This new Looper Animation is very, very special.

Zach Johnson (who did these painted posters) worked with Noah Fisher to create a gorgeous animation, by hand painting over 700 frames.  The gif above is pulled from it, but you need to see the whole thing.  I want every single one of them on my wall.  Check it out over at Apple Trailers.

We’re making an Animated Musical Short Film based on ppeppina’s song “Mademoiselle Noir,” which is a darker re-telling of the classic fairytale of Rapunzel. 

This Short Film’s Resident Directors are going to be the dynamic duo MarieIv&sojushots!

CALLING ALL ILLUSTRATORS: Lots of illustrations are needed for this collaboration! THE FULL LIST OF REQUESTED ILLUSTRATIONS ARE IN THIS VIDEO.

The visual style should be based on this illustration & the color palette of this Short Film is dark & bleak - lots of blacks, grays, and cool blues.

Rian Johnson’s new film Looper, starring Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Bruce Willis, and Emily Blunt opens in theatres on Friday, September 28.
