I’ve got some really big news I wanna share with all of you – hitRECord is gonna make our very first TV commercial!

As I previously announced, LG has come on board as our technology partner. They loved our “In-Between Moments” concept so much that they’re making it a part of their international ad campaign. I think LG deserves a lot of credit because it’s not a normal thing to make a television commercial in this out-of-the-ordinary way where it’s really a short film in the slot of a TV spot.

We’re already working on the “In-Between Moments” short film - which’ll be roughly 3 minutes. But this commercial’s gonna be about 30 seconds, so we have to make it a bit different.

Here’s how everyone can get involved:

VOCALISTS + MUSICIANS: Replicate the vocal and percussion parts that are in THIS :30 COMMERCIAL DEMO - then build off of it, embellish it, go crazy with it by adding your own hums, melodies, harmonies, percussion, beats, anything.

* The deadline for this request is Tuesday, September 15th. (Worth noting, our Resident Curators will be selecting the 50 community recipients of the LG smartphones by Sunday, September 6th. More info on that HERE)

“The In-Between Moments” is the subject of our new short film in partnership w/ LG and I’ve got some creative challenges for writers.

WRITERS: Think about a specific memory you have from an “In-Between Moment,” then write it down in a simple, intimate, confessional, and natural language.

TEXT CURATORS: Curate your favorite pieces of writing into a text record or an album.
