“King Brahmadatta. There was one King Mallika who ruled the neighbouring state. He too was known for his righteousness. He too had the same doubt about himself as of King Brahmadatta. King Mallika also went out in disguise to clarify his doubt, and he too could not find anyone finding a fault with the king. One day as they were going thus, the two kings came face to face in a narrow track of road. It was so narrow that only one person could pass through it one time.
