leaving the sentence hanging, I pulled my harness out of the drawer in the bedside table and buckled it on. The soft leather-and-elastic straps fit snug as a second skin around my hips and thighs. The confusion in Apichat's eyes morphed to terror when I exhumed the dildo and settled it in place. I'm not sure whether that look or the press of the toy against my clit aroused me more. "No...please...not that!"I stood akimbo, looming over his bound and prostrate form, my cock jutting from my loins. "Will you disobey me, then?""No, Ajarn, no. But I'm a man..." "You're a dog. A worm. A disloyal snake. Shall I untie you and send you away? Unpunished? I will if that's what you want.""No, no, I need you to punish me.""But it's up to me to decide on the nature of the punishment. Don't you agree?"Fear, disgust and desire battled for ascendancy in face."Look at me." I gripped my cock and stroked it as though I were masturbating. Little sparks of pleasure sizzled through my pussy. "Am I your mistress?" "Yes...yes.""Do you trust me?" A long silence and then, a whisper. "Yes." "Then do I have the right to fuck your ass, if that's what I feel like doing?""Um...uh...yes." A violent shudder seized him."Yes what?""Yes, Ajarn. You have the right to fuck me."

* * * * *
A Snog For Sommer
It's a great honour to take part in this wonderful cause today - A Snog For Sommer.Sommer Marsden was one of my first really good buddies in interwebz author land. She has a shine to her spirit that radiates across oceans and lands, and bursts through electronic communication lines. And what she and her family are enduring at the moment feels completely unfair because they're all such great people.
Being half a world away means physical help is a little beyond me, and that's an ache that's hard to bear. So every time I see a chance to help through the power of the interwebz, I takes it!
And don't forget, if Sommer has touched your life with her fiction or with her beautiful personality, please give strong thought to donating a little bit to help her family get through this trying time. And if she hasn't touched your life with her fiction...WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN? Go! Buy all her books! Read them and fall in love with her like so many of us already have!
Ahem. So here, without further ado, is my (unedited) snogging excerpt, from my soon-to-be published paranormal erotic romance story, "Indigo".
“Caleb...take me. Love me if you will, just fuck me if that’s all you want, I don’t mind. But please...take me the way only you can.” She curled her head back and bared to me the heaven of her throat.“No...”“I know you want it.”I pushed her back and growled, the beast inside me delighting at the fresh burst of alarm that coursed through her arteries.“Of course I want to, you silly girl! But it will end your life. Don’t you understand?”“You stopped once. You can do it again. I trust you.”I moved with all my preternatural speed and grasped her around the waist and upper arm, pulling her sweet body against me. “Then you are more foolish than I thought.”She sighed and ran her hand up into my hair, vainly trying to pull my mouth down to her neck. I held my desires at bay, trying against all my instincts to be good. To be human.“Take me.”“No! You say you have known men? Then think of me not as a vampire, but merely a man. Do you not understand the drive inside me? The unstoppable momentum of my desires...”She clung to me, pulled my hand from her waist and rested it against her neck, gifting me the throbbing heat of her accelerated pulse. “But you’re much more than just a man, aren’t you, Caleb? Stronger. More evolved. It’s not that I think too highly of you. It’s that you think too little of yourself.”She pulled herself up to me and pressed her lips against mine. The ragged voice of need shot up and down my spine, arcing out into my muscles, pushing, prodding, daring me to dip into the well of perfection that her heart drove through her body. And I could. There was nothing to stop me. Nothing but the humanity I wished to prove was still there, sleeping safely within this brittle shell. But what power has erudition and sophistication against the ravenous pull of the hunger?Another beastly growl curled from my throat as I took Indigo’s mouth hostage, grinding my lips into hers. Her tongue slipped inside me, finding my fangs and plucking at them as if they were strings. Each pizzicato pull sent a spark of desire shooting down my spine. She sang sweet moans into my mouth as I dragged my fingers across her skin, indulging that desire to mark her. To leave my brand on her. She worked the coat off me and started on my shirt. In no time I was naked, my skin at least as milky as hers, so much so it was difficult to see the spaces between us.And then, once again, there were no spaces between us. Her mouth to mine, her breasts on my chest, our arms curled around each other. She hooked her leg around my thigh and brought the delectable heat of her pussy up against my cock. I found her ass with my hands and pulled her harder into me.I captured her tongue between the sharpness of my fangs and she froze. As I fisted my hand in the tangerine heaven of her hair I bit into her tongue, just hard enough to break the skin. Indigo squealed with delight, the twin pains sending sparks of pleasure through her body. The burst of blood into my mouth threatened to take my knees from me. A chain is as strong as its weakest link. The beast may roar and bound, but it stood atop the crumbling bedrock of my humanity. And the nectar of her body was as a drug to me.

