Hang Your Home With Poetry
No, the title of this post isn't hyperbole, although it is poetic. ;)
I actually mean it literally.
Because She of the Wild Etsy shop is back!
I’ve had some beautiful people requesting signed copies of my books and wondering where the old She Zines got to. I figured my old shop might be the best way to orchestrate all that.
But on top of that, I had an idea.
On my Instagram, I already share carefully, artistically created images featuring my poetry alongside minimalistic illustrations. I think they’re so pretty.
And then I thought: wouldn’t they look great hanging on the wall?
Maybe I’m biased. My own home, after all, is decorated with others’ artwork that heavily features words — and sometimes is ONLY words.
I love being surrounded by words.
I thought you might too.
So I turned those Instagram images into high resolution, printed-to-last art.

Look Inside My Book...
As you may know, Balefire recently got a whole new look (which I am loving!).
But that meant I hadn’t held it in my hands. Not really. Not in its new iteration.
I quickly ordered myself a copy and now it’s here! It feels even better in my hands than I expected. And I adore how it looks next to its sister book, Night Cycles.
I’ve been enjoying finding unique ways to share my poetry and art over on TikTok, and today, I’ve shared a flip-through of Balefire in all its re-covered glory.

A New Cover for Balefire
It’s true — Balefire got a facelift!I loved Balefire’s old cover.
But I’m not sure it served the book’s interior.
A cover can be a peek at its book’s soul. And that old Balefire cover? It wasn’t quite it.
I think this new cover is a far better fit.
Bonus: it matches the style of its sister, Night Cycles!