RevolutionChronicles of the Uprising: 3
Peace is an illusion. Blood, violence, and death follow Mira like shadows.
Battle lines have been drawn between human and Otherkin and bloody war is on the horizon: one that will end in either a shift in the world’s balance of power...or ultimate destruction.

Mira is sent across enemy lines to recruit any able-bodied vampires to her cause. But what she discovers along the way will blur the lines between friends and enemies. Seeds of doubt weaken Mira’s allegiance and she finds herself torn between the old masters who used her as entertainment, and the new ones who consider her as nothing more than a weapon.
As the war draws near, Mira will have to decide what she is truly fighting for.

It's Good For What Ails Ya...
I blogged a couple of days back about the gang-bang cover art I've been making lately. Interestingly, I forgot to mention that in many cases, there's no actual hint on the cover about the content. On one of the covers there was a couple. The others both had a single lady (with or without a ring on it). Even the titles didn't wholly reflect the multitudinous nature of the participants. In fact, even that last sentence was far frillier than it needed to be, all of which is symptomatic of the way these so-called taboo subjects need to be treated in order that they still be searchable on the distributors.
But with lactation erotica? Not so much.
Yes, lately I've had a huge influx of lactation erotica covers to make. This would probably be a genre that nudges the taboo without really diving in. And it's possibly on the edge of edgy. It's a niche market, but I think it's a nice one.
And the good thing with lactation erotica is that I get to work with boobs. There's nothing wrong with that in my book. And what a bevy of bouncy boobies I've been blessed with.
Firstly, a boxed set called Cream of the Crop 2. This was a lot of fun, taking an image which could NOT be used, and making into one which could. I love a challenge. Plus, did I mention boobs?
And from there, I scored the chance to work directly with Aubrey Ember on her ever-increasing catalog of lactation works. Firstly with her The Amazing Human Cow series (6 titles + boxed set; selection shown below).
From there, Aubrey and I have moved on to the Milky College Student series, which includes some older man/younger woman power play erotica, as well as some gang-bang stuff (in a nice crossover between the two genres I've been discussing). This series is also six titles + boxed set.
Mmm...boobies...

By Its Cover
It occurs to me that the old cliché that we should not judge a book by its cover is a double-edged sword.
I've noticed plenty of covers out there - flat ones AND 3D ones - which are simply poor. No other word describes them fairly. But the reason I've noticed them is because they're selling well.
Now most people can recognise poor visual work, even if they can't put names to the faults. Yet overall, it seems plenty of people are willing to ignore issues of quality when it comes to a book they want. People are not, indeed, judging the book by its cover.
Certainly it seems this is more common within erotica than in any other genre. People are after the quick thrill of the story, and the packaging is neither here nor there.
But it begs the question...is it really worth having good cover art? This is not a challenge, or a thinly-disguised request for martyrdom. I do spend a goodly amount of time striving to create the best quality covers I'm capable of, but I do sometimes wonder if it's really that important.
What do you guys think? Will you buy a book with a shoddy cover as long as it's a story you believe you'll enjoy? Or would bad cover art turn you off buying it at all?

Something Harder
In recent weeks and months, I've been getting some harder stories to create cover for. Well, maybe "harder" is not the right word. More taboo, edgier material, that's not necessarily dark.
It's been a good experience for me as both a cover artist and a writer. It's let me know that there's a market for nearly everything (which I guess I already knew, but it's nice to see it metaphorically in the flesh).
The two main genres I've been working on have been gang-bang erotica and lactation erotica. I'll have a new post about the milky stuff later on, but this post will be about the gangs.
A few writers of my acquaintance teamed up to create a bunch of bundles. They're not all published yet, but several of them are. And I was fortunate to be given the opportunity to create a few of the covers.
